BAM's was incredibly efficient from start to finish. Our flower beds were overgrown with all the…read moreworst sorts of weeds and random plants, and filled with leaves from years past. My wife and I had always planned to get to it ourselves, but work and family always came first. So, we finally sought help, and BAM's was great. Another landscaper wanted 500 - 1000 dollars just to consult and draw a pretty picture of what our yard *could* look like. Then I reached out to BAM's. Initially I reached out just about the front and side yards and sent them pictures. They offered me quote based on what I wanted done (spring cleanup and mulch installation), and I accepted. They quickly got me scheduled and when the day came, they did just an amazingly efficient job (much, much faster than I ever thought possible) and a very thorough one (it wasn't just fast, it was well done). The three guys who did the work were just incredibly friendly and professional, and did the beds in the backyard too, much to my very happy surprise (the quote wasn't in fact limited to the front and sides, but I was so overwhelmed with what I thought were the worst parts of the yard, I neglected that fact). My wife can now walk outside without feeling overwhelmed about all there is to do. I would work again with BAM's in a heartbeat.

They just didn't show up. I literally lived down the street from them. It takes about 10 secs to…read moreget to my house from their business address. For weekly service, they would show up about once a month. I had a doorbell camera (like most people) and called them out on this... to no avail. ..... See business response below: - Thank you for clarifying that if it rains, you won't show up but will continue to charge for missed visits. It rains a lot in Maryland. - Thank you for clarifying that my painters show up on the doorbell camera, but your crew does not. Painting happened months after I fired your company. This excuse is not logical or valid, just like your charges. - Thank you for clarifying that I lived within 10 seconds of your business so it would not have been a hassle to come back on a non-rainy day. - Thank you for demonstrating that you took more time to respond to this public review than the many emails I sent you. I did not want to drudge up more drama or for this business to threaten to disclose my private information and address. There's a reason I waited until I moved across the country to post this reviewed. I was scared! Giving this business your credit card is a carte blanche for them to rack up charges. You are not charged for each visit, but for months at a time. The explanation is that weekly visits are not guaranteed, but your contract guarantees them weekly payment. I was charged extra to weed wack part of my yard that had a gradual 6-in elevation difference and therefore was not mowed or edged for months. No permission was sought of course for this extra charge.

I have used JR Lawn and Tree Services at two different properties and have always had great…read moreexperiences. Previously, they provided lawn services at a house I rented and always did a wonderful job. I moved to my new house in a different part of the area and was having a terrible time getting any lawn and tree maintenance companies to be responsive to my inquiries. I remembered Junior and his team and reached out. Junior is great to work with, coming out to do a personal evaluation of my property's needs. I received a detailed estimate prior to the start of work, and found it very easy to get my questions answered by email. Junior's team did an amazing job sprucing up my front yard! I had them sod, trim my large tree, pull out a nearly-dead evergreen and replace it with a baby version of the same kind of tree, trench my downspout gutters, and install new hydrangea bushes. This on top of pulling out a stubborn tree trying to grow between my patio bricks at the back of the house plus cleaning up the back garden patches. Everything looked so much better once they were done! I'm excited to work with them on a regular basis going forward!

It was helpful and informative. Thank you for noticing the text you sent me didn't go through and thank you for the estimate. However the cost of the leaf clean up and removal was nearly triple from what I paid last year. I understand inflation, but if I paid $100 last year and was ask to pay $250/$220 this year, I am certain folks would see why I couldn't pay the estimated cost for the same job.

Abandon ship! Avoid this shop…read more A.I.R used to be good but this year, my 3rd year with them, was filled with red flags. The initial proposal for the year came on the last day of March, and it was full of errors. The first mow didn't happen until 4/29. Weed Preemergent was useless at that point. We paid extra for mulch but never got any. Bare flower beds ended up being infested by weeds. Mowing frequency was 2+weeks apart IN THE SPRING. I seriously doubt they will actually mow the # of times promised in the contract by the year-end. There's no more "green" factor either. An unmarked white truck unloads rented gas-powered equipment. Mowers couldn't care less if they are chopping grass or my flowers. On top of that, we couldn't get anyone to reply to our phone calls or emails. We waited long enough for Zach and his team to respond and make amendments before we write this review. It's very unfortunate to see a good operation drop to this low.
