I am so disappointed in this place. I've gone here on a regular basis because my hands fall asleep easily from carpool tunnel and only ask for basic trims because I'm skeptical. We'll last night I finally went in and got an asymmetrical hair cut and got to know Vanessa and another girl there. They were super sweet and were nice enough to stay late to blow dry it. Well, today I straightened it which btw I'm not happy they charged for styling when all they did was blow dry it. (can't really complain with that though)... Anyway, as I'm straightening it I notice that it's uneven. The closer I get to the top, the more choppy and uneven the LONG SIDE is!!!!!!!!! The top layer of my hair is literally chopped off as if I have a pixie cut!!!!!!!!!!!!! There is no way to correct this mistake unless they cut it all off and its going to take me years to grow it out!!!! And I have to work tomorrow with a terrible haircut with people from corporate to meet with me!!!!!! I will NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!!!!!! DO NOT GO TO VANESSA!!!!!!!!!!! Don't get me wrong, im a nice person but I trusted you and you completely ruined my hair and now I can't stop crying. I called and spoke with Vanessa and shes like come back in and I'll fix it???? Actual haircut is just average, but the customer service and professionalism are sorely lacking! I generally stay away from this location due to prior experiences with one particularly obnoxious stylist. I was in desperate need of a trim and short on time so I stopped by. Believe me it will be my LAST visit! Let's just say some of these stylists gossip about prior customers-- ones who smelled bad, had lice or knots in their hair, etc. Maybe they don't identify by name but it is still unprofessional! They need to get a clue and keep it to themselves. Or at least save it for the break room! Don't air it out on the floor to your customers! We came in for a cut for two of my kids around 5:30-5:45 on Sunday 02.10.2019 (checked in online). The ladies that cut my kids hair were just great, no complaints there. My real issue here was with the lady that was at the front desk cleaning up (pitch black straight hair with two piercings around her mouth). She was anything but happy to be there, she threw the cordless phone at one of the other ladies working, checking in people and barked at her to charge it. She then proceeded to collect the outdoor signs and came back in huffing and puffing, very upset she got her shoes wet and she was very vocal about that (it had been raining but not at that particular moment), she was mumbling out of frustration about everything. She then started shouting out to the entire salon who the "Monster" drink can belonged to that was left at the front desk and said if no one one speaks up she's tossing it, the lobby was full of people waiting for cuts. She then starts starts complaining they have a long list of people waiting, proceeds to stomping around the lobby chucking magazines and chairs she brought in from outside. This lady made the entire lobby very uncomfortable and to be quite honest she made me very nervous, everyone kind of stayed silent as to not bother this lady while she was cleaning up but that's not how we should be made to feel coming in for a simple cut. Lastly, her attire was inappropriate, her top was was too low and revealing, her cleavage was past the modesty point and her customer service skills left very little to be desired. read more

After driving too far away for my regular stylist one time too many, I decided to try the local Great Clips a few years ago. After meeting all the girls and having each one cut my hair and making notes on how I like it and don't like it-I think I've found a permanent place to go. I got a haircut about 2 weeks ago. My hair hadn't been cut in a while and was long over due for one. I saw some reviews on yelp and decided to give it a try. I love this place! It's clean, customer service great and the wait time is not long at all. The vibe of the place is very friendly and energetic. The ladies are nice and will chat with you while your hair is getting done. The woman that cut my hair Stephanie (I believe that was her name) was very nice. My lovely fiance decided it would be a good idea to cut his own hair a month before our wedding and did a total hack job on it. I finally found a stylist who can cut an A-line and she's moving! I went here for the first time today and Teri took care of me. I appreciate her knowledge and experience, not to mention her friendly attitude and cheerful conversation. I had a much better experience here than most super-trendy, expensive salons I've been to. I went to Great Clips like I normally do for myself and daughters hair. All of their staff is very friendly and welcoming. But my last experience there was a great one. Morgan, who gave me a cut and style new exactly how I wanted my hair to be, fuller, more body, etc. I came in a few weeks prior and it wasn't short enough. I've been going to this place for years (because its local, convenient) and it's never the same. It's a hit or miss depending on the day, who helps you, or what mood they're in. Having said that, when I walked in for a haircut I was dismissed and told, that I could not be helped. Since I had not signed in online and because they were close to closing, at 8:50pm on Tuesday. As far as I knew businesses always have helped if it's in the "OPEN" time frame. I've been to stores and never have they not let me in because they are "almost" closing. My advice is don't say you're Open until 9pm if you're not willing to assist someone before that. In addition, we can't always "sign in" so be more customer service friendly. read more

