4956-16 Le Chalet Blvd Boynton Beach, Florida location. I just got my hair DESTROYED here so badly that I have to shave my head. There is no way of fixing it. I have a standard men's side part haircut. Number 3 shears on the sides to about 1.5 inches above my ears and then blended with my hair on top using scissors. I have had the same cut for decades and gotten it cut from many places over the years and no one has ever had any issues doing the cut. This afternoon I had my head shaved with number 3 guard on electric clippers (on the side where my part used to be when there was hair there) all the way up to the top of my head...literally the top of my head and just on that one side! So, one side of my head is shaved as short as the sides of my head to the top of my head and on the other side it hangs down to where it should have been on both sides... (I look like Zorg from the 5th Element!) Only suggestion made was to blend it up more on the side that still has hair. No apology, only excuses and blaming my hair color and my hair thickness, etc... I have lived with my hair, hair color, and cut for decades I know what's possible and common when cutting my hair... I have no idea what the stylist was thinking..., but now I have to shave my head and wear a ball cap in public for at least a month and a half. I will NEVER EVER return here and may never go to ANY Great Clips again! read more

I've been coming here for a while. The main reason I come here is A. I don't have much hair so it's not hard to cut and B. I can add myself to the list with their app and see wait times so I almost never wait more than a couple of minutes. However this last haircut was the worst haircut I have probably ever had in my life. Came on a Thursday afternoon. Only one lady working. She seemed to have a bit of an attitude based on what I saw with the previous customer. Like I said I don't have much hair, it doesn't take that long, but if it took her 5min it was probably too long. I really have no idea what she actually did, she didn't even trim the hair around my ears which is the hardest part. Literally my girlfriend does a better job when she cuts my hair in the patio with the dog trimmer. Never again. At least not if this lady is cutting hair. Not sure how she was even hired. read more

I usually get my haircut from Supercuts but take my dad to this great clips location for a haircut every couple of months. This location is on the corner of Woolbright and military trail in Boynton Beach. The employees here very efficient and if you check in ahead on the app the wait time is minimal. They usually have at least two people working and we usually go late evenings so we have never got the rush hour crowd. Along with a great haircut they also provide shampoo and other services for a minimum price. Seniors get a $5 discount compared to the younger lot. Nice place with excellent customer service. The store is always super clean and immaculate which is important as haircuts can be a messy business. read more

Didn't have a good experience here. I've been to many great clips with my dog in a closed stroller and never had a problem. This older lady at this location said she was the manager and did not allow dogs. No sign out that say no dogs allowed or anything. I was fine to leave but she kept arguing with me when I was leaving. I don't know if she was angry that my mom decided to not get a hair cut there but the customer service is horrible. With that lady there, I'm not going to be surprised if they get anyone wanting to get a haircut. read more

Poorly run business. The Walmart of haircuts the cheapest of the cheap. I'm done with this place. Not worth the $6 I'm savings to go here. Costs $14 for a hair but and I can go to a barber for $20. My locks needed a cut and I stopped in here tonight. Minna, the stylist, did an excellent job taking care of me and making sure I was happy with my cut. She kept it long layered by request and was in no rush to get me out of there by the time the shop closed. I got a frequent visitor card that can be used for each visit and the haircut is on the house with the 9th visit. I went to Great Clips the first time when they opened a couple of years ago. The young lady that cut my hair did a wonderful job. I was so excited! I live within walking distance and it's cheap. By the time my hair had to be cut again, this young lady was no longer there. I have been back a few times, letting some months go by to see if there are any changes. Every time It's been awful. The "stylists" are so busy talking to each other and joking around, it's a wonder they can even hear what you want. Every time I leave there unhappy and vowing not to go back. I was debating whether to get my hair cut but found I had 45 minutes on my hands since the store I was going to was not open as early as I thought since it was Sunday. I saw the Great Clips signs, $14 hair cut. That was perfect. I was taken within 10 minutes and had Crystal as my stylist. She was wonderful. She asked how I wanted my hair cut, and I was very specific. I also asked her if she would be able to use a straight edge razor instead of scissors and she was very accommodating. I finally found some time to get a haircut It was 2 :15 on Tue and nobody was in the shop so I was psyched to step right up get it done and then get home. Joanne greeted me and we agreed to "clean me up". At these cut rate pardon the pun haircut shops you usually get a new person each time and I suppose you get what you pay for. She said she's been a hairdresser since she was 16 roughly 30 year's I would surmise so how bad could it be..The whole haircut process took about 5 minutes as I don't have much on top any longer lol and these folks are trained to work quickly to do volume regardless of whether it's busy or not I presume. She actually did a decent job with the scissors but for some inexplicable reason without asking she just decided to trim my eyebrows. I don't have bushy or wild brows at all and if I see something going on there I yank it myself. Mostly hair cutters don't bother with this on me. So ok I'm done but I thought it odd that she didn't take a mirror up and show me around my head but hey a haircut is a haircut is a haircut and I have used this shop before with no complaints except its 14 dollars now and It seems they have gone up a couple times in the last year it but it is still quite affordable and with a couple dollar tip I'm out the door and home by 3. Long sentence huh. I then decide to shave and OMG whoah holy batsht she completely shaved off my left eyebrow I mean bald like a drag queen wtf ..I go back there at 5 I'm fuming this is gross, it's embarrassing and I'm going to be the butt of jokes and humiliated for who knows how long it takes to grow eyebrows back.
