Excessively long office wait times. The "theater" gives a false sense that times aren't as long because that's phase two of the wait. I shouldn't have to call back after leaving a message and waiting more than 2 days for return calls Insanely ridiculous insurance filing complications - which neither of the other two orthodontists even mentioned or asked me questions about because it was so seamless. My son was cut multiple times, which neither of my other sons ever experienced (both of them have since had their braces removed). We actually had to ask for a tech not to touch his mouth after she cut him on three different appointments. To her credit, she did call and apologize after the request was made, and she never did work on him again. One cut? Ok. Two? Hmmm - perhaps more training is needed. But three!? There should have been more supervision there. Overall, a highly negative experience. So negative that my son hasn't been to the office in over a year after getting his braces off, and I still have a bad taste in my mouth. I wondered if Dr Davis practice was "normal" since it has been a very long time since I had braces. I assure you, it is not. I now know this after using two other local orthos, both of whom I highly recommend. Dr Davis, herself, is a wonderful person. Caring and sweet - however, the services are not.
