The caller had a thick accent and I asked where she was calling from, she would only say she was working remotely. I point blank asked her if she was in India, she said "yes". I asked her if she had my date of birth, she had my correct date of birth. The terrible part. The urgent care I visited last year, Northlake Urgent Care, located at 4060 Lavista Road is also SnapCare Clinic. This business has sent my personal information overseas to a call center in India. My name, address, social security number, date of birth, and phone number are all being traded in a foreign country known for identity fraud and scam calls. Now they are trading my personal information amongst themselves. Five minutes after I began to write this review, my wife called me and told me she had received the same call from the same person. She visited that same location before I visited. The only reason I gave a one star rating is because there is not a rating below one star. DO NOT do business with these people. They are providing your personal information to foreign entities that can do anything they wish with it, without consequence.

Dr. Lee is located off Wesley Chapel on Snapfinger. Outside the office is rather unassuming and there was plenty of parking within a few steps of her door. I was greeted by the receptionist/front office person.. Linda. Then I spent a few minutes completing my paperwork. Afterwards my vitals were taken in an examination room and Dr. Lee came in for my appointment. Our visit was great! Really personable and professional. Both times I came here was to get a physical exam done and clearance letter from the doctor saying I was good to go to boot camp. My first experience was a fail because I booked an early morning appointment and when I got in, I gave them my insurance cards but turns out they couldn't even contact my insurance company because it was based off in Vegas, where I used to live. Georgia is three hours ahead and so being that I booked an 8 or 9 o'clock appointment, it would've been 5 or 6 in the morning in Vegas so they weren't even open yet. I don't blame anyone for this. It was just inconvenient for myself since I had to reschedule. The next time I went, it went much smoother since I called a couple days beforehand and they got my insurance info and called them before my appointment date. So I got my exam done and it didn't take too long. However, the doctor didn't write me my clearance letter nor did he mail it to me like I thought he would. Instead he just mailed me my physical exam results, a week later, which is useful but I still needed my clearance letter. So I called the office again and he said he'd finally type it up and I picked it up the next day. Overall, there were minor inconveniences and I just wish they wrote out the clearance letter the first time around but the staff was alright and so was the doctor. I would come back here again for the sheer fact that I've already been here before and there were no major complaints.

I was asked about the type of pressure I'd like, and when I shared that I wanted firmer pressure, they mentioned it would be $10 extra. A little unusual for a foot only massage and not listed on the pricing menu, but it was disclosed verbally upfront. Annoying but fine. During the course of my 1 hour foot massage, the masseuse is on her phone texting and coordinating appointments. She gets up and leaves the room 9 times. 9! To go and help translate with customers who are coming in for their appointments. She's apologetic, but how much "firm" pressure do you think is really being applied when you're massaging with one hand and texting with the other? At this point, I've already made the mental note not to return. Now to the moment that prompted the review: I go to check out and I do tip $10, despite not being happy overall with the constant breaks in service and not feeling like I got exceptionally "firm" pressure. She then asks me to tip $20 instead. To ask for an ADDITIONAL tip knowing that you provided poor service is absurd, greedy, and very bad business.

They have about 5 doctors that practice here. I started seeing Dr. Parrott on my first visit. I chose to keep him as my Primary doctor because of lots of reasons. He is one of the first doctors that I've had in quite a while that I just love. He always takes the time that I need and goes that extra mile. My last doctor would come in, examine me and disappear. I finally have a doctor/patient relationship that I truly enjoy. With having multiple health issue's, I now have a doctor, I feel that cares. He always goes over my patient plan at each visit and I don't feel like I'm just a name on a chart or that he is rushing to get to his next patient. While there, he will ask about my medically fragile granddaughter and as a grandmother, that means a lot. He really cares. Another thing that I love about him is he has medical students from Emory that shadow him every so often. I respect that. The nurse will always let me know if a student is there and will ask if I mind if they join in my examine. In my opinion, I'm a great study because I have so many health issues. LOL.. I think it's so admirable that he has a part in helping them. I even allowed one student to remove a skin tag (her first) from my back under Dr. Parrott's watchful eye. And I can't praise his staff enough. His nurse is the best!! She too, always ask about my grandchildren. If I need anything, she is happy to get it for me. She brought me in a bottle of water yesterday. She is always upbeat and very pleasant. They also have a great front desk staff. The wait time is never long, like i had experienced in other offices. I could sing their praises all day long but I think you know that I love this office. I feel that having a great relationship with your doctor and their staff is important and 100% a part of your treatment plan. There are a slew of doctor offices closer to me but I'm staying with Rockbridge Family Medicine and Dr. Parrott.
