I took my elderly parent for a shampoo, and I informed the person who answered the phone that I wanted my Mother to get a shampoo and to be put under the head dryer prior to leaving. It would have been nice to say, before taking the appointment, that the head dryers don't get that hot. My mother complained the dryer was not getting warm enough after a while. Of course, I was concerned about her being an elder with a wet head and a cool dryer. It would have been nice if their hair dryers worked properly. The atmosphere was okay. The stylist was very nice and courteous.

This was my first time patronizing this salon. My hair was done by the owner. On the positive she…read morewas very personable, a down right nice person. She did a good job on the touch up relaxer, no complaints. Before doing my hair she said she would be able to lift unwanted color that sometimes happen from coloring and gives the hair a weird tint. After washing and applying the supposed necessary solution, it did not take. She wanted me to again sit under the bowl (very uncomfortable) and repeat the process. I mentioned I was literally freezing in the bowl area and made her aware of the extreme coldness with with wet hair. She said "she should adjust the temperature" but that did not happen. Ultimately, I am now doing my best to stave off a cold and looks like I may lose the battle. ""No hint of any illness in any way prior to getting my hair done. The following day I experienced chills and a sore throat. Bottom line, it is always better to under promise and over deliver than to under deliver and overpromise. Not likely to go back primarily due to frigid climate.

I had a great experience with Erica up until the Covid 19 pandemic. I went there in Oct of 2020 and…read moreafter I told shared with ber during chit chat that I had recently been sick with Covid I was delighted to be able to get my hair done. There was a young lady in the salon that I had not noticed who apparently complained and felt unsafe. I explained to Erica that as per the condition of my release I had to get 2 negative tests in a matter of 1 week but I was still thrown out of the salon. It is note worthy to mention that neither the young lady herself nor Erica did offer proof that both were recently tested and were negative. I was the only person who knew their Covid status as I had gotten testers that very same day oddly enough. I never received an apology from Erica either so I definitely do not recommend as service left to be desired for especially toward a loyal customer.
