I can't afford "Cost Cutters", so I'll go to a real salon from this point forward. I took off all the nickel and dime extras that are part of a normal service. I paid for just highlights/cut. I showed pictures of what I was thinking - all were shoulder length. When I felt scissors and clipping way up on my neck, I was like... oh sh!7 It was absolutely the worst cut I've ever had and it's going to take months to grow out. Since I didn't pay for all the services, I walked out with a still damp head, no style, hair frizzing up, and $145 less in my bank account. Run, Run, Run away from this place.

Her name is Katie .She is incredibly polite, patient, and really takes her time with everything she does. What I appreciated the most is how well she listens--she gave thoughtful suggestions without pushing anything, and it felt like a real give-and-take conversation. When she washed my hair, she even gave me a little head massage, which is something I rarely get at salons, and it made the experience feel extra special. She has such a sweet and gentle personality, and even though she's young, she carries herself with so much professionalism and kindness. That price includes her washing your hair afterward which my car has been very thankful for, and the gel which only seems to make me more self-conscious. It's usually not too busy, but she does accept appointments. Otherwise, you could visit Han Kabob, Map of Thailand, or Koko Bakery next door while waiting. She is efficient, but does take the time to do it right and make sure you're happy. During which, expect to engage in a conversation about her life (which really is quite interesting) and listen to her lament that the referral of customers from her establishment to the restaurants nearby is only one-way. I wear glasses so couldn't see a thing during the cut. 15 minutes later, she brought out a mirror, let me put on my glasses, and there are multiple clear BALD spots on the back of my head. I confronted her about it, she first denies it. I then take a picture and confronted her with the picture, she has the balls to say it's because of the way hair grows. I told her this is ridiculous, she just said, what do you want me to do then. Meg did my updo, along with about half of the bridal party and it turned out better than I could have imagined! I told her to do whatever she thought would look good, but just to make sure it wasn't slick against my head making me look bald. She gave my hair texture and a great bun that lasted all night! She was easy to talk to and made the whole experience enjoyable. She did about half of the rest of the bridal party and their hair looked great too. Lauren is the owner and took the other half of the party and everyone looked great. If you're planning a wedding I would definitely consider getting the parties hair done here. It was great. We had the place to ourselves and they allowed us to bring in some breakfast foods to enjoy while everyone got their hair done. They also had a makeup artist come in who did some of the girls make up, and they allowed others to bring their own and do it themselves. I can't speak personally to the typical hair cuts and other services, however the bride goes here regularly as did one of the bridesmaids mothers an both had nothing but good things to say.
