When I got there I was greeted by a friendly receptionist! The other stylist I saw while waiting (I was early) were also very friendly. The salon was very clean. I was kinda nervous about my haircut as we've just recently moved back to area and well you know going to new hairdresser is always little nerve wracking! Then I meet SERGIO! The worst place ever!!! My second time giving the company a chance with my hair because I met a hair stylist outside of the store and she said sharaja said she was a stylist . And had her did my perm . Then came back for a re do of a highlight I neeeded! I was in the salon total 10hours!!!!!!!!! Paid $200 and my hair is Runin !!!! I was as crying and not only I had to be there twice ! And still could not fix my hair . I'm very kind but my hair is everything to me. She was trying to bleach my hair , claimed it wasn't getting dark enough .. and then try to get me to pick another color I was so unhappy and she like okay come back in a week we will try fix it . I was so scared I asked another salon girl and I could tell she was annoyed ! That's not the point . It's okay to ask if you're not making a client happy! The other girl literally said you should have waited more and she like I didn't want too . && here is Monday I come back and sit there 3 hours ... first time was 7 hours!!!! And thinking she going to fix it . After I seen is she blows drys it to a degree just that is dry ! Not even styled . At this point I'm annoyed . And I had to get to my children . And I was in a rush . I looked at it quickly and I liked the color .... But she messed up the roots I have three different colors at the root of my hair . Cause again she had to fix the highlight. Then it looks like I got this style long time ago and not at the root !!!!!!!!!! When I got home straighten to actually take a look. It was over highlighted!!!! I wanted in front over highlighted hair and she did my whole hair ! And I couldn't believe it . I was first in salon like maybe I need to style it . And I was wrong !!!! I crieddd so much I couldn't sleep! Hair is very important as a women! I wanted to get my money back or have a manager fix this ! It said that the salon will let another employee let a client leave and notice that should be like that. Literally the other stylist looked like damn she messed up her hair. I requested layers and curtain bangs, I explained to the stylist that I usually get this style to have my hair weigh less. I even showed her a picture OF ME for reference. She took off more than 2 inches from my hair and did a really bad job on the evenness. I cried for days after I realized what she did, I got home and felt WAYYY less hair (I try to not touch my hair too much when I get it done and in the salon it did not look like a lot was taken off). I came in because my regular barber was on vacation, and a reservation was not required. I walked right in, and they immediately assigned me to someone. I have asked how I wanted my hair cut because my barber has cut my hair for over ten years. So when the barber asked me what number of trimmers I liked, I had no idea what she was talking about. Apparently, the number represents how long I wanted my hair trimmed. Apparently, not much effort is needed. The barber did not even use the scissors. All she did was run the trimmer around my head. In five minutes, the haircut appointment is over. Maybe this is how a men's haircut should be. But my barber would take more time and care for my haircut. Checked in and sat in the stylist chair showed her the pic and she said "I DONT DO UPDOS!!!" She said she does not have that skill. I said can anyone do it, she said no, not here. I said I put udo under my service request, why didn't you call me? She said I wanted to make sure that is what you wanted, sometimes people call other styles updos. I called Armando with concerns in looking for a new hairdresser for my granddaughter London. London is a mixed child. He said he has a stylist named Mala and she can do London's hair. GREAT DAY FOR A RIP OFF ! I came here one day as a walk in, the staff appeared to be friendly depending on the day, but it was really more being bated by Lions. Each hair stylist has a different price for each service, though they have all the prices posted up and will charge you something else if they feel like it or the mood that's in the air. The price you will pay will depend on which hairstylist does your hair due to their experience or their inexperience it starts from the base price listed on the board. A simple woman's hair wash and blow dry can go anywhere from $20-$35 and this is not a deluxed hair wash...ask Karen she tried to rip me off the second time around after she upped the charge to $33 and Arden didn't budge after he charged me $23 the first time I saw him, he didn't even say it's not the $20 listed on our website or poster board. It gets better I had an appt with him that day, he asked me if I could wait because he's not sure how to do my hair versus the person sitting in his chair at my appt time then he will take me. Oh let's not do me any favors! Karen started at $20 and the last time she quoted me was $33 for the same service one week later, she washed my hair halfway and never even touchéd the sides or front of my scalp. She even tried to do my hair before she told me how much it was just like Arden. I had to seriously ask her, because she started to look nervous when I heard whispers of what the price should be. So buyer beware, it's not as wonderful as they claim. Oh yeah they have another one in the same plaza $35 for a wash and blow dry. Seriously people, the Mgr is aware and she backs up all the prices by their experience! GREAT PLACE FOR A RIP OFF!
