When it came time to order graduation stoles, I knew exactly who to go to. I needed 12 graduation stoles embroidered, each with different wording. Although his shop is small and tucked away off the side of the road, don't let that fool you. Cam is incredibly genuine, detail-oriented, and takes pride in his work. He asked plenty of questions to make sure he fully understood what I wanted and even created a quick mock-up when I dropped off the stoles so we could visualize the final product. During the embroidery process, he also called to confirm the wording and placement one last time to ensure everything came out exactly as I envisioned. His turnaround time was quick, and he called as soon as everything was ready for pickup. I would recommend bringing your stoles to him as early as possible during graduation season since he has many orders to complete. I paid half upfront when dropping off the stoles and the remaining balance when I picked them up. The embroidery only costed me between $12-20 per stole depending on what was embroidered. The embroidery itself was excellent. The stitching was clean, professional, and didn't warp or distort the fabric at all. Even the backing was trimmed neatly, so it wasn't uncomfortable to wear. Overall, I highly recommend Cam's embroidery services, especially for graduation stoles. He's located just a couple of miles from the SJSU campus, making him a convenient option for students looking for high-quality custom stoles at about a fraction of the price of what the university charges.

The storefront is a bit confusing to find if you haven't been before because their suite is located inside an office area. When I dropped off my tops, I talked to an employee who noted down my design and information. I ended up paying $15 per top which I believe is quite reasonable. Their turnaround was really fast too; both of my items were ready for pick-up 2 days later. I initially contacted them via email regarding their services and overall their communication is quick and clear. Sherry and her team are very swift and kind. She told about how her shop supports individuals with special needs which I think is great. Would highly recommend!

Edgar, the owner, is always very responsive, professional, efficient, and easy to work with. The staff walked me through the tufting process and showed me examples of how to tuft properly and efficiently. I even carried a can of Diet Coke to the session as inspiration for my mini rug. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, and they helped trim and flatten the rug at the end. I also got to make a picture frame using decoden art - picking out my favorite charms and decorating the frame one by one. As you can tell, I chose food- and toy-themed charms to reflect my hobbies. It's such a great idea for date nights, birthday parties, team-building events, or family activities. Especially if you've never tried it before, it's easy to pick up and a lot of fun!

It took us some time to learn how to use the tufting guns properly and it felt like they were understaffed. It would've been nice to have more guidance throughout the process, like if we had any questions we had to wait a very long time for a staff member to be available to help. The seating for tufting is also very close together and it can get a little cramped. But as I mentioned earlier, we were very happy with our finished rugs. After we finished tufting, it took them about an hour to finish them off and we were able to take them home the same day. We also did decoden, which was fun! I was impressed by the charm collection, but it was very hard to find letter charms since they were all mixed up and scarce. Overall, the crafts turned out great, just disappointed by the service. I understand that it was a weekend evening and it wasn't the staff's fault, they were all very kind and understanding. Just understaffed! With tufting especially, having more staff available to help throughout the process if needed would make this experience much more enjoyable.
