When being taken back you enter a large airy room also beautifully decorated and has several lounges for the techs to work at. I was comfortable for the most part even with my back injury. As far as the tech I wish I got her name because she was great. Good conversation, comforting, informative..even coming in with a hot mess another salon did she did her absolute best to fix it. I think she did a fabulous job. Does it cost more here? Yes. But you get what you pay for. If you want a glob of weave glue on your eyelash clumps go ahead to the other places in the area (I experienced this first hand) but if you want quality come here. The three products that I received and told were valued at $35 are actually retailed at $7.88. The are beauty supply store products that can be purchased for $1-$3.

Because my graduation ceremony started at 5:30 pm and my pre-graduation luncheon was at 1:30 she decided to schedule my appointment for 3:15 so we'd have plenty of time to eat, drive to the place, get my make-up done, and arrive at my graduation before the ceremony started. So we get there at 3:05 and try to get in, but the door was locked and the store was dark. My mom and I were confused because according to the schedule on their door they already opened at 10:00 am and were not supposed to close until 8:00 pm on Friday. So my mom and I wonder what was going on because it was already 3:10, then a lady who claimed to be co-owner the store tell us they the other owner wasn't there yet. So my mom and I decided to wait in the car since it was boiling hot outside. We waited there until 3:20 then decided to leave. We were on a very crunched time schedule since we lived 1 hour away from the place, and my ceremony was held at the University of West Georgia which was 35 minutes away from my house. So after that irresponsible owner completely bailed on us and wasted our time she then sent my mom an email at 3:30 saying she was sorry for not being there due to a "family emergency." First of all, when you have clients, they expect you to be punctual. When you have to cancel and appointment you're supposed to give your clients an early notice, so they don't end up driving all they way to the store and wasting their time. The worst part was she had the nerve to offer me a time tomorrow for my makeover. I needed that makeup for Friday and Friday only because that was the day of my fucking graduation! How stupid was she? If she knew that she had a family emergency then she should have just called my mom instead of emailing her since she had her number! And she could have told us earlier so my mom and I wouldn't have had to drive all the way to her store and waste an hour. Does she have any idea how badly she screwed up my schedule?! I could have enjoyed my meal with my family, I could have had more time to fix my hair, I could have taken more graduation pictures with my parents, but instead, she decided to be selfish and inconsiderate and not think about how her fuck-ups could affect her customer's day. Not to mention the area the store was in was in the ghetto, so I didn't even feel safe there. If you need to get your makeup and hair done go anywhere else but here. Unless you don't care if the owner is inattentive and a day late to your appointment.

Finally after picking up a flier and walking towards the rear, I was asked by Lanika if help was needed. I asked to schedule an appointment on a Sunday. She says yes and agrees to service me the next day at 1pm. At 11am of the appointment day, I call the salon to request an earlier appointment. A "co-worker" answers and says Lanika will likely not be there earlier than 1pm, but would call otherwise to notify me. At 12:40pm, I pull into the salon parking area, no one in site yet, but fine since I'm early. A homeless man begins talking to me. At 1:10, I receive a text saying that Lanika wouldn't be in due to her not feeling well. Wtf? I'm wondering when common courtesy and professionalism ever became taboo? My time is valuable and having a baby sitter to watch the kids to only not receive the service is F...ing disturbing to say the least. When did the illness become known? And why text 10 minutes after you're already late? #Common reasons why businesses fail. Poor customer service.
