A very critical bus line when I head out to the Eastside…read more One time I requested to stop at the Montlake Freeway station. As the bus approached the bus stop, I was getting ready to get off. However, the male driver kept on driving. I was like so maybe bus 271 doesn't stop here? Then as the bus got on the ramp, the driver realized something and was like "Oh SH*T! SH*T!!!!! Do you need to get off?" I was like it's ok I can just get off at the next stop. He was like "Oh no...are you sure?" I was like yes positive. Recently metro went through big changes taking out ride free area and having people pay on entry. I got on the bus and sat near the front of the bus because I had to make a transfer pretty soon. I normally exit from the back door but as I requested the bus to stop, the driver only opened up the front door and nobody was getting on at the bus stop. So I decided to walk off from the front door. The female driver was so pissed off and she yelled at me "EXIT FROM THE BACK DOOR!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Would be a great route if it didn't have time issues. Buses are usually very clean and not that crowded, it's just seriously almost always late. Currently, it's the entire route isn't running for a few days of week and during certain times at night due to 520 construction, but there's no information about this online.

This has to be the fastest time EVER to board a ship. Wow…read more Two ships in port, but it was clear where to go, we dropped our bags with the porter and the proceeded inside. Once you presented your passport and boarding pass, you were then sent up the escalator to check in. Everything was automated with photos etc and then we were sent to the priority boarding area (which could have been a little nicer honestly) Three minutes later they were ready for proper boarding so we couldn't have timed that more perfectly. The staff were all super friendly and very 'celebratory' with us about boarding the ship- which I love the energy. The ramps weren't super long or steep either so we boarded quickly. Nice experience.

9/14/2025 - Surprised and surprised, the Port of Seattle, known as SMITH COVE CRUISE TERMINAL,…read morestill does not have a digital facial technology (数字面部技术) for all cruise ships' guests. When we exited the cruise ship and walked through a final security exit point, we must pull out our passport and showed the security staff, who must read the contents of the password and match the face with the passport photo, etc., which dramatically slows the flow of the exit from more than 3,000 to 4,000 guests. In comparison, the Port of Los Angeles or the Port of Long Beach Cruise Terminal has been using a more secured digital facial recognition technology. As a result, the disembarkation is so fast - must give the leadership at the City of Los Angeles and Long Beach a thump up!!! The WiFi signal is very weak or none, as if we were arriving at a developing country. Basically, once you arrive at the entrance of the Cruise Terminal, you will not be able to communicate with anyone if your cell phone service provider is Spectrum or Verizon, but I do not know if T- Mobile or AT&T will provide a better signal or not. Where is Microsoft or Amazon's leadership in Seattle? Please help the Port of Seattle to adopt a pervasive digital facial recognition technology at the SMITH COVE CRUISE TERMINAL ASAP to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN. The ride sharing pickup location is far away from the exit area!!! You must walk a long distance with your luggage. Transferring to the airport is available at the exit area at $30 per person, but you may get a better price with a group of 5 or more via a negotiation on the spot at $20 per person.