I've been a customer for a long time, but will now be changing to another location. Employees no longer answer the phone. I like to call to see if my preferred stylist is there, but now I get only an automated answering service which only allows customers to leave a message. It says to wait for someone to answer, but after trying for over an hour, I've found that NO ONE ever answers, I just get routed to the voice mail after waiting forever. Very pleased with my hair cut! I really like that for the price, I can get a simple and decent trim without a pretentious price charged to only women! This is my second time here and both times I got in, got my a good hair cut, and then was done. My stylist (sorry I forgot your name, you were so sweet!) did exactly what I asked, gave me an honest assessment for my hair and cut my hair without a fuss. I have frizzy hair and she took that into account when she cut my hair which is nice, no hard sale, just cut and done. Unfortunately, I didn't get the name of my stylist but she's a young Hispanic woman with long, black hair, very sweet. She did exactly what I asked her to. I wish I would have taken a before picture. It was just all one length, very flat, no volume and boring. I just wanted layers to add body and volume. They have a special going on 6.99 haircuts! Have been to this salon several times because both my son and husband get there hair cuts here. Over this past weekend I had checked my son in online so I can just walk in and be serviced right away. When my son goes to be seated I realize he needs a diaper change pretty bad so I told the lady please give me one sec to change his diaper it literally took me maybe not even a min to change him. I walk out of the restroom to find both hair stylist including the one that was seating my son had taken people. Then neither one of them had the decency to say we will be with you asap. I am so happy to find this outstanding salon! I had a horrible experience a while back with a hairdresser who chopped my hair to a quarter of an inch all around before I realized what was happening. I have quite a mess on my hands, so researched and found this shop with really good reviews. I went this morning and was greeted by Karen who immediately sympathized with the mess I was in and was painstakingly patience with listening to my goals of where I wanted my hair to be, and assured me she could get me there with no problems. She proceeded to trim my hair and miraculously got my hair into a very cute cut that left my very fine, thin, (now extremely short) hair with loads of volume. It went right into a very cute style I can happily live with while it regrows into the style I use to have and want again. I am so thankful for her confidence and skill as it put me right at ease. I checked my son in online for this location because it only had an estimated 18 minute wait time vs all the other locations nearby in Ontario and Magnolia with over an hour wait time. Now I know why this specific location had such a short wait time. 1. Their Online check in feature didn't work and failed to check us in even after showing the idiot that I chose the right location and the screen where I had checked in earlier before I came to the location. 2. The idiot that I was dealing with didn't even have an explanation as to what may have happened nor did she even offer any other option to help us get checked in physically for my son to get a haircut. She looked liked an idiot deer in headlights. Probably shouldn't refence a deer as idiotic it was just her the idiot looking like an idiot in headlights. My hair hadn't been cut in over a year and I am a hair twirler so it was in pretty bad shape. I decided to go ahead and do something about it and after 2 and 1/2 inches of dead ends chopped off and some razor layers, it finally looks healthy again!! I am very satisfied, there was only about a 3 minute wait, and my stylist did a great job (I forget her name :-( I'm sorry!!!). For only $13, you can't beat the quality you will receive here. I've been going to this hair salon for over 4 years and the only person that I trust to cut my hair is Karen. She worked magic on a choppy mess that was supposed to be a pixie cut and turned it into a wonderful haircut that I recieved dozens of compliments on. Ever since then, I've gotten every haircut from her and they always come out wonderful. She's super friendly, outgoing and just overall amazing. Karen has been cutting my hair over those 4 years and has worked with my ever changing hairstyles from long bobs to pixie cuts.
