NEVER GO HERE FOR ANYTHING! This was the absolutely worst experience I've ever had in my life in the Parts Department. I go in looking for some parts to fix my 1999 Taurus SE. The first person I spoke with was Zack Young. He was on the phone, so I waited for him to get off until I was pulled into the back room by another gentlemen whose name I do not have, we were trying to figure out which parts I needed when we kept getting interrupted by other employees. Which made this interaction drag out while he sat there and worked on other projects while I watched, and waited for him to finish so we could keep discussing my problem. Now I leave to grab the part I need to match at the dealership, some mounting bracket bolts. I come back up to the dealership after identifying another part I need. This is when I run into Zack Young for the second time. He is off the phone and being extremely helpful, he tells me they don't have the part, but SAM PACK'S FIVE STAR COLLECTION has the part. I ask him, "They have the part?" He says, "Yes, they have the part." Now we all know calling ahead of time is procedure, no call was made, but all efforts to get me to leave were made. So I drive out to Carrollton, which takes a little over 40 minutes with traffic. I get there, and they of course do not have the part. On top of this, it is the same damn thing...this guy is taking calls spending 10 minutes on the phone ordering parts for other people when I'm sitting there like...why can't we order my part before you pick up that phone? He tells me that I can't order the part and I should go to NAPA. After telling me to leave and go to NAPA, he refuses to give me directions to NAPA. (This guy is MR. LEORA by the way, I will be writing a review for him as well.), and refuses to give me the part number. Saying his database is different than the Ford parts database? Well it turns out he was of course wrong, it is the same. So I head back to the dealership in Grapevine, where I could of ordered this part to begin with but that option wasn't given to me because they said the part was there in the bigger parts division. Now Zack Young was gone upon my third trip to Grapevine. However this introduces the rudest person I've met to...JOSEPH CRAWFORD. You are an extremely rude person! When a customer comes in and explicitly states they are aggravated due to the mistake your co-worker made, it would be nice if you actually LOOKED AT THEM. I know, it is difficult because you're so exhausted and worn down from speaking to your co-workers all day, but is it too much to ask to look at me? On top of this he kept interrupting me when I was talking because he was more concerned with what the girls were doing in the cashier department. When a customer is trying to spend money, why are you ignoring me to speak to your co-workers? Completely unprofessional! It doesn't stop there because after getting all this cleared up, offering me no type of apology or comfort, and staring at the desk the whole time...lets me walk out and keeps the part I brought. Now after walking out to my car, I am down right pissed. I turn back around, walk in there and ask him if he has the part? His response? NONE, there is no response! He simply nods his head at the desk because speaking to me is clearly beneath him. So I am about to leave, I am out the door when I say you know what...NO MORE. I cannot allow this man to be passive-aggressive and rude with no consequences. I walk back in, ask for his card, ask for the other guy's card, and without any hesitation just brushes me off again. Now this guy probably thinks he had the last laugh, believing he can treat anyone he wants with disrespect in his workplace and there will be no consequences. Well this is the consequence, a customer vowing to NEVER return, to tell EVERYONE to NEVER go to this location to buy EVERYTHING from other locations, and when the ownership wants to know why their bottom line dropped 5 points the past two quarters you'll find these reviews. Afterwards when you're doing performance reviews for your employees perhaps these comments will stand out. Perhaps you might consider either retraining, reprimanding, or removing some of these individuals. Thanks for your time! read more
