We ordered three rolls, Biryani and a chicken korma. Everything was very good. My kids especially liked the Gyro sandwich.

Another item that we noticed was missing at this location was the robot waiter, which we were hoping to see. Nevertheless, when we walked-in, we were pleasantly surprised to see how large the restaurant was, with ample room to walk around the food tables, and choose our items with ease. Also, it wasn't too busy in the restaurant itself, which allowed us to choose a table of our liking near the back. Once we had placed our order, we waited about 12-15 minutes for the food to arrive. We had settled on one thali, which contained butter chicken, along with a few other lentil curries. This thali was marvellous, as the food items tasted delicious, and were freshly-made. Also, there was an ample amount, which filled me up to the brim! We also ordered butter chicken on the side, with an order of plain naan. Once again, we were impressed with how delicious these items tasted; we ended up getting refills of the naan, as it was too hard to pass up! Service was also great, as we were brought our refills quickly upon ordering. All servers were pleasant, and always greeted us with a smile. Definitely a place we would return to in the future!

Anyhow, I only tried some vegetarian items and it was not bad. They are currently offering 20% off takeout as part of their grand opening. Prices are reasonable and place is pretty spacious with seating and limited parking spots. Lots of sweet and savoury options. Would like to go back to try their mango lassi and dosa. Their samosa was good, it's different from the other ones I've tried as they don't have the big chili flakes inside which I like but it's a bit oily. I like the sauces that come with it. Tea was good too. There's options for sweets that's not too sweet which is great.

I absolutely love this place. Normally, a place that has a massive menu is a bit concerning to me…read moreas it often leads to not really excelling at anything, but that is not the case here in my experience. The reason behind the large menu is related to the aim of the restaurant, which is to showcase the various regional cuisines of India. As a result, don't expect the straightforward menu of: apps, entrees, deserts, etc... rather the menu is divided by cuisine. Aside from honouring tradition, they do offer a couple 'new' takes on some items. If you comb through a few reviews, and certainly the pics, you'll notice a must-order items is the roasted eggplant with pomegranate. It really is like nothing else I've had before and unforgettable in both taste and texture. My group also went with a famous lamb dish as well. I don't remember the name offhand, but it is incredibly soft, well seasoned and nicely spiced dish. We also went with orders of naan, veggie dishes and meat skewers. It's beautifully decorated inside and also has the advantage of being located in a heritage building in what was formerly an estate home nearly 150 years old. It's truly a unique place and one people living in the area can be proud and of showcase to visitors.

I would like to thank Sheily who was so friendly and acted professionally when we did not like the cardamom chai as it has milk and did meet our expectations . She changed the chai with Earl Gray which was really tasty. The ambiance was nice and comfort. The chairs were comfortable and the employees were friendly.

Their…read morefood is good quality, they are consistent with making delicious dishes so much so that you can count on it even if it's the tenth time you're ordering, and their quantity is great for the price. Try out their Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka, or even vegetarian options, or even Thalis. Everything is just as good. I am their returning customer, quite loyal, I would say. The staff is polite, the chef sometimes comes out to man the counter on rare occasions and greets you if you are picking up your take-out, the seating area is small and not very fancy. But that's the way I prefer it. Call me old school, but a restaurant, in my opinion needs to serve great food, and the staff needs to pleasant. Everything else can be low key. Clean, but low key.

My partner got the non-veg thali which comes with one veg curry and two meat curries so he got the chicken curry, lamb curry, and shahi paneer. Both thali came with veg, naan, rice, raita, onion, and gulab jamun. They gave us a generous about of naan which was nice. I loved all the curries but felt they weren't as flavourful as other restaurants I had in the past - but still very good. We actually had the takeout at a nearby park and there was no cutlery or napkins included so we had to make make-shift cutlery from the aluminum foil that was used to house the naan. Service was nice. Would love it if they had a thali option to dine-in instead of just take-away.
