Went here on Friday June 13th 2025 with my parents to get some ice cream after dinner at nearby Captain's table. Was a bit of a line too! Before you know it, it was our turn, and the line did move quickly. I ordered the cotton candy and queen of hearts in a cup, My dad ordered Queen of Hearts and Black Cherry in a cup, my mom ordered a soft vanila cone with chocolate sprinkles. Stopped by for ice cream. They have two dairy free options--strawberry marshmallow and cookie dough and of course all the Italian ices. Initially I was going to get my old favorite Rosati Gelati but the attendant told me they're not allowed to mix a non dairy option! So sad. I ended up with a blueberry icy. It wasn't her fault, she was very nice. They really need to have more non dairy cream options. Not sure why they wouldn't create a rosati gelati non dairy mix. I would've had to buy two and make it myself. Believe me it crossed my mind. The icy was good, no complaints there. It's nice to buy ice cream here then go to Airplane park on a nice day. read more

choices of ice cream : I'd like to see chocolate marshmallow or pineapple coconut or lemon. They have a wide variety tho the Rocky Mountain raspberry chocolate chip is my fav. I'm glad they have Orange sherbet and vanilla twist. The price is high tho but that's what we all deal with. It how times change. So it's a real luxury on my budget. What I don't like is : you have to ask for a napkin as it's dripping and they give 1. They give you a cone with paper and their not touching the paper their actually touching the cone with their hands. When the cone is dripping on hot days yu have to ask for maybe 2 napkins one for the drip and 1 for your mouth and hands. another thing is that tip jar- for college. I do think when they file taxes tips are on the tax form as taken out. Ike on waitresses they have to report tips with irs. Tips at the ice cream store it should be illegal as #1 it's the persons job to serve us ice cream we can't get it ourselves and their not walking to my table to serve me I'm walking up to them. I see tips jars everywhere even at a donut shop. etc. it their job to do what their suppose to do. it should be reflected on what the boss pays them. no one helped me for schooling why should we pay extra for an ice cream cone which is costly enough. is that fair to clerks in a pharmacy or grocery store or any other retail clerk or cashier . you don't see a tip jar at the register for old lady needs new shoes at the grocers it's their job to serve ring up and be nice. these gals at the ice cream store aren't always nice they almost hate their job. like were a pain and they have to put down their phone or stop the conversation between friends.some of them, they don't say hello or thanks for coming I mean without us a customer they wouldn't have a job as the place would close within it customer's. read more

The people here are so nice and the scope is very generous. They actually care about people being happy getting ice cream. Service is wonderful and especially the girl serving me with a big smile. Please support their college fund tipping jar. Ice cream is good. Not a fan of some of their flavor as they can be a bit too artificial. Love the peanut butter chip thou. Five star for service still. Ambiance is very family friendly. They have kid sized with reasonable price. This is like an old school ice cream parlor should be and nothing fancy. read more

No need to complicate ice cream! I highly recommend the Cookie Monster Sundae. Vanilla creamy ice cream, with delicious chocolate syrup, chocolate chip cookies, oreo cookies and whipped cream. This sundae is large enough that could be shared with someone else. The only recommendation I would suggest it that the chocolate chip cookies felt a bit stale. Can't wait to be back! read more

I stumbled upon this ice cream stand while waiting for someone who was at the doctors office across the road at Crystal Run Healthcare. Had a delicious scoop of Perry's coffee ice cream. There were lots of enticing choices. I sat at one of the shaded tables out back and discovered a pretty little stream. And THEN I discovered the Heritage Trail (rail trail) is literally on the other side of the stream! So I took a short post ice cream walk in the shade on the rail trail. Serendipity!!! Tip: if you go to the far end of the parking lot (in the direction of crystal Run Healthcare), you don't have to get your feet wet crossing the stream to get to the rail trail--there is a land crossing. I am going to mark this spot and someday I will ride my bike on the rail trail and stop here for ice cream. read more

There is no main menu...just lots of different signs posted all over the place that list the available flavors and toppings. I found this to be a tad overwhelming and I didn't know where to look first. I was not yet in the swing of ice cream ordering, and this was a new place, and it was 32 degrees out...three variables that will inevitably throw off even the most die-hard ice cream lovers. We both settled on a waffle cone with rainbow sprinkles (vanilla soft-serve for me and strawberry soft-serve for him). The waffle cone was freshly made and not overly huge. We had to ask for napkins, which is a pet peeve of mine (no one should ever have to do that when ordering ice cream...you're gonna need them!) They filled that sucker to the max and I almost worried about spilling it in the King's ride (almost). Love at first taste...soft-serve perfection! Even the sprinkles were excellent. Proof that ice cream rules, even in freezing temperatures. read more

I rarely carry cash, I wish they would upgrade because I brought a child with me and couldn't buy her any because they have 4 Windows, and all are cash only. I love Wally's and I NEVER GO TO MR. CONE!!! Why would you go to Mr. Cone? THAT IS OBVIOUSLY NOT HIS NAME!! It is just a PLOY to make you think he was RAISED AS AN ICE CREAM CONE--which he was NOT!!! Ice cream is not the best I have had in the county but it was good. They need to add more content to the items that mix ice cream and candy etc. together. They skimped in that area. Mine hardly had anything in it. My biggest issue here was the staff. The girl helping us was really nice but the older man who was either a manger or the owner was very rude. I had a group of 4 people with me and I ordered something they had to use the mixer to make it and he was so mad because it was 10 mins before closing time. Then someone else in my group needed the mixer and the guy actually yelled at the girl helping us and said this is the last thing for the mixer!! We apologized to the girl helping us because he was so rude to her and she actually looked nervous. Now what if the rest of my group OR the 5 people on line behind us wanted to use the mixer? Be grateful for the customers and not in such a rush to close shop. Sorry you had to wipe down the mixer an extra time. Geesh! read more

My kids and I love this place. We try and go almost every weekend during the summer. It is our go to spot for soft serve ice cream and any other ice cream craves we have. The banana/ strawberry twist is my favorite. The kids like to try different things and they are never disappointed. People are very friendly and the outside seating area is nice too.
