I grabbed a block of fudge which was super yummy and to my shock they have French macarons in stock!! I'm a huge macaron snob and absolutely approve of the macrons sold here. While the macaron's are slightly on the smaller size the quality is top notch. I'd rather have the slightly smaller quality macaron than an oversized one that tastes like poop! We first worked with Lauren on our wedding cake about 5 years ago (see picture). We asked for something simple, romantic & a little moody and she created the most perfect cake for us. We always had her in the back of our mind for a future special occasion. Flash forward and we couldn't help but think of her when we had a new baby to celebrate. She created this incredible cookie and ganache cake for my baby's first birthday party. We gave her free reign and told her to surprise us and we were slack jawed at the finished piece. It's tucked away on a side street rather than the main road, making it a great "hidden gem" discovery. Inside, it's a cozy space with some seating, and as soon as you walk up to the counter, there is a display case filled with a huge variety of options. The donuts are unique because they are literally bite-sized, which makes them perfect for sampling different flavors. We ordered a box of 16 various donuts along with a chai tea; the donuts were the perfect consistency for a quick snack and the chai was very tasty. We are already looking forward to going back to get some more!
