She took the time to explain everything in a way that felt genuinely helpful. While the car was on the lift, her team flagged brake wear and showed me photos of the actual wear points. They explained when I'd get a dash alert and what to expect from there. Here's what really got me: I had just been to the Audi dealership two weeks earlier for my 40K service. Not a word about the brakes. Reflex caught it, documented it, and walked me through it without me even asking. That's the kind of shop you keep coming back to.

They not only provide great service, but great education on how to properly maintain your car in a 4 season environment like NH. The service has improved over the years to include a free loaner car for extended service needs, detailed reports to review work being done, a proper alignment tool for Quattro/AWD systems, and have used their Pre-Purchase Inspection service to boost confidence before making that big purchase.

He did a pre-purchase inspection for me which was thorough and helped a great deal and when I saw that the muffler needed attention and I was coming from out of town he fit me in that day even though he had a number of other cars working. I only wish they were in my town instead of up in NH.

Don't trust this auto shop. They don't know what they're doing. I brought my car in a very common…read moreHonda Accord for a valve cover leak repair. They said the VTEC solenoid needed to be replaced. I trusted them and let them replace it in addition to the valve cover gasket. After this my car did not run and would not idle and stalled out driving it out of the place when they said it was all set to be picked up. They spent the next two weeks trying to figure out what was wrong with it and did not correctly fix it. I ended up having to bring it to Honda directly. Honda was able to fix it in Concord in one day. All the additional diagnostic work with Brutus cost me over $800 and they still couldn't fix it, this $800 did not include the money I had to pay Honda to fix what Brutus had done. They then offered me a credit for that work. We brought my wife's Nissan versa in for something simple. We told them the AC wasn't working. It had already had a vacuum test done and been recharged with uv leak detector added and still didn't work previous to bringing to them. We also suspected it had an exhaust leak. They did another vacuum test refilled it again even though we had told them it had already been done and then they said it could not be verified whether the the AC system worked. They also said they could not fix the exhaust leak and we'd need to bring it to a different shop. They then said the charge would be $160 we picked up my wife's car and did not pay this. We had requested they call us before doing any work. They never called my wife. They sent me a text message even though it is not my car that the work was completed. They never got authorization to do the work after they inspected it. Do not trust these people do not work with them. They do not know what they're doing. Additional update. We brought my wife's car to exhaust shop to be repaired. They said the exhaust leak was not in the piping as Brutus had told us but was in the gasket and it was a simple gasket replacement and they were able to do it in under 2 hours. Once again Brutus was not able tocorrectly use the issue and it was a simple fix they could have done if they understood what they were doing.

I couldn't figure out what was wrong with my car so I took it in to Kelley Street. They diagnosed the problem quickly and did some extra legwork to get a good price on a replacement part (turned out my EGR valve was bad). They didn't have to look for a better deal, but they did and it ended up saving me about $100. The only downside to this place is that it is sometimes hard to get them to see you on short notice. Definitely make an appointment. I've also had good luck with Mom's Garage which is a few blocks east on the same road.
