If you are bringing computers, you will earn more if you separate the motherboard, hard drive, etc. Check their hours on the website before going since they do not match what is on google maps. We went on a Saturday (hours: 8 am-12 pm) and it was busy. I assume it would be less busy during the week. Most employees interacting with customers are wearing masks but not all of them. They found this place which takes all those items. Anything that you can't put out for regular garbage pickup can be thrown away here. They even take food scraps for composting, shoes & clothes. You have to show ID to prove that you are a resident and it's FREE! The first time you come, it's a little confusing where you have to go to dispose of your items, but the staff will let you know if you're throwing things in the wrong bin and will direct you to where you need to go.

The staff here are friendly and the center convenient for the items that cannot or shouldn't go in the weekly trash pickup.

I can't even begin to tell you how joyful it was. Nowadays, everyone seems to be working on a very short fuse and finding anyone that is kind and patient is getting harder and harder. Dennis was just such a person. I am getting ready to move to Burlington (cue sad music now) and as I am slowly going insane with packing, I am finding more & more broken electronics that honestly have me wondering if I need to contact that TV show Hoarders. For real. I have a 42" TV, a 20" monitor, 2 computer keyboards, an old wifi router, a broken wii, a broken Hello Kitty alarm clock (don't diss the Kitty!) and an entire shopping bag filled with various plugs and cords. I wanted to take this to a recycling center myself however I have a fondness for compact cars & the TV just wouldn't fit. I didn't want to just dump the TV because I care about where I live & I know that TVs have a lot of toxic parts to them. I went online to get some advice (thank you Nextdoor) and was told about Anything with a Plug. I went online to visit their site & wow. It was SUPER easy to make the appointment & to prepay online with zero issue. They have a form to fill out but only if you need to declare what you are recycling. I found this out after I'd filled it all in. No worries, had a laugh with Dennis about it. I made the appointment via a phone call & all of this, chatting with a caring business owner, paying online, and the truckload of junk....all of this is costing me the low cost of $40. Yep. You heard me right. Dennis is coming by to pick all of this stuff up from my home....for $40. Y'all...if you have ever read any of my reviews you know that I will jump up and down trying to get anyone to listen & use a good local service. Well....here I am, got my jumpin' shoes on. If you have ANY electronics that need to go to recycling, why not take them to Dennis. Or, if you are like me, and hail to the compact car, give him a call! Give him your business! When I first set up my service, they missed my house for 2 months every single week. I called every week to schedule a pick up, and then they wouldn't even promise to come for 72 hours. After 72 hours they wouldn't come, and then it was another 72 hours until my actual trash day arrived....which they never showed up to. Fast forward to 6 years, i have had intermittent service during this whole time. Some weeks they will come, others they won't. Whenever I call the office to complain, the customer service person (who is very kind) says they will ask the supervisor to call me. They have NEVER called me back. This last week, they missed my trash pick up, I called, complained, they said they would pick it up that same day, they didn't, I called again, asked to speak to the supervisor, they put in a request, I didn't get a call, and they also missed my pick up AGAIN. It has now been weeks, and I have THREE BAGS of trash sitting on my PORCH because my can is so full. This has happened so often, and sometimes I will walk outside and see that animals have opened the trash bags, and then there is open trash all over my porch. It's truly caused me so many headaches over the years. The only reason I have stayed is because there is NO other company offering service in this area. I am about to cancel my service this week. I've had enough. At least then I know they will be guaranteed to pick up my trash.

The trash would still sit out at the curb for days before pick up, even after making several calls to customer service and sending requests for missed pick ups. I keep trying to figure out what the issue is why this keeps happening, but no one can give me an answer as to why dispatch is missing my pick ups so frequently. My trash is always in the right location with the right content and is always put outside the day before my scheduled pick up date. There are no excuses for why this keeps happening. I am seriously considering changing to a different waste collection company. This company does not have good customer service and apparently does not value their customers. I am fed up!

The woman on the phone started asking a series of questions about "paperwork," who I worked for, and whether I was a mechanic shop instead of simply answering a basic pricing inquiry. A few minutes later, my father called and asked to speak with a manager. Despite previously being told that a price could be given with the serial number, the manager spoke very quickly, in a confusing and roundabout manner, and continued treating my father like he was doing something wrong simply for asking about pricing. At most other scrap yards or catalytic converter buyers, you can provide the serial number or send photos by text or email and receive a general price estimate. That's standard practice in the industry. Instead, we were essentially told we would need to drive all the way there just to inquire about value, only to be casually told it might be worth around $100. This is not how professional businesses treat potential customers. The communication was dismissive, unhelpful, and unnecessarily suspicious. I would strongly recommend other sellers call around before dealing with this company.
