Quality ice cream and even the small is massive. Excellent service and very nice folks. I've waited in line maybe 5 minutes but it's so nice outside I do not mind. Now, they took maple walnut off the menu. I always get that when I see it, since it's harder to find. Well now it's harder. Guess I need to go to Stewart's for it (iykyk). Peanut Butter Cup Mixer: This was mediocre since it was mainly vanilla ice cream and lacked peanut butter flavor. However, it did have a good amount of peanut butter cups mixed in. Price: $5.75 Rate 6/10. 1. 1 scoop of Panda Paws & 1 scoop of Trash Can with Cookie Dough Pieces: The Panda Paws consisted of peanut butter and chocolate chip ice cream which was very flavorful and sweet. Rate 8/10. The Trash Can supposedly consisted of m&ms, oreos, and cookie bits. However, I only tasted oreos. This flavor was overall very bland. Rate 5/10. The cookie dough was very good though! Open till 10pm so if I'm on my way back home I make it a point to get some Ice Cream! I love the specialty flavors especially the creamsicle! I tried everywhere around the Pine Bush area and nothing came even close to this place. Soft serve is the best around. Orange and cream is great, and right before the season ends, Pumpkin is top tier. I loaded up on pumpkin ice cream sandwiches to stock for the winter and couldn't wait for this place to open in Spring. so tried here for some good ice cream since my local stand in my area closed earlier for the season then usual. heard good things about the price. so after got here, browsed the menu, seeing what good, I asked if they had strawberry short cake and they did look for me and did not have any left, so I tried the brownie sundae instead and had cannoli ice cream with it. they told me the brownies cost extra, am like in my mind its a say brownie sundae and brownies cost extra, then what am paying for it. then they tell me its extra for nuts, am like cheap crushed peanut you charge extra for on a sundae, come on, sundaes usually have them by default and oh extra for fudge. am like wow its like buying a video game, where you expect to get a full game and you get piece meal though DLC content. could just said screw it, but I drove a good distance to this place which one of few stand still open for the season and leaving empty handed would suck. so the sundae which is price at $5 even with tax included which am surprised they have a little sign that points that out. all together for my ice cream adventure cost me $1.20 extra in DLC context so I can have a the complete sundae package together for $ 6.20. now for the description of that adventure, the cannoli ice cream was pretty good, but fell short of making think of cream. cheap peanuts crushed you could get a can at dollar tree, subpar. the hot fudge tasted great and only part that seemed like took effort to make taste great, but who know, could be canned and heated for use. I found the portions pretty decent, at least I felt like winner somewhat after my lackluster trip. kudos for having lids to the sundae cups, did not want to stick around and wait for more ice cream DLC to complement my piece-meal frozen treat to become available for purchase. read more

After rediscovering it a couple of years ago, I introduced my boyfriend to it (who, might i add, is a diehard ice cream critic) and he fell in LOVE with the ice cream. I have a relatively simple order (hard vanilla ice cream with hot fudge) which never disappoints. My boyfriend has ever changing orders and they are all fulfilled exceedingly! He loves everything he's ever gotten - he's never faced disappointment! The staff is okay, it is comprised of a bunch of teenagers who don't seem to really love their job but they do it fine. The service is quick, the ice cream is great, and the experience is enjoyable. They only accept cash (which is no big deal for me) but could be a problem for some. We took our dog for a ride to upstate NY near the Catskill Mountain because hubby wanted to show me the beautiful fall foliage and to show me the place where his parents used to take him when he was a child. A lot of New Yorkers went here during the summer in the 60s-90s but the place is no longer a popular destination. Anyway, on the way back we ended up at this ice-cream house. Oh boy oh boy, too bad they didn't have anything for our dog Sandy but that's ok, she had plenty of treats already. So we treated the parents (us!). Throw a house warming party here and I bet everything melts immediately! Hubby got me a super-duper ice-cream to make me sleep on the way back so he could "drive in peace" *=) I'm pretty sure it was pumpkin because of the pumpkin season. Well, he got himself a much bigger ice-cream with some sprinkle and toppings of chocolate funky looking ice-cream (not fair!). You know how I feel about desserts in general. From all my reviews, desserts seem less appealing to me except when there's no other houses to visit except the ice-cream house then the dessert is my meal.
