Paula is really good at men's cuts I highly recommend her. Went in after almost 5 months without a haircut and I usually get a fade and she did just that. I usually go to barber shops but none were open today or they were completely booked and I was desperate for a hair cut so I figured i would try great clips for the first time in like 10 years. Our mom is 82, has dementia, and moves very slowly with a walker. She is wonderful and is adored, but for some, she is a lot. Today YESSICA was her stylist. I gave her no heads-up and did not hover. Terrible service. Checked in via their app, which said I had a 25 minute wait. I arrived 15 minutes later and proceeded to wait for an hour before giving up with several people still ahead of me. The only explanation provided was that the manager had just gone to lunch. read more

Used to be pretty efficient, but the last 6 months or so this location seems to always be very behind and the app for making an appointment is horrible! No sense of urgency either. Maybe my luck but always seems to be short handed, or someone going on a break or lunch with a room full of people! Staffing issues all the time. The women working here are nice and are good at what they do. They are tolerant and able to give haircuts to squirmy, tantrum-throwing toddlers, and the haircuts turn out well! The trick is to check in on their app ahead of time so you can minimize your in person waiting time. Check for coupons in the mail flyers to make it an even better deal. read more

Loud annoying woman didn't even try to cut my hair evenly. I had to repart my hair and show her it was 3 inches longer on one side. She needed prompting to make sure it didn't look like she cut it with a buzz saw. Still ended up with a poor cut. read more

Just got my hair cut by Amanda. She was professional, fun to talk to, and great at her job. I came in unsure of what I wanted - all I knew was I wanted a chop and a but of a change. She guided me with layers, length, and even gave me beautiful curtain bangs. I would 100% recommend Amanda to anyone who asks. She met me where I was and used her expertise to give me exactly what I wanted - even if I wasn't sure what that was at first. We chopped off 10 inches, and I feel amazing! Came in today with past my bra strap hair that had taken me 7 years to grow out. I wanted to trim off the ends and get some movement. It was suggested I go below the collar bone and above the breast line and put in some layers for the movement. I warned my stylist that my hair shrinks way the heck up when it's dry. She dismissed me saying my hair wasn't that curly. My hair barely, barely comes to my collar bone *after* I flat ironed it, it was shoulder length before the iron. My hair is wavy and that's why it shrinks up when it dries. You can see the layers in the back and the front is missing a chunk against my face. I was just in shock for a good 3 hours afterwards. The Mr. Says it looks like a child cut my hair in the back. It will take me 3 years to grow back the extra that was chopped off because my hair grows super slow. I will wait however long it takes to get in with my regular stylist from now on. Lesson learned. Learn from my mistake. read more

I arrived after making an appointment online, I walk in and a snippety chick blurts out " did you check in, did you check in?" I said no, because I consider making an appointment and checking in as two different things so she charges over to the register with a sarcastic "good morning ". Then as I'm clicking on my name on the computer, she proceeds to say, oh, you told me you hadn't checked in, I JUST asked you that. Omg, like I do not need or want or deserve such an ATTITUDE just for walking into a business. I held up my hand. Palm up and just walked out without saying a word. Checked in online which showed a 40 minute wait time. As I arrived I was informed that there was people ahead of me and that there was only one stylist on the floor but corporate was speaking to her in the back. After 20 minutes I overheard someone else that was waiting say she had already been waiting 30 minutes. The women behind the desk was very friendly and continually offered apologies for the wait. Eventually the stylist did come back and began cutting hair. I've never been in an establishment that has a meeting with employees that does not either close their store while it is happening or make sure they have proper staff to serve customers while they are having their meeting. Poor corporate management in my opinion. Displaced several customers, myself included. Very long wait times for very simple hair cuts. Understaffed establishments and over worked stylists. My stylist was very polite and friendly. She greeted everyone with a happy attitude and efficiently cut hair. She kept a clean station and offered many tips and suggestions to her clients. Overall happy with the stylist but definitely unsatisfied with poor corporate management. read more

Great clips??... more like Greatest Clips! Love taking my boys here to get their hair done. The women and men who work here are always very friendly and professional. There is a ton of Turn over here, (from what I hear is they don't pay very well) so it's hard to have someone who knows you and knows the little tricks to get the hair perfect. But I have never had a stylist who was not warm, friendly, and helpful. read more

Today I went to have my hair cut. I asked for 2 inches off the length and layered. Donna Buchanan trimmed off the bottom and then went around my head and layered the bottom of my hair. She said do you want me to Blow dry it, I said no are you done. She said Yes, I told her that I wanted it more layered, Donna proceeds to tell me she already layered it as she is holding my hair going around my head like she is showing me how she cut it. I said ok I will just go somewhere else to cut my hair. She says well because your hair is curly I didn't want to layer it anymore. I said that's ok I'll have my hair cut somewhere else. She is still trying to explain why. She asks me where I am gonna go have my hair cut. I said somewhere else. My husband is already paying and she says I guess I could cut some more. I said No thanks I'll go somewhere else. It's my hair if I wanted it layered more, I would think she would have done what I wanted, I was there for a service. I don't think I have ever had someone argue with me about how I want my hair. So Donna next time someone asks for there hair cut do what they want. The customer is ALWAYS right!!! I went to Woodys to see if he cld help me fix what this chop shop did to my sons hair and Ron ACTUALLY knows how to cut a child's hair! He was shocked at how choppy it was not to mention the bald spots! He did what he cld to fix the damage (looks SO much better) and didn't even charge me! Not so Great Clips Checked in using the app to save time. Original wait time was 31 minutes... great. Then after 10 minutes it said 45 minutes wait time.. still ok. Then it's finally my time or at least that's what the app said. Go in to salon and am told that there's still 15 minutes but I'm the next in line. So I go next door, get a coffee come back and am told there's 2 people ahead of me and they aren't even there yet.. so another 30-40 minutes! SERIOUSLY!!! What a waist of my time. read more
