I had a very disappointing experience with Sullivan Tire. Before dropping off my vehicle, I…read morespecifically called and confirmed that I would not be charged just to diagnose the issue. I was told "bring it in no worries, we gotcha" Based on that information, I brought my vehicle in. When I picked it up, I was unexpectedly charged $200 for the diagnosis. If I had been told there would be a fee, I could have made an informed decision before leaving my vehicle. I have no issue paying for services when the costs are communicated upfront, but being told one thing over the phone and charged something completely different is unacceptable. I'm leaving this review so other customers are aware and can be sure to get any pricing in writing before authorizing service. Poor communication and a lack of transparency like this erode customer trust. I won't be returning, and I hope this review helps others avoid the same experience.

Needless to say, my budget was limited and time was of the essence due to my work requires travel. Bob did all the brakes, rehabbed the exhaust and took care of the dozen other items on a Saturday afternoon of me delivering it too him. The mechanic was working on a car in the garage. He say me stopped and came over to greet me. I told him what was going on. He says I can look at it for free, then give you a fair price and see if you want to do it here. He had an opening because someone else hadn't shown up today. He looked at my car. Took the tires off and told me what was wrong. He let me look at the rotators and I could see how worn-out they were. He gave me a great price for what needed to be done. He also patch a hole in my tire too. I am very happy I pulled into American Brake Service. I feel like I got a fair deal and everyone was super nice. It is great driving away from a mechanic and not feeling ripped off. I would totally use American Break Service again.

If you are almost anywhere in New England, this is THE auto repair shop to trust with your car…read more I'm serious: These are the best auto mechanics we've had the good fortune to discover, anywhere in the U.S. (And I don't say that casually, as we've lived in states from California to Texas to Florida, and had car repairs in all of them.) This week, my husband and I were concerned about an upcoming long-distance trip. We'll be driving our 2002 Honda CRV from Maine to Florida... and our car has nearly 350,000 miles on it, and it's been making some odd noises. (Fortunately, during an earlier trip to New Hampshire, our car had needed a repair, and Accomplished Auto was nearest to our hotel. At the time, it was sheer luck that they turned out to be one of the most trustworthy, friendly, and affordable mechanics we'd ever found.) So, during this trip, we didn't hesitate to call them for an appointment, and make the 2+ hour drive from where we're staying in Maine. Accomplished Auto gave us a next-day appointment. That was a relief! Today, by noon, we knew what needed the most immediate attention, and what could be postponed until we get back to Florida. And, just as important, their prices were very reasonable. This shop's staff are friendly, and the team have that perfect combination of integrity and honesty. They respected our rather tight budget limits, as well. If you are anywhere within a few hours of Concord, New Hampshire, and need car repairs, I recommend Accomplished Auto. It is the very best repair shop my husband and I have ever found.
