The lady at the front desk was super kind and sweet(owners mother in law) The haircut itself was really good she even put a detangler in her hair which made it smooth for days. We will definitely be going back again and again my wife is even setting up an appointment for herself. CON: I only have one negative thing to say about our experience. It was the little bench she was sitting on to get her haircut it was not super safe or sturdy for a kid to sit on while getting their haircut. It even slid off with her on it at one point because the armrests are rounded. I could tell she was a little uneasy about sitting there at first on the bench thing. A plastic booster seat would of been so much safer and better for my child to sit in. Or something that actually clicked to the seat The experience overall was perfect for a four year old princess getting her hair cut.

The person who did my hair was Lisa I believe. She was warm and approachable, asked me what I wanted my hair to look like and asked if I had a photo. Having short hair may not be a thrill to stylist but she did a fabulous job giving me the va-va-voom I needed for this evening wedding. Blowouts are $25 and a steal. This place is really a gem. The stylist who attended to me was not the usual one, and she left my hair completely blonde!! It was like I went from being a brunette to Shakira overnight! I would never in my life ask for that kind of artificial and overdone blonde, and even less without consulting me. Also , during the process, before I realized the mistake, the stylist after two hours told me she didn't have time to cut or style my hair and that I would have to come back another day What ??? She left the dye on my hair for almost THREE HOURS, which I'm sure didn't help the situation. I was starting to get worried as the time went by, but I trusted that she knew what she was doing. Boy, was I wrong. When she finally rinsed out the dye, my hair was completely ruined. When the other stylists realized the damage, they tried to fix the mistake with a toner, but the result was .... OMG : now my hair looks gray It's unbelievable that they couldn't get it right in the first place, and their "solution" was even worse . I've been a client for three/four years and I never imagined I'd receive treatment like this. The lack of recognition and condescending attitude of the staff was what bothered me the most. They said, "This is the color we always do for you," acting like it was true. There was no "Sorry, we made a mistake".They acted like I was crazy and it was all just a fabrication!! Needless to say, I left without paying. Now I'll have to go to another salon to try to fix this mess. I have photos of my hair before, during, and after the disaster, so I can prove the evidence . If you have naturally textured hair that has curl or wave to it do not go to this salon. The cut you will get will butcher your hair in its natural state. Maria goes back and forth splitting her attention from one customer to the next. She will stop mid cut to go color another customers hair. She does not listen to what you want, she gets an idea in her head of what haircut you should have and does what she wants without even consulting you. I wanted a simple bob and I almost ended up with a pixie. My hair is uneven and sticking up at funny angles in the back which will take months to grow out. Maria is not only inconsiderate but she is also incompetent. If your hair is textured and you want someone to accommodate your needs do not get your haircut at this salon.

What I was angry with was the cost, my normal expense is $150.00 plus I always tip her $50.00. But this time it cost me $250.00 !!! And I honestly felt like I had just walked out of Best Cuts and that I could've done exactly what I paid for myself for way cheaper. The cost of each service is not posted anywhere in the salon nor on their website- annoying!!! I also find some of their workers to be rude, one of them being the owner who is abrupt & uninviting on the phone but a completely different person face to face. I'm not sure what that's all about but I hate calling to schedule an appointment! Then there's another younger stylist (we'll call her Jersey Shore) who washed out my hair while Shawn worked on another client. No "hello", no smile, no nothing- just complete silence- she was definitely angry about something or at someone but when I'm paying these prices I expect better customer service. I would've been happy with a simple 'Hi", honestly.
