Jennifer Guth is such an awesome person! Not only knowledgeable and professional, but she went above and beyond to help me out after I had surgery to repair my tendon. I believe she helped me get on track to a great recovery and was so kind during the process. I would definitely recommend contacting her if you're wondering where to go for help. I'm glad I did. Thank you Jennifer!!

Throughout this time, our experience has consistently been positive. From the moment I began working with their team, the staff at Glenbrook has demonstrated exceptional professionalism, compassion, and a genuine commitment to providing high-quality care. The nurses and caregivers are attentive, patient, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure each resident's comfort and dignity. The facility itself is clean, well-maintained, and offers a warm, welcoming environment. Communication is another standout strength which provides great peace of mind for both families and care partners. In my role, I've also had the opportunity to collaborate closely with their team during residents' transitions back home with caregiving support. Their coordination during these transitions is outstanding, ensuring that residents and their families feel fully prepared and supported every step of the way. All of the families we've assisted following discharge from Glenbrook Health Center consistently share positive feedback about their experience, which further reflects the quality of care provided. What truly sets Glenbrook apart is their personalized approach to care. It's clear that the team takes the time to understand each resident's unique needs and works diligently to create a respectful and supportive environment. I would confidently recommend Glenbrook Health Center to anyone seeking skilled nursing care for a loved one.

I referred a client to this center who was navigating significant challenges related to addiction and trauma. From the moment she was admitted, she was impressed by the professionalism, warmth, and trauma-informed care provided by the staff. The clinical team demonstrated deep compassion offering individualized treatment plans, evidence-based practices, and a safe, supportive environment for women to heal. What struck me most was their holistic approach--addressing not only substance use, but also the emotional, psychological, and spiritual needs of the women they serve. My client came back with a renewed sense of self, stronger coping tools, and a deep commitment to her recovery journey. No one wants to have to go to a treatment facility but to get your addiction issues addressed with a holistic approach makes it more empowering.

After many upsetting personal things that my care team didn't help with like "food insecurity" they wouldn't even take me to a food shelter unless I begged, houses we were assigned to for a while, alot of them were in the worst shape, I had to abruptly move to a new house, because we found out that we were living in a mold infested home for many months.. alot of the therapist and mental health workers didn't really care about alot of the clients, and just seemed to be there to collect a paycheck. Housing manager was pretty much a tyrant and didn't really make things as accessible as they could or legally for disabled clients... There was a lot of favoritism, in which some clients could just opt to not go to program, whereas others suffered harsh penalties for staying home especially in emergencies.. (we were told 3 absences gives you the boot, and some clients just didn't attend unexcused just because they didn't want to) My own personal therapist, even though she knew I was going through distress, due to lack of help, being my own case manager, and all of that stress accumilating to a suicidal attempt, my therapist ignored what I was going through, and told me to participate anyways, or it'll be marked against me. Alot of the "mental health professionals" seemed very much unqualified to actually help clients, and there were several situations in which clients, had to intervene and help other clients if they were going through panic attacks, suicidal ideations, etc.. When we asked the mental health professionals to do more and help clients.. we were often faced with attitude, and told it's not our place.... I had to witness another client physically help another client who almost walked into traffic and killed herself... and that client was met with attitude. Overally it's just not a kind or calming place... idk if things have improved since I left, but this place is up there as one of the worst places I've ever went to for mental health and suicidal ideation. I personally recommend West Coast or Akua, 2 of the places I'd say actually do whatever they can to help you and they encourage clients to constantly advocate for themselves... Also the lack of favoritism is refreshing, and there are group activities they encourage you to attend, for current clients and alumni. Also the therapists and case managers are ABSOLUTELY fantastic!!

