She hired a personal wedding planner to help make her dreams come to life and it was beautiful. HOWEVER, let me just say my bride showed incredible compassion and grace day of because if this had been MY day I would be getting my money back. The staff of the barn was disorganized and SO rude. They made comments about the bride and her family as well as the groom and her family TO GUESTS at the wedding. They were also exhibiting the same behavior to an entire wedding group the day BEFORE the wedding. I know some of the other vendors who were staffed at my brides wedding personally and they even said that the coordinator is rude and hard to work with and that's it their least favorite venue to work with. The unprofessionalism of this woman ALONE would lead me to NEVER recommend this venue to another person or family who is looking to host one of the most sacred and special ceremonies of their lives. Like I said my bride had a wonderful time because she didn't let it ruin her day but I would NEVER wish that experience on some one else. Your wedding day should be all about you and you shouldn't have to worry about a grown woman exhibiting such immature and UNPROFESSIONAL behavior.

We were both fond of Nature and wanted a laid back but fun atmosphere for our wedding, something cool and beautiful but not super flashy. We also love good food and music, and like unique things that make guest's go 'Wow!'. Finding a place that had flexibility with decor, good customer service and great food is usually challenging. After narrowing our 'To Visit' list down on the Knot, we took the 30 minute drive to Meadow Ridge. We immediately got a very warm welcome from Seneca and her family, who treated us to hot local cider that February. We told her about the somewhat cozy theme of our wedding, plus our love of nature and good food...It seemed like we'd have a good match. She showed us the new Maple Pavilion building before it was even finished, and we fell in love immediately. You have to see it now - Giant patio that over looks a ravine that gets lit up at night, a double sided fire place, a lake as the backdrop behind the Head Table - I couldnt have designed a better layout myself. PLUS we could hold the Ceremony 50 yards away in front of a Gorgeous lake / island with Willow Trees in the background. I LOVED that vs having to make all our guests drive hours around town after a short ceremony. It was so convenient, and beautiful. For those short on time- here's a summary: However much you wish to customize and decorate your own Wedding at Meadow Ridge, you are free to do so. They will be in close communication from the start to finish. If you want fancy desserts or creative drink concoctions - No Problem. You can add your own signs, center pieces, outdoor games, music, extra lighting - and they set it all up for you like a 5 star establishment. The food is local and mostly organic, and expertly GRILLED over an actual charcoal grill. Make sure you get the Fresh Hot Apple Cider! I cant believe how much people loved the dark rum & cider drinks we offered. Overall, you will not find a better experience for the value you get at Meadow Ridge. The day went by fast, but I remember her entire staff catering to us like we were rock stars. The pavilion had perfect space for our 185 guests, and the dance floor area was perfectly setup in the middle. The crowd can explore the grounds and enjoy a cigar on the chairs by the nearby beach if desired. Parking wasnt a big deal - just a big lot with a guide helping people park. The desserts and drink we bought (which will save you Thousands) were kept cold, and eveything went off without a hitch, even with a splash of rain. The only downside I would mention is the location if you're a west-sider... But I can't fault them for that since their setup would be a lot more expensive if it were centrally located, and its more fun to have a wedding here vs a golf course. If you're thrifty, creative, and love good food in a natural setting, this is the place for you. Last I was aware (an it may have changed), using their in-house catering is mandatory when renting. We were here most recently for a club Christmas party. The food was good, the beer was cold and the place was looking festive. Parking is ample as well. Consider this venue when looking for a place for your next party, you'll be more than satisfied. I attended the latest concert by the wildly talented Dan Rodriguez and Giovanna Faye at this music venue. I was absolutely blown away by the entire experience. Atmósfaira concerts are typically located on the deck surrounded by the cathedral of trees and faux wisteria cascading from the sky. It's a dreamy setting. The forecast when I visited included rain so we were moved inside in a building with exposed brick walls and cabin vibes. There was gorgeous vintage velvet furniture (couches, chairs, and small tables) positioned closed together. Given the last minute relocation, the venue was well setup. Concert atmosphere was intimate and cozy. It felt like the artists serenaded us all. The artists were incredibly talented and warmly interactive. Drinks were available for purchase at the bar. I was very impressed with the quality of the honey pear mocktail (only $5). It was easily the best mocktail I've tasted - perfectly delicate and sweet. There was a food truck outside offering smash burgers and the most delicious lemonade for purchase. Parking was available onsite and guests were directed to their spots. The cost of the ticket was very reasonable - $20 for a memorable evening. I visited only the second concert organized by this venue, and it was felt that a lot of heart was put into organization. What about weddings? I think it's a gorgeous venue for a wedding especially for those seeking nature and forest setting. There are indoor and indoor options, lots of character, very cordial service, parking, and lots of land to roam. I loved this venue and event execution. I purchased tickets to the next concerts before even departing the venue. They happen every month, and you can find them on the venue's website. I can't wait to make more memories here!
