    Milk shake type substance still there since May on the side of the seat

    The summed up version: * Deleted codes for transmission * Interior never cleaned before we got it * No communication until we reached out to the BBB * Communication got so bad we kept a log of every time we called, who we left messages for, and if we got a call back *not washed nor detailed after us not having for 5 months The full experience: My husband and I purchased a 2015, Ram Laramie 2500 back in May. The truck we picked had just hit the lot, so had not been through the shop or detailer. No problem to us, we can wait to make sure things are done correctly! The sales team, great! Beau was our salesman, the best soul I've met, and he could get a blind man to drive and somehow it would all be okay. A few days later we go get the truck as we are told it is ready, it is not. They put the wrong truck through the shop so they essentially wash it, spray some cleaner on the windows, don't wipe it off, don't clean the interior at all. Once again being positive as that's who we are, it's fine, we can detail it ourselves. Less than 24 hours later the transmission blows. We just think okay, our luck. They send a tow truck after we told them no, we cannot drive it out to Granger after they asked us to. Not safe with a 2 year old in the back. You can basically jump forward from 5/12/22 to today, 10/18/22. This is how long we waited for a fix. They ordered a new transmission which was on back order, which my husband and I both work in an industry where things take time to show up. But it is my job as a manager, to let residents know what the status is on their appliance, garage door, etc. This is the exact opposite of what Granger Motors did. We would call, nobody answers. So we would leave messages. We would ask to speak to the parts department or a a manger in hopes to get an update. NOT ONCE did we ever receive a phone call until we reported them to the BBB. Which we are not the type to do so, but after calling and them hanging up once we said who we were and why we were calling, and then getting hung up on? Not okay at all. So we needed someone else who could help. All we wanted was an ETA... Zach and Aaron are hard people to reach. They don't answer the phones and if you leave a message, they do not call back. Great ownership and management. The silly part is, instead of calling we resorted to driving out to see if the truck was in the shop ever, and seeing them just having a good time in the sales area or just sitting on golf carts outside. The best is we could talk to anyone there to get us an ETA but not a sole answers. It got to the point that it seemed like they had our numbers memorized but if a family member called, the call was picked up on the second ring. Now, they did try to get us into a new truck which was nice, but they only had downgraded models of what we purchased and nothing of equal value. After sending one last email to Zach and Aaron, my husband got a call saying what do you want? What can we do more than we already have? So, the solution was to get a used transmission and a 3,000 mile warranty or 3 months. So we agreed, since we really wanted our truck that we have been paying $700 a month for and insurance of $300, that we were not allowed to cancel because they then refused to touch the truck without it. We got the call today saying it was ready, it wasn't washed after sitting outside for 5 months, interior wasn't cleaned, the suspicious dried milk shake looking globs are still there. Yet the rentals we had were spotless. You'd think the least they could do after not having any respect for calm customers, is wash and detail? I just figured that was a common courtesy. I know it is at Hyundai and Karl Chevrolet, not Granger. They're here to make a buck and send you on the way with cleared codes just waiting for you to break down and make another buck off you. Congrats on losing two customers. We truly hope others are not treated as we were, and we hope this is a learning experience for you all. Calling people back is so so SO important. They feel like nothing, neglected when you leave them hanging. But they can't give up, they just spent $45,000. Again, your slogan states that you value customers as family, family doesn't treat family like dirt and just forget about them. They don't hand you your newly bought tools back bent up and broke, they treat your stuff with respect. That is what we have lost, we lost respect with management at Granger Motors.

    New to me Ram 1500!

    I had the best buying experience I could have asked for with Granger Motors. My salesman, Robin, was outstanding. He was professional, helpful, and gave me a good value on my trade-in. He went above and beyond in going out of his way to get me spare keys for the truck I bought. The rest of sales staff was equally friendly and professional, particularly the two men I spoke to from the finance office. They got me a great rate and explained all the terms and the registration transfer process in an easy to understand and transparent way. I will coming back for all my maintenance and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Granger Motors to friends and family.
