-Quick (20 minutes or less, even when I stopped in after work at 5:15!) -Cost effective...any minute after 20 minutes = 1 dollar off (1 minute = 1 dollar, etc) -Friendly as ever -Informative and NO pressure to get the additional items! The mechanic stopped periodically to give me status updates about the work. -I will be back and I would definitely suggest this place if you're looking for basic car services (oil, brakes, etc read more

I could have gotten a full oil change with all of my fluids checked & my next change alert for $59 at a Nissan dealership but instead my Maxima cost $101 to get only the oil change & my window cleaned at this location I will never be back! read more

Great service by Marcos and Demar!! Quick oil change and very helpful! Will come back.

Professional always polite and efficient. Definitely recommend and affordable. Never a problem will definitely be back.

Good and fast service Marcos, Casey, Stewart, Antonio were awesome and provided an excellent service.

I've gone to Grease Monkey several times over the past 10 years or so, and they are always quick and efficient. One thing I've noticed is even though the crew changes over time (as would be expected, people come & go), the process for handling the oil change and the quality of service doesn't change. From my experience, this is a well-run shop and I appreciate the work they do. Thank you! read more

I needed a regular oil change and drove right in. The gentleman got right to work and everyone there was super friendly. Not only did they do an oil change quickly, but the guy also figured out why my wipers weren't working and fixed it for mE! Score! VERY helpful. I live next to Gurnee, but I'd still drive a few extra minutes to go here again rather to Jiffy Lube or my car dealership. Thanks guys! read more

Very great customer service really made me feel like they care about your car made me feel S confident bring my car here read more

Alfonso and Sean were such great help and very kind to help me out with the correction in my tire pressure.

Love the guys who work here. Always friendly, helpful with quick and efficient service. Highly recommended!

Great service. Joey put a lot of time and effort into cleaning some particularly stubborn spots off of my mom's windshield while she was getting her oil changed. read more

Went for an oil change for my car, and was delighted by the friendliness and fast service. They didn't have the oil filter for my vehicle, so they went out and got it instead of refusing service. Oil change took less than 20mins without the wait for the oil filter. Will was the person that helped me out, and he walked me through the process; going to buy the oil filter, etc. The price was a bit expensive for full synthetic oil and service, but was worth it with the excellent customer service. read more

Super nice and helpful service. I was in and out for an oil change today. Tyce and Jesus are great!

Been a Grease Monkey customer for 7 years, since I moved from AZ. ALL DONE. The locations are all filthy. The employees "uniforms" are covered in oil and car filth. The floors and walls are slippery and smeared with greasy fingerprints. The marketing banners are wrinkled and un-readable. Are you getting a sense of things? Lack of "give a shit" and no management or regional/corporate people checking up and putting some mandates in order other than.. "make sure you 'up sell' the $59. oil clean up system" - WHAT? Yep, a 5 minute douche, $59. and a Cabin filter $39. on top of the synthetic oil change of $60 for an SUV.. let's see.. pushing $160.. but wait.. there's a coupon.. $10. off.. Thanks.. But, there's popcorn.. yeah, mix that in with the stale coffee and the greasy car filth... I'm done. Looking for a new place now, for car #2.. Hey corporate. Are you reading this?? Here's some quick notes for your next "retreat" 2019 Initiatives: - Clean locations - Paint walls - Degrease the floors - Paint - Have spouses/life partners do inspections of lobby, toilets and other public access areas - Employees where NEW clean uniforms or change - Employee tuck in your shirts - Male employees shave - Keep your personal "story" of your party, drunk weekend in employee only areas - Focus on the customers not yourself - Have a coupon for the Back & Forth - 2 cars, 3 cars, 4 cars in a day.. - BIG discount or a free meal at neighbor restaurant/sammich joint See? Not hard to run a business.. feel free to DM, I'm happy to come and consult with corporate and see what else we can fix.. in the mean time, I'll be over at Jiffy Lube. read more

My cars brakes were squealing bad. Needed new pads and rotors. Dropped it off at noon Friday picked it up at 3:30 also had the oil changed. They were quick and professional. A little expensive but you pay for the convenience. No waiting a week for an appointment. The convenience makes the expense Acceptable. read more

This place is bad besides EXPENSIVE!!!!!! the checklist that they are supposed to do on a car they dont do it they just type complete I was there to do the oil change that it took less than 5 min probably didnt even let the old oil drain all the way and end up paying $44.88 that is extremely over price is the first and last time that I go there and if someone reads my review please pay attention to what they supposudly do to your car because THEY DONT DO IT. read more

If I could give this place a negative star, I would. I was charged about $109.63 for a synthetic oil change. First off, that's $20 more than I normally pay at the Chevrolet car dealership. Second, the guy put my cars old dirty filter back into my car. For starters, why would you remove a part if you don't have a replacement? Makes no sense. He told me that he didn't have a replacement filter in the middle of the oil change. Then suggested that I go buy one and he'll then put it in. Sorry, but last I checked, a new filter is part of the oil change that I'm paying you for. As I was swiping my card to pay, he had the audacity to give me a flyer for a damn car show... as if his service was so good. You're CLEARLY out of your mind. This place is trash; Never again. read more

20 mins or less destroys the Toyota Dealership down the street. I ran out of free oils changes and I can't wait 1-2hrs! Friendly service, they use Mobil 1 and time factor is a no-brainer. Was $90 for a 4 runner tho therefore 4 stars read more

Excellent customer service! My car handles like crap even in tiniest amounts of snow. They came outside in cold and help me get my car in the garage for an oil change. They also have good prices for full service as well. read more

I found this shop on Yelp; it was close to work and had good reviews so I tried it. I called earlier that morning and they could fit me in for an oil change during my lunch break. When I got there, they automatically started working on my car (you can watch them from the little lobby, which has free drinks and popcorn by the way). They had a timer shown on a TV screen with a countdown from 20 minutes to have the service finished by, which definitely let me know that I would be back to work in no time. They managed to finish my oil change, other checks, and recommend and switch an air filter in under 10 minutes. Lots of communication between each other and me and lots of available coupons! It made it the quickest I've ever been to an auto shop. They'll also fill tires and top off windshield wiper fluid for free, you just have to stop in. I will definitely be coming back! read more

I really really needed an oil change, and I went way over my miles, I came here and they told me I needed a flush. I completely agree with that statement because of the time that I waited to have this done. They were very friendly and professional and I couldn't have asked for better service, they didn't try to upsell anything that I didn't need, just highly recommended the flush. They offered free drinks and were all very pleasant. I highly recommend this oil change establishment for oil change needs! read more
