With respect to the card shop, you could get deals across the board. Unfortunately, it looks like that's no longer the case. Apparently they have consignments so can't really get a deal anymore. Specifically Pokémon. Biggest appeal to me was coming in and buying stuff and supporting the store while at the same time not feeling ripped off, especially with the state of most card games now due to scalpers, which I'm assuming is where they get their "consignments". Not our fault that some grown man decided to make a kids game their income but that's now the case. They also sold some expired snacks only, reason they changed it cause the client over analyzed a wrapper and saw. I'd prefer a strict no trading in store policy over consignment any day if it brought back the great deals but at the end of the day it's a business and a business will do whatever to survive a lot like Bricks & Minifigs.

AVOID THIS SHOP AT ALL COSTS. I made a huge mistake coming…read morehere. The location felt sketchy from the start, but l ignored the red flags because I trusted them with my cards. Biggest mistake I could've made. I brought 23 cards in for cleaning. While a couple came back cleaned, 1 am convinced at least 4 of my cards were swapped out. There were no receipts, no documentation on their end, and absolutely zero accountability for what was handed over versus what was returned. The only reason I believe I got my Shadowless Blastoise back is because I had picture proof and personal records of the card before bringing it in. If I didn't, I honestly don't think I would have seen it again. The entire experience was stressful and uncomfortable. Tony acted shady throughout the process, he held onto the red cheek, Pikachu and the Misty the entire time and I thought he was going to do a good job on cleaning those two cards instead one look like it wasn't touched, and the other one looked like it was swapped because as you could see in the picture, I did not have a bend in the corner and when I mentioned my banned Misty card, he immediately offered to buy it from me. That instantly raised major red flags. To make matters worse, the pack I purchased from them appeared resealed. Between the suspicious behavior, lack of professionalism, poor record keeping, and complete lack of trustworthiness, I would strongly warn collectors to stay far away from this shop. Please do your research and read reviews before trusting any shop with valuable collectibles. I'm seriously considering filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau because customers should never have to worry about their cards being tampered with, swapped, or mishandled. I noticed it was more TCG based store nurses a sports store, with my daughter being new and loving Pokémon and One Piece we stayed. The store had some basic cards for sale so my daughter and I went through them to help her build her little collection. Upon getting ready to purchase the store rep MIKE, overheard me tell my daughter it was time to pay so make her selections, Mike told her just takes emails. He told me how they love to donate when they can and that the couple of cards wouldn't hurt anything and it truly made my daughter day. She was so happy and she can't wait to go back and visit. The crazy thing though, they still kept the highest level of service with a full house for a card tournament they were hosting, which looked pretty cool ......lol Thank you Mike!!!

We drive 30 mins away because not only are they nice, they have a wide selections of everything from pokemon, magic, one piece, rift bound, slabs etbs, bulk etc. The value is spot on and they are willing to make a deal so bring cash too as a tip. You can tell they have built a really sweet local community everyone who comes in and out have been regulars. It's clean and smells good in here. If you never checked this card shop out you should!

To be honest, dear reader, I am not an avid comic book reader! While I do enjoy the superhero…read moremovies that come along each year, and I do casually read certain runs, or listen to explanations of certain comics via Comics Explained, I do not keep up with this medium as consistently as I do with Video Games. The only run that I have kept up with on a consistent basis is the Sonic the Hedgehog comics, both the Archie run (slightly before Ian Flynn would take over) and the IDW run as I am a huge fan of Sonic. Due to this, I do like to visit a comic book store every once-in-a-while, and this is my #1 spot! I found out about this nice little spot back in 2006 or 2007 as after learning about the Archie run via the Sonic Mega Collection, I wanted to start reading these comics. I noticed this place from time to time in my family's travels to Bellflower and asked my Mother to take me one day. I stopped going for a long time, not because of any specific negative reason, but just because they stopped selling the Sonic run. Since Sonic is the only comic book that I read, I had no reason to return. I did find out about places like Pulp Fiction, but I found that the customer service was consistently not up to par and eventually stopped going. Last year, during Free Comic Book Day, I wanted to stop by a Comic Book Store in order to pick up some of the free comic books. I first went to Amazing Comics & Cards, but found the selection to be very limited and a similar problem of the customer service being poor. I went here after so long to see if they were participating in Free Comic Book Day, and luckily enough, they were! Going in, it is still majorly organized as I remember way back when, but just now with more Graphic Novels and Manga. One thing that I can always say is the best about this place is the customer service. When I went to Free Comic Book Day, they gave people a list of what was available and crossed out any that were not available, they allowed an individual to get way more comics than the previous store I went to (like 5 comics in comparison to 2 or 3), and when I was conflicted on which comic to get, they just allowed me to have both. Not only this, the main guy at the cash register, I never got his name, but is an older white gentleman that usually wears a cap, is always nice and helpful. I don't remember him from years ago, but immediately from our first interaction, he has the best personality. Easy to talk to and start up a conversation, and leaves a definite positive impression after stepping out of the store. And this isn't just one interaction, I had been going from time to time in 2025, and the attitude was always solid. They never seem to run out of the comics that I am looking for and just generally seem to be great spot hidden away in the Bellflower area. In all, from what I remember back in the mid-to-late 2000s and recently, I give them 5 stars. A great place for comic readers and worthy of being one of my favorite spots to stop by when I am in the mood of purchasing a comic.
