When we decided that the quartz that we wanted was beyond our budget, Wandra recommended some other quartz manufacturers that could be negotiated with if we found something that we liked. We found exactly what we wanted at the second manufacturer and, good to her word, Wandra worked some magic and brought the price down into our budget. She was extremely responsive and kept us in the loop for fabrication and scheduling. Wandra then worked with us on layout, showing us mutiple layout options that would maximize the beauty of quartz' pattern. The installers were, prompt, courteous, and very neat. They did a great job with the installation, can barely see the seams. They cleaned up extremely well once they were done. I would definitely recommend EF Granite and Wandra Nunes, for a great experience with new counter tops.

And because of the type of business they run they treated us as if we were family. They redid the moisture barrier and left it in a unworkmanlike manner. They refused to come back and fix it. Why? They cancelled a job for which I paid a down payment without letting me know. Why? I was told we don't work on things we didn't install. Poppycock. Why give the estimate in the first place? And they HAVE worked on the bulkhead before, which they did NOT install! I called to ask why my work was cancelled and why they never came back to finish the job. I asked proactively if they were cancelling my sub pump maintenance appointment for next year, which they did, and never told me. They said they will no longer do business with me and nothing more. After I paid them %1,000s, being a customer since 2019. They installed 2 dehumidifiers, sub pump, back up battery, bulkhead moisture barrier and basement wall moisture barrier. John from the Hooksett office gave me a quote for work, see my earlier review, which they later took back. Huh? What the heck is going on with this company? They just keep repeating we don't do business with you anymore. If this is how they treat loyal customers, I wouldn't use them. Would you?

Our experience with Select Stone was excellent for a number of reasons. We completely renovated our…read moredownstairs rental apartment in our two family home which was built in 1900. We have never renovated a kitchen or bathroom, so we definitely need an education. Our contractor recommended Select Stone, and specifically Marcelo Araujo. From start to finish, Marcelo and his very tight team took great care of us (and we probably drove them crazy with a million questions). Marcelo: -Got us in for a consultation quickly. -Gave us a LOT of time in the warehouse and educated us on the differences between and individual properties of marble, granite, and quartz (and how each react to heat, chemicals, oils, etc). -Explained that the stone would be sealed at the factory, and told us specifically which sealer to use once the stone was installed and how often to repeat. -Asked us a lot of questions about how the kitchen and bathroom would be used. -Explained the pluses and minuses of regular height and full-height back splashes. -Explained the pluses and minuses of different types of edge/corner shapes -Helped us select a granite that compliments the cabinets and paint color perfectly. -Explained the challenges of working with old homes where every wall was not replaced and if the walls were not completely flat what would and would not work. -Explained that a lot more information would come out of the visit to measure the kitchen and bathroom. -Explained the pluses and minuses of stainless steel and ceramic sink bowls. -Gave us guidance on what types of faucets we should/should not purchase. The measuring team were also fantastic. Thorough, informative, and incredibly helpful explaining the challenges they discovered with the wall behind the stove and the bathroom walls. A full-height back splash would not work behind the stove because the wall was not flat enough. The bathroom walls were also not flat, and in some places there were going to be gaps too big to fill with caulk (and look good). Marcelo was always available for our many questions. If he wasn't in the office, everyone we spoke to seemed to know everything about the project, and were always helpful. The installation went perfectly! We will absolutely use Select Stone and Marcelo in the future, and have recommended them to friends. The only bad part? Our new tenant gets to enjoy all of this, not us!
