I really wanted to like this place, but that was not the case…read more When I walked in, there was no one visible, I had to wait for a few minutes before being greeted. The store was very quiet, I was unsure if someone was in the shop, altogether. Once greeted, it wasn't warm (that's okay), it was more matter-of-fact. Italian Cream Cake: This happens to be one of my favorite cakes, and I couldn't wait to take it home to enjoy. Well, what do I know, it was not edible. Well, I suppose it depends on what you feel is edible vs. not edible. I took two bites and felt like I was eating a Tres Leches cake (the consistency of, definitely not the taste), if I wanted that, I would have chosen a place that is known for desert. After those two bites, I threw it away. Pecan Tart: What was this? Think of a pecan pie, that's what you found under the fruit. I don't know how to describe what that was under it, but it wasn't good and did not compliment the fruit of pecans. I can only assume the cake sat for a bit due to the level of moistness, unfortunately. I will not visit again, but as with most things, I'd suggest trying it for yourself.

Hubby and I have frequented this location since it opened. Always great service and the custard…read morealone is delicious, but inconsistent. I have bought pints of butter pecan that was either almost all pecans, almost all custard and 3 pecans in the entire pint. Then pints that had melted and refrozen. This last visit, instead of the fully packed pint, it had a large scooped dent in it. Now, in spite of issues this location has always promptly replaced pints with issues. It happens, but this last visit, even the new replacement pint had a spoon-sized dent in it. Out of the dozens of pints we have purchased, we have NEVER observed this. It's becoming concerning that someone is currently helping themselves to the products. So I will be going to a different Andy's.

Huge rip off. Wanted to like it; but ngl it was probably the worst boba tea I've ever had, in the…read moresmallest amount; yet the highest price I've ever paid. I got a dirty creme brulee milk tea with coconut milk, which costs a dollar more--and it was literally not much different then getting a glass of ice and pouring about 10 oz of lightly sweetened vanilla coconut milk over the ice, stick in a straw and call it a day. No additional flavor. For 8 bucks the (maybe?) 7 boba pearls at the bottom arent worth it. The salted cheese foam with the burnt sugar on top was the highlight; that was good but there was so little of it; its just an altogether stupid outrageous price for what it was. Outside of a coupon or a special, which i doubt these places really do all that much; i probably wont be back. There's happy lemon and a couple other Boba shops nearby that have to be better than something that isnt really different than reg grocery store coconut milk from the carton over ice..

My wife is from Chicago and I lived there for 30 years. We've enjoyed Rainbow Cone for a very long time and now that we live in Texas, we're so happy to see them here. I understand they will be expanding in the metroplex as well. Possibly even a Buona Beef / Rainbow Cone combo. We had our small dog with us today, so we used their large outdoor space and sat at one of their round tables, each with a large umbrella for shade. My wife had the Junior Cone and I had the regular size Original Rainbow Cone. We both very much enjoyed them. And our dog got a few licks of my cone too :) Thank you for bringing an amazing "taste of Chicago" to Texas! And we just learned that Seniors (65+) get half-off (except on cake), Monday - Friday, 11 am to 5 pm. Wow - real nice. We'll be back.
