Past times at the mall we were always acknowledged. Definitely disappointing but now I know we will spend our money elsewhere. We were planning on purchasing a knife set and a new pot but it definitely didn't feel good being in there after that. Would give it no stars but the display up front pictured here was one star worthy.

The first thing to note is that Williams-Sonoma moved out of Fashion Mall and into Nora Shoppes, an…read moreincreasingly high-end retail center down the street a bit next to West Elm (which did the same thing). I'm not 100% sure, but I think one more sister store is also going in. The address has been updated on Yelp and is correct now. So, how is it? Well, it's pretty accessible. There's accessible parking almost directly in front of it. The two-sided doorway is pretty manageable. There were some sports in the store where I struggled with access and others where I struggled because a wheelchair bump would mean I was buying a really expensive, fragile item I probably couldn't afford. Williams-Sonoma, if you don't know, sells kitchen wares and home furnishings. The emphasis is on high-end items. You won't find a Keurig here. You'll find a $2,995 Breville Oracle® Dual Boiler Espresso Machine, however, and other items that you just look at with bewilderment. Their big kick right now seems to be Stanley Tucci-branded items along with seasonal items. I will confess I lusted after some of the Halloween items. While I felt very welcome at West Elm, I will admit I felt a bit less welcome here other than one super helpful employee. I had another employee who seemed wary of me - I mean, come on, that's somewhat legit. I'm a frumpy wheelchair user with no sense of fashion and garage sale sensibilities. Can I shop at Williams-Sonoma? Sure. Maybe not everything, but shopping here's now out of the question. I can't deny, despite my obvious cynicism, that I actually liked this store and I liked it more than when it was at Fashion Mall. It feels a little more relaxed. It smells great. It looks good (the flooring could use some assistance). It has some seasonal items, candles, and small housewares I adored. Most of the employees were friendly if not exactly welcoming (except for Mr. Wary who, by the way, was less fashionable than I was. So there.). If you want to elevate your game, especially in the kitchen, this is a great place to start.

They have just about everything there for the entire home. The layout basically takes you through the whole store and it feels almost like a maze, but you follow through it in one direction. However, if you look carefully, there are shortcuts between sections. I enjoy the journey, so I got my steps in! There's service counters available around different parts of the store for assistance. They also have little gadgets, gizmos, and treats to add to your cart around there too. I found a sleeve of chocolate cookies for $2! Of course, one must visit the cafe when visiting IKEA. One must get the meatball meal. It's under $10 for a dozen meatballs, mashed potatoes, and peas. It is very delicious and filling. IKEA family members can get free tea or coffee from the cafe, but their coffee machine was down. :( I'm sure I'll be back for more home finishings before too long!

It's always exciting to explore this sprawling Swedish mega store! Sure it's a bit intimidating…read morebecause of how huge it is but the signage and shortcuts are definitely helpful. The employees are very knowledge and will guide you too. Today I went to redeem my IKEA Family birthday rewards which are some of the best loyalty perks I've received all year. They issued me a $10 coupon off a $10 purchase and a free slice of cake on top of that! I love all of the unique and fun items they offer. It's really easy to get distracted by all the cool stuff. I felt inspired to redecorate my entire house lol. Stocked up on some kitchen essentials--all of which are quite reasonably priced. Can't leave without checking out the "Last Chance" products as well as the "As Is" and other discounted items near the exit. I also had a budget friendly lunch which didn't taste like typical bland cafeteria food. I'd go back again. They have so many interesting things to eat, drink and home goods to purchase. Perfect for last minute holiday shopping!
