Let me explain something. Entire Black communities - block by block city by city - decimated by the War on Drugs and Mass Incarceration. Now that the pendulum has swung, I will only spend my money with Black-owned dispensaries. Cause I'll be Mississippi goddamned if I--- you get the point. Here's the setup: you get buzzed in and choose what you want from a kiosk. I found this part a little intimidating because I couldn't search for the vibe I wanted - body, euphoria, happy, creative. Things like Hybrid, Sativa, Indica really mean nothing to me. I was choosing on color and packaging alone and almost bought something good for a restful night's sleep when I was trying to turn up for a concert lmao. I asked a guy who was there doing product demo for help. Even though he wasn't an employee he was supremely helpful and steered me in the right direction. After placing my order I was out in 2 minutes. I'm an old school water bong or brownies type of gal, but for $21 these gummies hit the spot. Support Black-owned businesses folks! read more

5 pack pre roll with the strain called "Pablo's Revenge" burned terribly and tasted the same. Prices were a little more than I thought they'd be, and very very limited selection. Not the best. read more

As a south loop resident, Grasshopper Dispensary in South Loop has been a game-changer for me. Gone are the days of trekking downtown or to the north side to purchase cannabis products--I now have a top-notch dispensary right in my neighborhood. Every visit to Grasshopper has been met with exceptional service and expertise from the staff. Whether you're a seasoned cannabis enthusiast or a newcomer, the team is incredibly knowledgeable and always willing to answer questions or provide recommendations. Plus, their online ordering and kiosk options make the purchasing process seamless and efficient. One thing I particularly appreciate about Grasshopper is the lack of pressure to buy. Unlike some dispensaries where you feel obligated to make a purchase upon entering, I've never felt rushed or coerced here. It's refreshing to be able to browse the selection at my own pace and make a decision without feeling pressured. The only minor inconvenience I encountered was the transition to cash-only transactions. While they previously accepted credit and debit cards, they've since moved to a cash-only policy. However, this is a small inconvenience compared to the overall positive experience provided by Grasshopper Dispensary. Overall, I highly recommend Grasshopper Dispensary to anyone in the South Loop area looking for a convenient, welcoming, and knowledgeable cannabis shopping experience. Also, I was able to get items that were in my budget. They have a wide variety so you could spend from a little as five dollars to items priced at above 100. read more

I have been coming here off and on for a year now. This is a great dispensary. Budtenders are super chill and always ready to assist. They have a great selection of products. I have never been disappointed in any of their recommendations. This is a great location for those in Downtown and the Loop area. read more

One red train stop from Chinatown and about a 6 min walk. Was worth both the train and walk. They had great specials. the online ordering system they use in store can be overwhelming so glance at the website to get some kind of idea. read more

Wonderful staff! Great product! What a nice and kind face to greet me at every stage. Even threw in a few freebies!! I love freebies!!

A great spot. I'm from Cali, but every time I go to Chicago, I hop in over to Grasshopper. Great selection and the staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and very welcoming. read more

Besides parking this place was cool. I went with a friend to pickup her order and the process was smooth. The people were kind. Because it was 4/20 they had a great sale of 42% off for members. Which is great for value considering the taxes she paid and to promote larger purchases. The selection of items seemed plentiful because from the eye it appeared to be at least 6-7 big brand vendors that they have available. I got a keychain and a beautiful donut to celebrate my experience. Lol. The decor was cute to me also. I guess places like this should be a vibe. read more

Grasshopper Club South Loop Chicago Dispensary - Dope art to represent their spot - Cannabis Dispensaries Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

HORRIBLE customer service at this location yesterday. I know they only accept cash or debit card but fair-skinned guy refused my debit card because it was Apple Pay. They send me to Trader Joe's Next door and I come back and they can't find my order even though they said they would save it while I got cash back. The other employee goes, "he had to go next door? Devastating," after already having an attitude with me before she even realized I had just been there 5 minutes prior. Tried to make me leave and come back a SECOND time cause they charge way more than the listed price then get defensive when you call them on it. $33 for a gram and a lighter is CRAZY! Their selection isn't even that good either. By far, the WORST dispensary I've been to while in Chicago, and I will not be coming back. They also don't like walk-in orders because they're lazy and slow--so please keep this in mind if for some odd reason you still decide to come here. The only thing this dispensary has going for it is the location, but going out of the way for good service is always worth it! read more

Too expensive and not good guest service. Will not be shopping there again. Their Logan square location is the same. *my account was hacked by the GM of Bud n Rita's Avondale after she fired me last month. This IS NOT my genuine review* read more

Lacie was great! I will be back! The prices were solid and the store was set up nicely and very clean!

Friendly. Quick. Helpful guy showed me a number of options that fit what I was asking for. Couldn't have been easier or more pleasant. Thanks! read more

This place is great mostly because of the customer service I received from Chad. He was chill, professional, and informative. Imo, it's rare to find this sort of detailed attention in dispensaries. Super helpful. Go visit. read more

The black female budtender that served me today is a complete bi***. She repeatedly rolled her eyes at me and made weird faces all because I asked questions about which bud I should pick. Don't go here. The bud wasn't any good either. read more

Selection has dwindled, high prices. Due to proximity I would shop here often for concentrates; prices were fair and there would be a good selection. Now there are only a handful of items to choose from with prices that don't justify the quality and potency. Others shops have the same items or better for lower prices. read more

They take care of me, the advise me they are efficient and effective. They deserve my patronage

Almost scared to tell y'all how good this place is. Been to both the south loop and Logan square locations several times, and every single time, I am blown away. Product is always solid -- let's start there. Tried some of their bud, beverages, and edibles on different visits. Prices rock. Sunnyside has me paying like I'm a high schooler getting ripped off on my first pick up -- Grasshopper Club would never!!! The folks inside at both locations are some of the nicest people on earth, and know what tf they are talking about. I thought I hated using dispensaries before I found Grasshopper Club. Love this business and will continue to support!! read more
