Caylee was really nice and did an excellent job on cutting my haIr. My wife and I both got our haircuts at the same time. Caylee knows how i like my hair to look. This is a good place for haircuts. My wife and I were both in and out without much downtime. Good Job Great Clips !! read more

Staff is very friendly. I would advise to utilize their online checkin for a smoother process. My stylist was amazing and paid attention to what I wanted for my haircut. I will definitely come back again and also bring my kids in. I would recommend:) read more

I have been here a few times myself for trims and always had a good experience. The cut I get here seems completely equal to the cuts I get for $60 elsewhere. I decided to write a review because I took my 2 year old in, after 3 previous (horrible hair cuts) by one of those cutesy kids places for double the price. This was a much quicker experience, and the hair cut was superior. They let me hold her, gave her a special cape, and she got a lollipop after. I couldn't be happier with the experience. Thank you ladies, for your work during a pandemic. read more

Great Clips is just that!! Great. I've never had a disappointing haircut and have used them exclusively since they first opened in Denton at Carroll Blvd! The online checking saves so much time. My hair is cut as I request and that is quite short. Estella is the young lady who cuts my hair at the Rayzor Ranch location. She always remembers how I like it cut. She listened to what I requested Thank you, Estella. Several even call me by name when they see me walk in. That gives me a great feeling. Great customer service. Love when you publish and send coupons. They really help. read more

I love this place so much .. it was my first time getting a haircut from a public place because my mom would always cut my hair and I had long hair but when I left I loved the way my hair looked I was going for like a pixie cut but not sorta a pixie cut. The girls were super nice to me and were complimenting my new hair they made me feel welcome, I would definitely recommend this place!!! read more

This is the first review I've ever written on Yelp, but I felt compelled to due to the great experience I had. The staff was very friendly and accommodating; great customer service. I have very fine thin hair that I'm trying to grow out. I've had my hair butchered a few different times so I'm always apprehensive about getting a trim. Tammy, my stylist, listened and did exactly as I requested. She made me feel very comfortable and suggested some products to help my hair. I will definitely be going to this Great Clips again! Thank you for outstanding service! read more

Just plain brutal! 1st Round of questioning (just signing in): Name? Address? Phone number? Email? How did you hear about us? Shampoo? Ugh..... 2nd Round (in the chair): How do you normally get your hair cut? How do you wear your hair? Clippers or scissors? Do you wear it spiked up? Shampoo? What the hell?!! Just cut my hair. If I knew how to do it, I would not come in here. Judas Priest! read more

I started going to Great Clips on Teasley when I first moved to Denton 6 years ago. It was close to me and very convenient, also offered a senior discount. But the last three times I've been, I've had three different stylists and after leaving, I had to book with another stylist in a different salon to fix the awful mess they made of my hair. Today I tried telling the stylist several times that she'd left it too long and too bushy, but she ignored me and was ready to move on to her next customer. I left her a very good tip, in spite of that. But I will never go back. read more

I have never once posted on Yelp but yet here I am. Cristina did an amazing job on my hair and beard. I am always paying $60+ on haircuts but yet you have this much talent in the shadows. I'll be coming back for sure. read more

This is where I now take my boys. They are 3 and 7, so if you're a woman looking for info on a stylist, this review isn't going to help you. BUT...if you have a 7 year old that likes his hair done in a surfer cut or a 3 year old that has kicked and screamed in the chair (sigh)...then this review might help. We've had two stylists now that handled my terrible toddler well. In fact, the last girl was so good with him that he wasn't terrible. He just sat with his fists clenched while she cooed and teased him. The other stylists did well at getting the "spikey on top but short on the side" surfer cut that my oldest likes. They always seem to be moderately busy, even on weekdays, but you can call ahead and put your name in. One guy put his name in over the phone and between every waiting customer, they called his name, just in case he had arrived. (I never saw him, but it was nice to see them honoring their policy.) read more

I took my son and nephew to get a haircut and take advantage of the $6.99 summer special. The girls cutting their hair were great. They talked to the boys and made them feel welcome. I had just gotten a hair cut a couple of days ago and asked if they could tell if my hair was evenly cut. Alex, the girl cutting my boys hair said she would be happy to take a look. As it turns out I did have an uneven side. She gladly fixed the problem for no charge and did it with a happy heart. I will go to this Great Clips from now on and ask for Alex. read more

I have thick indian hair and most places do not like to work with my hair because it takes a while to cut and style. The lady was very helpful and courteous. She was attentive and gave me a good haircut. read more

Clean shop, good service... Take my boys, 5 & 9, and they always come away with a good haircut. I have had mine cut by Emily. She did a great job and was very friendly. Probably the best cut I received recently from a chain. Price is ok, but I had a coupon, which made it worth it. read more

My stylist was Sarah R. I just moved back to Denton so I was apprehensive about getting a trim by someone new. I've been trying to grow my hair from a bob, and have been taking very good care of it, but I have all but accepted that at least an inch and a half must come off every three months because of the "evening it out" process. There was no wait. I walked in and got seated immediately. I was all ready to beg for her to try to be modest with the amount of hair that came off and to not be too scissor-happy, but I only got as far as "I'm trying to grow it out-" before she chirped "Honestly your hair is super healthy, I'm going to give you a baby trim and cut off only what you need!" Those words were music to my ears. She even told me it was slightly longer in the front but it wasn't noticeable. She cut off like half a centimeter. Honestly she earned herself a long term customer, and I am willing to drive the extra 20 minutes every three months to have her cut my hair. I have never met a hairstylist that honest. So if you need a trim-this place is great! read more

I'm not one to write reviews normally, however, when someone's confidence gets destroyed from a simple "TRIM", that's when I'll say something. I came here today to get a bang trim. Nothing drastic, half an inch to get my hair out of my eyes. The lady, didn't get her name, didn't care to. She was young, and didn't look too confident when bringing the scissors to my hair. CUT them, above my eyebrows. I also mentioned my hair was straightened, so cut a little at a time, right?! Nope, she went for it. Paid & went to my car. Came back in, told them I wasn't happy, I was really upset. Had someone else "touch up" the ends so they didn't look so choppy, and even more length was taken off. I got my money back, and was sent away. To say I'm absolutely devastated, is an understatement. My hair is where my confidence is, and you really messed with that. I had to immediately go out and buy headbands because I knew I'd be wearing one at least for the next couple weeks. I won't be returning, I also suggest going somewhere ELSE for a bang trim. Don't let someone ruin your confidence like this. You'll regret it. read more

They were super friendly, fast and very efficient. My son said it was the best hair cut he's ever had. He was very happy with the fact she actually listened to what he wanted and did that exactly. We will definitely go back for his hair cuts. read more
