They worked very hard despite cold winter temperatures and completed the job in a timely manner. They took their time laying the posts and carefully measuring the distances and property line. Antonio is very detail oriented and made sure that we were comfortable with the property line and we discussed how the fence would flow given the grade of the property. I appreciated that he is definitely of the "measure twice (or three times), cut once" mindset and I felt like he was very focused on getting it right and making sure that I was comfortable before starting the install. I never got the sense that he was trying to rush this job to hurry off to another project. His team left our yard spotless during and after the install and graciously cleared bushes and brush in order to install the fence in the first place. Any time I had a question about the project or needed clarification, Antonio was quick to call or text me. He is very customer service oriented and puts a lot of effort into maintaining open lines of communication and partnering with his clients to get the job done right. Every day he said he would show up to work, he did, and he was always available by text (day or night, including weekends). His communication skills are amazing and his good nature and positive attitude made the project go smoothly, despite some external forces (that had nothing to do with Antonio and his team) that made it unnecessarily challenging. An update to my two previous reviews posted shortly after the fence and gate were installed in…read more2017. To this day, over seven years later, we still have issues with the gate. Last winter, the bottom of the gate dropped down so far that it was stuck on the concrete sidewalk below it, it couldn't be opened or closed. We needed to have P&E Construction come out to saw off enough wood from the bottom to make the gate moveable again. The top latch and the bottom lock still require periodic adjustments (relocating them on the gate) in order for them to work properly. I was told by P&E Construction the reason for this problem is the holes for the gate posts weren't dug deeply enough so the only way to remedy this issue with the latch and the lock once and for all is to rip up the cement covering the holes, remove the posts, dig deeper holes, replant the posts, and pour new cement. It's easier to do the periodic adjustments (roughly once per year) so that's what we have P&E Construction do. I'm stunned Fine is still in business, based upon how many clients he's burned, according to these Yelp reviews. In short, very substandard work and no accountability afterwards. In my case, I was told the problems I'm having are my fault.
