After 4 hours of styling, the job was finally complete-little to my knowledge, it wasn't done well. I went home that evening, only to realize that my twists were unraveling. I called Ms. Nana, who installed my twists and who's also the owner of the salon, and she told me to stop by so she could "fix" them. I came back to the salon, expecting my hair would be corrected, considering the fact that I paid over $100 for the style, along with the hair. The NEXT day, I noticed my twists were STILL unraveling. I dipped the ends into hot water, as I was told to do by the owner, as an effort to "seal" the ends of the hair. No luck. So, I went back to her the day after. It was upon my arrival that I was told by Ms. Nana that she could not redo my hair. That is when I asked for a refund and she refused. (Don't let me fail to mention that NOWHERE in the salon was there any signs stating that she didn't offer refunds.) I left and went to another salon as an attempt to get the style corrected. It was there that I was told that the job was very messy (obviously) and even the wrong hair was used! Little to my surprise, the twists began to fall out, ONE WEEK after they were installed, guys. This style was supposed to last 2-3 months. Needless to say, I WOULD NOT recommend going to this salon. I tried to save money and gas, however, you get what you pay for. Lesson learned.

Kala has textured my hair so that it is comfortable growing my hair out. Visit for blow outs between cuts. Self care and being pampered in one. Have recommended this salon to 5 friends. All have visited but were seen by other hairdressers. Everyone was overjoyed with their cut. Can't recommend them more.

They also carry the Dubai fragrances that so many people are going crazy for right now including the air freshener and body spray which you can usually catch on sale. I will say the perfume is a little higher than other places so just be aware of that. Whenever I go in I grab a perfume oil or 2 since they have so many and at a great price. They're good to just toss in your purse for a little refresher throughout the day.
