Agree with some of the other reviewers...walked into the lobby / waiting area and it took a while for someone to acknowledge my presence. After about 5 minutes, someone came in from the garage area and spoke to me. Got an oil change. Full service synthetic priced at about 67 bucks. An extra two quarts for my 8 cylinder plus additional for 4X4. I'm sure I could have shopped around for a better price and used coupons, but the dude gave me 15% off for being Military. I came to this location approximately one hour before they closed... There was two cars being serviced in front of me, and I pulled up to the base and sat in my car and waited for an attendant to come and see me... No one came and asked me what I needed for about 15 minutes. After speaking with the representative he told me that there wasn't enough time in the night to finish doing the oil change on the two cars that he was working on and my car and that they were closing soon and I would have to come back Monday if I wanted my car worked on. Oil change does not take an hour, especially when you have two babies going... I have never really been to an establishment that doesn't want to continue to work up until the closing time. Especially when there is as many employees as there is here... lazy people do lazy jobs. Went in at 8 am opening on a Saturday morning, no one wants to be working at this time. Crew was AMAZING. They did two of my cars in under 30 minutes, and the staff was extremely welcoming and friendly for an early saturday. Morgan at the front was very kind and professional, she explained all options they had regarding cars that dont use synthetic and even the mechanics were smiling and calling me miss and ma'am. Thats where my 4 stars come into play. I'm used to the usual one to two hour wait with a grumpy staff that doesn't care and mechanics who won't even acknowledge a person as thats not part of their job requirement. My fifth star comes into play due to the fresh hot coffee, french vanilla creamer that no one ever has, and fresh cookies!! You usually don't see that as part of an oil change. Service was good, car seems to be running like it should. Was told it would take about an hour from the time I dropped it off. I finally got a call my car was ready two hours later.. went to pay at the front desk and the service attendant Zach processed my payment. He then proceeded to question me if my car keys were actually mine, like I was coming in to steal somebody's car. He also messed up the payment of the person in front of me charging him $100 more then he should of. In all, experience was good. But somebody please help Zach on his social skills. read more

I have been going to this Grease Monkey around 20 years...seriously. I have always been very happy with the dependable service I have received. About a month ago I went to get my oil changed. My tag in the upper left ornery of my windshield I get from GM indicated as much. Plus one of my wipers was falling apart and needed to be replaced. I went in on a Saturday to get an oil change. So I pulled in. They noted I was an existing customer and I let them know I needed new windshield wipers. I came back about an hour later. They had finished. I went to checkout. We started going through the itemized list. He said "we checked, this checked that." Then he said we checked the wipers. I looked over on the register screen and saw the had not charged me for new wipers. I was stunned! I let them know. They changed the wipers and I drove out of there in a daze. About 3 days later, my brake light waning starting glowing. It was a couple of days before I was able to get to an auto parts store and buy some brake fluid. That Saturday when I did get a chance to buy and add brake fluid, I was secretly hoping I had a bad sensor incorrectly reporting low brake fluid. Instead. I was able to add a nominal amount of brake fluid. Moral of the story? Grease Monkey after all of these years is just going thru the motions. I can never trust them again. I will never go back. Such a shame. I feel better now that I have warned others. I wonder if they really changed oil? Quick follow up. This says I am Mile D. At the strip in Las Vegas? That's wrong. I live three blocks from this grease monkey. I just told my wife and brother to stay away from this place. I don't know when it happened but these guys are now the worse. Busy as expected, I didn't mind that. However, a few things that were not cool.... Guys were smoking and vaping in the work area, and then getting into peoples cars. It's hard to trust many auto establishments these days, simply because a lot of them have a sales goal and push customers to get unnecessary things done to their car that is disguised as "preventative maintenance". I've been tricked many times throughout the years to get GM's "recommendations", and honestly you don't need all of those things done to your car. It's a shame however that this is the model that all grease monkey runs off of. Also I would recommend just purchasing your own air and cabin filter since it's cheaper. The oil change prices here are also a bit pricier. I honestly hate that every Grease monkey is franchised and inconsistent in service. This is probably one of the worst ones I've been to and I've been to probably six other GM in aurora, Denver and Boulder. Staff here wasn't very nice, they are pushy with the sales and push you to get a new air filter or recommendations, so it's a bit ridiculous. Just don't fall for it. read more

This was the WORST experience at any Grease Monkey location I have ever encountered. 1. Pulled up to a bay and left my vehicle in line. 2. Bay next to me had same amount of vehicles. 3. Waited in waiting room watching several customers come in after me and out before me , watching several cars go through the other bay with completed service. 4. After an hour and 10 minutes of waiting and my vehicle not moving I inquired about my vehicle. I was told it hasn't started yet because of the big project in front of me and it will take another 25-30 minutes. 5. Nobody updated me on this while I waited, why did I have to ask you? 6. Why do other customers get to have service done before me and quicker than me? 7. Why did you not have my car moved to the other bay to complete service? 8. This was atrocious service. YOU WASTED MY TIME AND HAD AWFUL SERVICE AND COMMUNICATION. I only needed a basic oil change and yet I had to wait this long, with no communication about it. I left and refused to give you the business and will not give you any business going forward. The fake apologies and poor attitude of the men on the floor did not help either. read more

