This is a very overdue review, but it's well deserved. John is truly one of my favorite contractors…read moreto work with. Our neighbor highly recommended him for our stucco project, and he exceeded our expectations from start to finish. From the moment he provided his bid, everything was timely and professional. He took the time to explain the differences between Blueskin and regular waterproofing, including the pros and cons of upgrading. When it came to ordering windows, he walked us through why investing in higher-quality options was important and how it would benefit us long-term. What really stands out about John is his integrity and foresight. Our project lasted about two months through winter, with plenty of rain and wind, but he was always one step ahead. He made sure his team covered and protected the work without us ever having to ask. Even while managing multiple projects, John stayed on top of every detail. His organization and communication gave us complete confidence throughout the process. I would hire John again in a heartbeat.

My husband and I was looking for someone to redo our stucco. We found John through Google and…read moredecided to reach out for a quote. Wow! He is so organized, communicative, thorough, knowledgeable and professional! We thought it was just how contractors usually are in the beginning and once they get the job, the lack of communication and professionalism is out the door. BUT John and his team kept their professionalism and communications with us throughout the whole project! We also felt the cost John quoted us was very fair because we have gotten quotes from several others. The price John gave along with his quick responses and walking us through what is best for our house and pockets. We of course picked him. We actually delayed their team because of some issues and John was so patient and helpful. He even had to step in and advocate for us for a different part of the house that someone we hired didn't do correctly. We can't thank John and his team enough. We are forever grateful! Definitely will refer John and his team to anyone and we have been getting so many compliments from neighbors of the workmanship. Thank you again John for following through and made our whole experience working with you so easy and trusting of you and your team to help make our house the waterproof and beautiful!

Seamus learned his craft from his dad back in Ireland. And he knows what he's doing…read more My 100-year old bungalow in Oakland had serious issues. Roof leaking, windows leaking, wood rot, termite damage. What a mess. Seamus has the skills (and in the case of the roof, the associates) to fix all of these problems. His team chiseled out all of the aged stucco and added new chicken wire, flashing and weep screeds. He removed all the rotten wood and essentially rebuilt the front corner of my house, including a decorative wall that was so leaky that its bones had completely rotted away. Then his team re-applied base stucco and let it cure properly before mixing a beautifully colored finishing coat that was perfectly textured. The house looks amazing now. I had been putting my head in the sand for years, ignoring all the growing cracks in the stucco and knowing that water was soaking the bones of my house. I have peace of mind now. Also, as people note below, Seamus is responsive and a good communicator. So important in a contractor. Thanks Seamus.

The wall was originally made of lath and plaster. I prefer to keep the materials the closest the what was originally used for our home. Seamus was able to just that. He used wooden lath and plaster that blended right in to the rest of the wall. The result was great. He was also friendly and professional. Thanks Seamus!

We had a massive water leak coming from our light well into our garage on Christmas Day and Asael came out to check super fast after we requested a quote. It was a difficult job to do in the tiny space, but he and his crew immediately created a tented area on our roof so no more water would come in and they could work while it was raining. His communication and updates were great and he kept us well informed with photos and messages. His crew were totally professional, friendly, and clean and we couldn't be happier with the end result. I can't believe they were able to do everything they did in such a short time during the intense storms. I highly recommend them and would call them again if anything else comes up.

Beyond the actual work that was done, I really appreciated how communicative Marcelino was throughout the job. It was a big one, about 4 weeks redoing the entire front of the home, he was great and easy to work with throughout the entire process. Giving updates as he and his team progressed, making tweaks here and there that other contractors would have probably not done for free. Long story short, if you are on the fence about going with Marcelino or not, don't think too hard about it, you'll be a happy customer if you go with Marcelino.