I found this Treatment Center online and was very scared to call; mostly because I wanted to help save my son from Opioid addiction so much that I was ready to believe anything I was told. From the get-go when Josh answered the call he made me feel comfortable and answered ALL my questions. He understood this was going to be a process and made himself available for any ongoing questions I would have or my son would have. He responded to all of my texts and calls without hesitation. The intake process was very discreet. Normally they pick up patients at the airport and drive them into Tijuana/ Rosarito; but we decided to drive my son all the way there to see the clinic with our own eyes. Aeden and the staff were extremely welcoming and had no problems inviting us in. I don't think it's very common to have families take their patient all the way there; but they never made us feel uncomfortable. Once there Aeden explained the reason the intake process is so discreet; it makes sense. They were very respectful of my son's addiction and never made him feel judged. Aeden took the time to answer our questions and address our concerns while at the same time making my son feel welcomed and (more importantly) understood. We later met Dr Casillas who (again) explained the process. The doc gave our son a full medical review to make sure the treatment was safe for him. The clinic administrator (Valeria) is super nice and was very respectful when it came to handling the payment for the treatment. We even met their doggo- Pancho! The treatment center/ house is very clean and comfortable. They have a full time chef that makes the patients anything they want! They have a large TV with Netflix and even an Xbox. They gave us the WiFi password within the first few minutes. They'll feel right at home while they're there. The view of the ocean is amazing. The beach isn't really accessible but they are a few hundred yards away- so the beach breeze and smell is always enjoyed. They have a heated spa and a sauna room available. We nervously left our son in their hands; but we felt a lot more confident about the center, staff and treatment. Our son stayed for one week (7 days). They housed him, fed him, treated him and cured his addiction pains & withdrawals! My son was allowed a phone so he was always a phone call, text or FaceTime away. They kept us in the loop at all times too. Aeden texted me before, during and after his treatment. By the end of the week my son only spoke praises of Aeden and the entire nursing staff. You could immediately notice that he was transformed by this experience. My son even told me with a huge smile, "It worked!!" He now has a REAL chance at getting his life back and beating his addiction permanently with ongoing behavioral therapy. Experience Ibogaine is the real deal! They genuinely care about their patients. Compared to other places I researched- they are the most affordable. Josh, Aeden, Valeria and the entire staff are great people. If you have a family member that struggles with addiction or you are struggling with addiction- I pray you are able to go to "Experience Ibogaine"!!

Chicken lasagna was downright cold and had a strange overpowering lemony flavor. Snacks could be canned mandarin orange slices or merengues and a cheesecake cube. I had to ask for protein sources in lieu of the served meal. Every time. I'd ask for a simple scrambled egg, it would arrive overcooked and tepid. Otherwise times, substituting wasn't an option being told the kitchen was closed. Recommend ordering delivery. Something that can't be changed and is a con: the street noise at night can be VERY loud. However, Bella is one of the few recovery centers that is a certified medical recovery center. That's a huge selling point for me. I'd stay again and just plan on ordering food delivery.

The only reason why I'm leaving 2 stars is because the therapists on site were actually helpful and did a great job. But the management and payment system is an absolute mess. After a month or two of being in I asked my therapist if I have an outstanding bill and if so how could I pay it off. She had no clue and lead me to another therapist, which lead me to another, which lead me to another. No one had any idea of if there was an outstanding bill or how to pay if there was. Since there seemed to be a consensus of no one knowing I assumed that my insurance was covering it. Man was I wrong... I graduated in July and moved on with my life, next thing I know 4 MONTHS LATER comes a bill. They expect me to pay one lump sum of cash that I just dont have. Hence why I was asking earlier in my enrollment so I could make manageable payments. So in mid November I made a call to the number listed on the bill to see how it could be resolved. No answer so I leave a message. Maybe I could have reached out more but I figured its the holiday's they must be busy someone will get back to me. Wrong again THEY SENT ME TO COLLECTIONS! I try to reach out and see how we are able to work things out and instead they choose to ignore and potentially ruin my credit! Again this review does not reflect the quality of the help I got with the staff. But unless you want a hefty bill months after you finish, I would look for help elsewhere.
