So I mosey in and right away you can tell it's a locals joint as a handful of people look up from their delicious looking sandwiches and kinda wonder why they've never seen you round this small southern town before... No sweat everyone was very nice! I ordered the garden club which was cheddar, ham, turkey, bacon lettuce and tomato served on a pressed hoagie and it was perfect... The sandwich was juicy and crisp on the outside the lettuce was crunchy and the cheese was mostly melted to the bread, it was just great! I wish I took a picture but I was hungry and wolfed it down before remember my Yelp etiquette... I got out at $9 for the sandwich and the drink and didn't have to wait long to be served. I wish I had room because they had some delicious coconut and blueberry cakes on the counter for dessert. Careful though cause they are only open from 11am to 2pm for lunch and that's it! It was very busy and it took a while to get us our food unfortunately (partially my mistake, I should have ordered ahead). All the customers seem to know each other in here, so we stood out like a sore thumb, and got some odd looks. The staff was friendly, regardless. The prices were very good, and the food was good also. The prices for what you get were excellent. We would consider stopping here in the future, if ever passing through.

Some observations I made during our last couple of stops at locations during our trips: The portions of the sides are now much smaller. The corn bread is smaller and the biscuits are also smaller and not as lite and flavorful as before. The service is OK, but there is no attention to checking on the meals after served and no offers to bring a drink refill or more biscuits. We may start looking for other places to stop.
