Their team did a fantastic job, cleaned the jobsite thoroughly and were great with communication and pictures of the work. The price was fabulous too, was expecting something much higher. Would definitely recommend, and while I won't replace the roof any time soon - I would absolutely use them again. The sales person and the project manager were fabulous.

Previously, Purelight had done a "repair" that actually broke one of our microinverters and left 4 panels offline, leading to significant power loss and a big increase in our electrical bill, so we were pretty desperate for help with undoing the damage Purelight had done. A&R took over management of our Hoymiles instance (that's the app they need access to in order to make sure everything is working right and check on panel metrics), replaced our broken microinverter, and when a part was super late they graciously comped us for it. Excellent work, prompt service, and professional and polite techs and workers across the board. We will absolutely be using them when we convert to a generator/battery model within the next few months. Very highly recommended!

I appreciate the values this company brought to their work…read more I had gotten another bid from a company that didn't even come out to my property. A and R sent their sales person to our house and he got right to work. He went into our crawl space under the roof to make sure our roof was properly supported for the panels. That was a relief as the other place wanted to send a structural engineer to do that very simple job and charge us for it. Ridiculous. Our project was two years, so the crew may be slightly different, but they were great. When there was an issue, like that we didn't have electrical grounding, they just put in grounding bars. Amazing! They offer production guarantees which is rare for a solar company, like those ones that come door to door. lol A and R was professional, easy to work with and easy to communicate with. Good job team!

My wife and I are first-time home buyers-- an objectively stressful experience. We found what…read moreamounts to our dream home, got our offer accepted, and our realtor recommended Tabor NW (specifically Zach) to perform the inspection on the home. We weren't too worried as, through the showings, the home seemed to be very well maintained. Zach stopped by the home to perform the inspection and confirmed that the home was in great condition, but as with all homes, there were maintenance, repair, and installation recommendations. Going through the home buying process, we had more than our fair share of questions and clarifications, but Zach blew us away. The evening following the inspections, Zach sent us a thorough and detailed narrative of his findings. We expected to read over it, have no clue what half of it meant, and then have to have the inspector and our realtor disseminate all of it. We were ab-so-lutely wrong. Zach not only gave us recommendations on what we should have repaired, maintained, or installed, but he laid out where any issues were individually located (with photos and diagrams), whether or not repairs and maintenance should be done personally or by a professional, and best of all, it was all presented in simple, easy to understand terminology. We had no questions, no stresses, and full peace-of-mind following Zach's inspection. It is entirely clear why Tabor NW was recommended to perform our home inspection. Thank you, Zach!

I rarely write bad reviews, but holy smokes -- this company has been a total disaster…read more They installed the HVAC system for an ADU I built in 2025. During the installation, they drilled through a structural beam in a way that created an inspection problem and ultimately cost me **several thousand dollars in additional structural engineering work** to get the project approved. Now we're in the **very first summer this cooling system has actually been used**, and it has already broken. I contacted them expecting them to stand behind their work, and they are refusing to fix it. So, to recap: their installation created a costly structural problem during construction, and now the brand-new cooling system they installed has failed during its first season of use -- and they won't take responsibility for repairing it. I genuinely don't leave bad reviews often, but this has been an extraordinarily frustrating and expensive experience. I would absolutely not use this company again.

On the day they arrived early (after calling to confirm it was OK). They got right to it, and had to drain the remainder of the oil, before cutting the tank into pieces. They were very professional, cemented over the wall where the pipes had been, removed the exterior pipes and cemented those. And laid down some odor-absorbing stuff to help with the smell. I'd recommend these for oil tank removal. (And by the way, my wife used them for her father's exterior oil tank decommission 2 years ago and it also went really well.)

While Dane was wonderful in replacing our water heater's anode rod, it was quite bothersome that we…read morehad to pay $250 to have it replaced on a part covered under warranty. The water heater was installed 2 1/2 years ago by Rivival Heating and the anode rod needed to be replaced because "Portland water is so hard and full of minerals". The original quote for labor alone (not covered under warranty) was $340 but we got the manager to bring it down to $250. Still, the water heater is only 2 1/2 years old and that was an expense we did not anticipate when we bought the water heater. The prior one was not broken but when we had Rivival replace our furnace, they strongly suggested replacing the water heater at the same time. The old one never produced brown water but after just two years, the new one did. Maybe the water heater wasn't as good as the previous one? Not sure... Forgot to add, my home warranty service said they could not reimburse me because this is a "warranty issue". And to be truthful, the furnace job was great! Just wish the water heater repair didn't cost me anything. Next year, when it is out of warranty, I'll be able to file for reimbursement from my home warranty provider.

They communicated great throughout and the process is more streamlined with them than two other firms installing for different friends of ours were. Our experience with bidding firms was wildly divergent - from "that big firm" that felt like dealing with a bot, to other mid-tier firms that frankly padded their bids (one firm quoted the same price for final install that we had for CS, but for 60% the array size!). Our Enphase system is performing as advertised and the backup Powerwalls give us a bit more assurance in outages which have become all-too-common in PDX winters. They got us to a reasonable cost per watt installed with high-quality components, took care of the permitting and inspections, and did a final walk-through meeting to test our system performance and make any adjustments needed. If you are considering solar, give these folks a call. There are a lot of shady characters looking to make a mint on folks not doing their due diligence. Cascade Solar is local to PDX and absolutely worth your time to consider!

They were all over $5K, most were around $6K. This seemed ridiculous to me as I just bough a deluxe window unit last year that cooled my entire 1,000 sq ft unit for $500. At a volunteer event I spoke with an energy auditor who recommended a ductless system. None of the companies I got quotes from had even mentioned ductless. Then a friend recommended Oregon Ductless as one of her clients had used them and loved them. I got a quote of $4,600 but I would get rebates and tax credits totaling $2K so the actual cost was only $2,600 and my electric usage should drastically decrease saving me even more money. The unit works great for a/c, you can get it down right freezing of you want to. We will see this winter how it works for heat, but I was able to keep my electric furnace so I will always have that as a back up. (It is now winter and the unit work great for heat also thinking of getting rid if my electric furnace now to free up closet space) I just got a notification that the first $800 rebate is on its way!! Thank you Oregon Ductless for making a boring money sucking necessity less costly by almost half.
