In that time they hit me with $7 more of interest therefore requiring THAT to be covered also now. So they hit you with extra interest until they decide to process the payment. When inquiring about it I was told that's standard operating procedure. I tried to pay off the $7 but they wanted $9 more to take payment over the phone. Don't use these guys. They're a scam

But, today we stoped into see about a personal loan. We were helped by Matt. Banking/loan application is far from one of my favorite things to do. But, Matt made the process a pleasure. He was extremely pleasant, professional, knowledgeable and proficient. He clearly explained the process, info and numbers. Matt and Service Credit Union deserve the shout out! It dawned on me that after 10+ years as members, we have always had great service from them. In person, on line or over the phone. You can't beat their low fees either!

When I caught them they stated they would put the money back in 3 to 5 business days. This cost me over draft fees. When I tried to reach the CEO Brain Moyninan no one answered his phone on four different occasions. We are filing a complaint with the FTC. and Consumer Protection Bureau. Although I opened my accounts up at other NBT locations in NY and MA, I have recently ended up at…read morethe Nashua branch on a couple of occasions for transactions. Ive used a teller to handle either deposits that I did not want to put through an ATM or some other transaction like a bank check. The tellers have always been outgoing, friendly and efficient. Its worth noting that the customer service by this branch's staff is exceptional. On one notable occasion I had to get a sizable bank check and the teller was fairly new and still training. Unbeknownst to me they had given me the check without a signature on it. I left the bank and had already driven away when the bank manager called my cell to ask me to return and get the check signed. They were very apologetic and handled the situation professionally. The way in which they handled it actually left me with a positive impression that overshadowed the inconvenience of the original mistake. This location is on main street in downtown Nashua. Parking is either metered street parking or the city garage. ATM is the "enhanced" kind that does not require envelopes for deposits. If youre in the area looking at banking options, I recommend NBT. They are a little bigger than a local but smaller than the mega giants.

It is not Friday, payday which was an issue I ran into in the past with a different bank. So, I decide to come here on a Wednesday and nada. This branch for some reason, clearly does not know how to use a phone. I've had to call multiple…read moretimes, just for small questions that I shouldn't have to drive 15 minutes to the branch to for a 30 second conversation, just for the phone to ring without any answer and the call ending on its own and being disconnected. This has now happened on 4 different instances that I've had to call and the one time someone did pick up, I was treated with attitude and when my question was answered, I was immediately hung up on.
