I came in hoping for a relaxing salon visit, but the environment here was tense and uncomfortable…read more It was hard not to notice how the manager treated certain staff -- making unnecessary comments about their appearance, like how they "should wear more makeup" or "dress cuter." That's not something customers should have to hear, and it felt petty and unprofessional. What stood out most was how little support employees seemed to get. I even overheard a situation where a staff member calmly tried to raise a concern, and the manager flipped the issue back on them instead of addressing it. It made the whole place feel toxic and poorly managed. If this is how they treat their team, I can only imagine how little they value their customers. I won't be coming back.

I looked at the staff and noticed that no one looked like me, but they said that there are staff there that can handle my hair texture. Just so you know, I have very tightly coiled hair and so a different way of caring for it can be necessary. I made my appointment to myself as a birthday present and others were like you are taking a chance and I let them know that I am keeping my word and giving them a try. Now upon entering the salon, I did receive a smile, not much but nonetheless, I was greeted and proceeded to the back. I was happy about getting the service done and it was a pleasurable experience. I do not think the stylist knew or remembered just how long my appointment was going to be. He seemed to have had to rush through with straightening my hair. It was cute and all, but too poofy. I am used to it being straightened but still beautiful. The visit was pricey and of course it was a setting where they attempted to upsell you by getting you to purchase products. Moral to this story, it is okay to change your mind.

If I have a bad experience at a salon it'll take me 5 years to go back. Envision doesn't have time for all that BS... they are too busy making people beautiful. My stylist was Evette. Evette has been doing this for 25 years and girlllllll she knows her shit. She took one look at my panic when she asked me what I wanted and she took over and gave me exactly what I *needed* - a low maint hair cut that makes me feel beautiful without hours of work and hundreds of dollars. She took off 7 inches of hair total (which we decided to call the dead animal that hung from my beautiful head of hair roflmao), and as you can read... she even joked and cracked with me to help my nervous energy at first hair cut in half a decade. I've never really had an older sister but that's what her energy felt like. She knows her shit, but she'll accomplish the task with a gentle hand and a little sass (exactly what I needed!) Stylist: Danielle I…read moremet Danielle back in December 2017. I was looking for someone to braid my girls hair for Christmas break. It was a very last minute search and I was actually referred to her from her own sister. Normally I like to do research when finding hairstylist, but I was desperate. My girls hair are what some stylists may shy away from because of the length and the texture. Danielle is wonderful! She definitely has the magic touch. You can truly tell she cares about her clients and the health of her the hair. I'm so grateful for her and she now has forever clients. Location: Chapel Hill Road in the same shopping plaza as popcorn depot, shanes rib shack, serenity nail bar, etc. High traffic area. Shop: Nice and cozy. If you are looking for a stylist in the Douglasville area, please see Danielle. She delivers quality results at reasonable prices. You will not be disappointed, I guarantee!

From the moment I sat in the chair, it felt like catching up with a friend. The conversation flowed so easily, and the vibe was just right--warm, welcoming, and full of that good girl talk energy we all need sometimes. But beyond that, what really stood out was how knowledgeable and intentional she was. She didn't just style my hair--she educated me. Every step came with tips, explanations, and honest advice about how to care for my hair in between appointments. It wasn't rushed or surface-level. She genuinely wanted me to leave not just looking good, but feeling confident in how to keep it that way. If you're looking for a salon where you can be yourself, have real conversations, and actually learn about your hair in the process--this is it. Let's not forget to mention, my hair is 10 outta 10! I will NEVER go back…read more So on the website, Instagram and FB, they advertise a 'Monday- Wednesday' special which is $35 for a relaxer. I SPECIFICALLY called the Douglasville location and spoke to "Shakira". Shakira informed me "oh she hasn't updated the website nor the FB page. We stopped doing that around the holidays." Huh? What? I then told her "since it is on the website, will you honor it? Yes or no? It was posted on Wednesday. Today is Monday. There is no expiration date." She flat out told me "I mean, I don't honor it, but some new stylists may honor it, you would have to talk to them." Say wha???? I was FLOORED!!!! Since when does a company say "we will not honor the advertisement that the owner posted on THREE different media outlets???" She further explained that stylists use the promotion to build their client base but then said "my client base is pretty set so I don't need to." This woman absolutely said she would not honor it, pretended to take my name and number and said "I will have someone call you back." Honeychild, it is 6:11pm and I still don't have a phone call. I called the other two locations (Lithia Springs and Hiram) SEVEN times to try and see if they would honor it. The website said all three are open 7 days a week. I never got a hold of anyone until around 2:00 for the Hiram location, the woman in Hiram said she would honor it. (Lithia Springs never answered but apparently they are open???) But then she informed me while she was doing my hair that there is an extra fee for a style. Mind you, I got a relaxer, so you're telling me that it is extra to have it flat ironed???? Just a simple flat ironed style. Bottom line- between the shady false promotion that these stylists won't honor, the extra fee for my hair to be flat ironed after a style-- the end result is a "oh hell no". There are tooooooo many salons in Atlanta for me to deal with this mess. I will not go back, I will recommend, I simply will take my money, my time, and my reviews elsewhere. PS- this review will be posted on IG, and Yelp. I am that pissed. Enve needs to get it together!!!

The photos show the absolutely CRAZY transformation of my hair under these skilled stylists. Instead of wanting to put a bag over my head, I am over the moon when I look in a mirror now. Vivian has been doing hair since the 1980s, and she is truly a GENIUS. She was careful, ensuring that the bleach did not fry my hair, and she had the best ideas.