Took my 60,000 mi 09 Mercedes in bc my check oil light came on before leaving town on a trip. I'm dressed in heels and a skirt. Dude working comes in and asks if my car has a dipstick. I'm thinking yes "dipstick" it does. He asks me to come out and show him....wtf.....I sell insurance. I point to the area on the motor where I think it is...you know, the thing w the plastic hook...he says no that's transmission fluid..........I don't know dude......you tell me? He says he will look it up in some database and determine where it is......they call me out and say they just "added oil until the sensor went off and that it took 3 quarts..." I was thinking why is my car leaking oil...what! I left.....I drive to Missouri on scheduled trip. Car breaks down in my parents driveway. I have about 1/10 the horsepower as I limp it to a local and trusted ase tech. He says, "your car has way too much oil in it...do you know why? It causes incorrect pressure and can break seals etc.". I asked if there was in fact a dipstick and he looked at me like I'm a moron.....and points to the plastic hook I showed the guy at grease monkey a few days prior. Anyway.....negative experience. I'll pay more and go to my Denver auto service place that checks everything out, knows what they are doing and offer me a loaner. read more

Came in on Sunday. The young man that came to assist me gave me the dirtiest look ever! He told me it would take 35 mins. I was behind 2 cars. The bay next to me was empty. So I figured it would be quick. I went across the street to fill a prescription with my daughter. I noticed 2 missed phone calls 4:25. I checked the message- it was grease monkey saying they were closed, my car would be in the garage locked up with the key. I could pick my car up the next day. I panicked! We literally ran back. There was still a costumer waiting for their car. Meanwhile, the clerk was not friendly. I noticed they closed at 4:00 when we ran back. I wish they would have mentioned it when we got there 5 mins before 4:00. (Hi ladies we close in 5 minutes, don't go anywhere) Now I understand the rudeness. I suppose it's my own fault, but I've never felt Grease Monkey was nearly as good of service or value as Midas. moved to a new part of town and no Midas here. the $39.99 oil change rapidly becomes $54 after you add in all of the hidden charges. The crap deal that I got fast talked into is a cabin air filter. $39.99 for a $9-12 part that you can put in yourself in 1-3 minutes (literally open a plastic latch, take one out and put one in). my own fault, I figured it'd be cheaper at walmart or oriely but hey I was there and it would be worth the $10ish to have it done. $89 later my oil is changed. People were nice, 30 minutes was really 85. read more

Carlos and his team take pride in what they do! I recently brought my Rav4 by- it had suddenly overnight sprung an oil leak and ALL of the oil in my car leaked out. At first it was tough to pinpoint exactly what the issue was- but instead of frustration, I was impressed. Carlos explained what things looked like under there, and what he thought the problem might be, but couldn't guarantee it was the issue... suggested either replacing the part he thought he might be or calling for warranty work. I asked him how he would handle the situation if he were me... long story short, he made me feel comfortable and at ease with what decision I was making instead of making me feel like I was being slighted or taken advantage of. I ultimately decided to have him replace the part (oil filter cap) and crossed my fingers. After he cleaned up the underside of the car, he then asked me to stop back by briefly within the next day or two for him to check it. Stopped there again today and good news, no leaking! Not only did the problem get fixed, it was done with what I would amount to trust and transparency , especially important things when dealing with vehicle maintenance/repairs. I will be sure to bring my car(s) back to this location to be taken care of by a competent and thorough team! read more

Been to this location a few times just because it's convenient. They are friendly enough, but not thorough. They went to clean out one of my filters and showed me that it needed to be replaced (it was full of leaves, etc). I opted out of that - so they put the filter back (with the leaves in place that could have just been shook out). Once I got on the road I then heard the leaves wrestling around when I turned on my A/C, so went back and that's when they showed me what was making the noise (the same leaves in the A/C filter). That is lazy and this crew does NOT go above and beyond to take care of their customers. Unfortunate. I will be going elsewhere from here on out. read more

Got a new battery quickly, in-and-out in less than half hour on a weeknight at rush hour for my '05 Corolla w 98000 miles. The managers are very friendly and work side-by-side with the excellent crew of service techs, which gives me confidence entrusting my vehicle and safety to them. They educate me, so I don't feel stupid or pressured. I had gotten an oil change and new wipers a month ago, and they let me know about the corrosion on my battery, which I neglected. But they took great care of me. I had called around on the battery, and theirs is the best warranty I could find -- 5 years, NOT pro-rated. Totally worth it, especially since I happened to have a 18% off coupon that was *not* expired. Each time, they've cleaned up my car a bit too, which is icing on the cake.
