GRDN is a quaint neighborhood flower shop and nursery. I stumbled across GRDN this weekend when I was actually walking home from a sidewalk plant sale. GRDN is filled with beautiful loose stemmed flowers to make exquisite arrangements. I didn't ask the price for each stem, but I can only imagine it would have been a very pricey arrangement - and for good reason. The flowers were unique and super high quality. Bottom line, this is not your typical Trader Joe's selection. They also had really nice ceramics and pottery, like beautiful handmade vases ($100+) and other artisanal decor type items. Some of the pottery was more reasonably priced, but all high end. There was a nice selection of indoor potted plants, succulents, and air plants. When you walk to their backyard, they had good selection of outdoor plants in their nursery. I bought a few things I was really pleased with. Everyone working in the shop was very nice and gave good instructions for long term plant care. I won't be getting my weekly bouquet of flowers here, but I will definitely keep it in mind for a special occasion!

I love walking into GRDN's well-curated space. Year-round, I always find beautiful and interesting flowers for arrangements and my total ends up being less than I fear, so don't let it stop you. The wares offered are indeed on the pricier end, but so is the quality. They have a very well stocked garden in the back with a surprising variety. I was happy to have found Butterfly Milkweed (great for Monarchs), along with other perennials for other types of butterflies and bees. Most of the plants I saw are within our local Gardening Zone 6, some of which can be found on the High Line. Prices for plants are also very reasonable. NOTE: The sap from Milkweed is very toxic (ingested or topically) for both humans and pets. The ladies who helped me were helpful with my questions both when I called and walked in. I would highly recommend a visit to GRDN, both for flower arrangements and native plants. If you need a little pick-me up, it's a nice place to find a little something for yourself or your friends.

Such a nice experience! Miguel was so easy to work with…read more I called and asked if I could pickup a bouquet for a friend with about 2hrs notice. Miguel asked me what kind of colors I wanted and how much I wanted to spend ($50). I have him CC info over the phone end when we came by, he brought the bouquet upstairs and we were ready to go! (There's no showroom for the store/flowers so there's no walk ins and everything must be ordered in advance). I was beautiful with nice hydrangeas and other springy flowers. I felt like it was a great value and a seamless process! I'm totally not surprised so many reviews mention Miguel and how awesome he is.

Her favorite flower is peonies and I wanted a beautiful bouquet from peonies. I told the gentleman to hide the bouquet in the paper so my friend won't be able to see the pink color until she find out the gender of the baby. Well there was NOT one peony flower in that bouquet. It was completely a wrong order I was given. I texted the number of the number owner later that evening. My message was read but there was no reply to follow. My three texts were simply ignored. I will never order from that place again. I paid over 100 dollars for a completely incorrect bouquet and zero response from the owner.

We worked together using the venue's floorplan to create a proposal and the pricing was very reasonable. They did an incredible job - they executed my vision so perfectly and made our venue really pop. I loved my bridal bouquet and the boutonnieres to match were stunning. We could not have been happier and recommend Verdure for any and all your events! Verdure is also a great place to stop in for a just-because bouquet; Dezzie has a great eye when creating his designs, and the shop is so cute, warm, and welcoming.

I will just say that for valentines days of the future, they need to prioritize organization. I ordered $100 worth of roses to be delivered the day before Valentine's Day, I payed extra for delivery and I tipped on top of that ahead of time ($140 in total). They promised over the phone that the roses would be delivered by 5pm. They never showed up and they didn't answer the phone. I then went to the shop and stood online for 40 minutes. When I told them what happened they then tried to find the roses and couldn't. They found a small bouquet of roses and handed them to me with no offer for partial refund but they offered me a used glass vase. They seem like nice people but I am just not happy with my experience.
