I made it very clear he was limping, yet the vet claimed he had no breaks or dislocations, without doing any testing. I told them he was extremely scared. They claimed they were unable to calm him down. Likely, due to the fact that there was no care to be calm and have a lower volume when near him. I watched one of the staff members slam his carrier into the wall while he was in it, and yell into the backroom to verify something, all while he was trying to hide under the blanket in his carrier. When he was home, his paw got worse. We were given no care or follow-up instructions. When I called to get that info and to speak with the vet since now this kitten was not putting any weight on his paw, the extremely unprofessional receptionist denied it was possible that the vet did a sub-par job. She ignored my concerns about the care given and used the explanation of "we have people coming in from Utah to see him, so, this isn't the case". She then told me to go elsewhere. I asked to speak to someone in charge, she told me to talk to the manager, then hung up on me without providing any info on the manager. When I called back, someone else answered (she was sweet) and transferred me to the manager, I left a voicemail. I took my kitten to a different vet in town, and they were great. Very calming, compassionate, had a special kitty room, and provided him with a towel to hide in, which he loved and it relaxed him. My kitten has a broken hand. Imagine that. He's now in a splint so he can heal. Arrowhead is useless if they're busy. They take too many people and they rush through clients, especially cats. This is the second time Dr. Mike has been dismissive of our cats. He's fine with our dog, but doesn't seem to give a crap about the cats. This is extremely disappointing, and very much not okay. My kitten didn't deserve this. Didn't deserve to be in pain for longer than he should've been. It's not okay. And I don't deserve to be charged for care that wasn't even done. Do your job, care about all animals. Or be a dog-only vet. **Edit/update**: received a call from the vet. He tried to tell me he told me about the xray (which he did not bc i didn't see him or speak to him after one call when he said he didn't do an xray). He tried to convince me he did a "courtesy xray" after him and I spoke on the phone (so which is it? When we spoke or after we spoke?). Said that the new vet "must've gotten a different angle to be able to see it better" (how many angles are there for that type of break?). He said, he didn't feel anything indicating a break, (yet the new vet felt it after barely touching it.) Not a single person at that office said he chose to do an xray after all, and there's no record of it on any document. My invoice said nothing about an xray that was later comped and there's no record of said courtesy x-ray in the medical file sent to the new vet office. The story doesn't add up, at all. So that's what he does. Rather than admit he failed to provide care and apologize, he spins the story. And very poorly, if I may add. He tried to convince me something happened that didn't and has no accountability for his actions. I'm now questioning EVERYTHING he's ever claimed to have done for our babies. Every "diagnosis", every care plan, every test. Don't trust this vet. This level of poor care, is incredible. Also, the manager never called me back. Take your pets elsewhere.

Bark's does not have a formal policy for dealing with injuries to dogs within their care. And…read morebecause of their negligence, our family dog died from injuries sustained at Bark's. Please read on to be a better informed dog owner seeking boarding for your pet. For nearly a decade, my family had a rescue named Harry - we called him "Handsome Harry". He was a very small dog, but he made up for that with personality. He had a white tip on his tail that would become a blur when he wagged his tail enthusiastically. In October 2018, Harry was bitten at Bark's Play and Stay. He must have been bitten by a much larger dog, as there were large puncture wounds on either side of his head. On the Saturday that Harry was bitten, which we understand can and may happen, BUT my mother was not called by Bark's to notify my family about the injury, nor was he taken to the vet. On Sunday, when my mother arrived to pick him up, his head was swollen, he was dehydrated, and nearly unresponsive. He was taken to an emergency vet on Monday, where the vet informed us that his injuries had started to abscess. Harry died the next day, and it left my family devastated. All we wanted, was for Bark's Play and Stay to create a formal policy and process to better protect dogs in their care in the future. My mother recently reviewed Bark's stating the same thing, and her account was conveniently reported as fraudulent to Facebook - and thus the review has temporarily been removed. We just want owners to be informed, so what happened to Handsome Harry never happens to another dog under their care again.

PET EUTHANASIA SERVICES…read more Several weeks ago we were faced with the terrible need to put my dog and best friend to sleep due to illness. After a long conversation with our regular vet we decided to do what was needed where Mac was most comfortable and relaxed in his home of over 13 years. He recommended a call to to CodaPet where relevant info was taken by a very professional and respectful front office person in Denver and told us we would receive a call back from the vet who would be performing the needed services. Shortly after we received a call from Dr. Alicia and we talked in the most sensitive way about our concerns and needs for our family member. The next day she came to our home at exactly the appointed time and we reviewed the plan and what we wanted. Her empathy for us was extraordinary while she did what was needed. Since the event she has communicated thoughts and feelings to us in writing following the whole experience. I don't wish anyone to have to go through this kind of experience but the services we received were more than we ever expected for our dog and his family. The process was professionally done from beginning to end with incredible empathy for all concerned. In fact we expressed our gratitude to Dr. Alecia for her gift to Mac and us. We as a family highly recommend CodaPet and their team of professionals.
