A special shout out to the coordinator Lori Murphy who made our tour amazing. She was so very friendly, answered all of our questions and was extremely informative during our visit. We met the Chef and even left with 2 sample boxes of cake following our tour! This venue boasts their all inclusive services provided in-house if you elect to utilize this party event center. There is also no rental fee for use of their facility. The venue is located immediately off of route 8 and has ample parking available. Thanks again Lori for your time. I spent more time and attention on getting the issue resolved than I did to plan the whole thing. While the venue has potential, the lack of attention to customer concerns and the excuses instead of results left us feeling let down. I hope the management (owner) takes this feedback seriously to improve the experience for future couples.

As the mother of the groom, it appears I was left out of some pertinent information and with this being said, I will send my kudos to the event planners at the station, thank you for your smile, support, quick thinking, and hard work! They had my back and didn't even miss a beat! Nor did it matter if it was me, or anyone else on site, they handling things like a well-oiled machine. I can't be more pleased with the turn out and the follow up. Even after the event Leanne took care of me, and that meant the world to me. Not to mention, the place is beautiful, starting with the environment, the nostalgia the place exuded and the mystery the place as a whole held right down to the very near live train going by. Make sure you tell your guests to take a walk down memory lane, and explore the restored historic site, it is just exquisite. Even with the bumps that the guests nearly noticed, we all had a marvelous time. Thank you again!

It rained on our wedding day (but it's supposed to be good luck!!) and we were supposed to have an outdoor ceremony, I was freaking out but they were able to quickly change our plans for us to an indoor ceremony and everything turned out amazing!! The first course items on the bottom plate are a cucumber sandwich, quiche, pesto artichoke pastry, and a chicken salad croissant with an almond crust. The middle layer is a plain scone which is paired with strawberry jam and a whipped cream. The top plate holds the dessert portion. This included a sweet pastry, chocolate mousse cup, and orange cranberry bread. The bread flavor changes throughout the year. The savories consisted of a red pepper quiche, spinach artichoke cups, cucumber Boursin sandwiches and almond chicken salad croissants. The standard tea includes one scone per person and I highly recommend ordering extra -- they're phenomenal and are served with strawberry jam and clotted cream. Our desserts were a raspberry lemon pound cake, chocolate and vanilla macarons and a vanilla custard in a pie crust cup with a fresh raspberry on top. By far the most amazing bed and breakfast I've ever visited!…read more The home (reconstructed and build by the owners) sits atop the highest peak in the area and overlooks the most amazing rolling hills. In the early morning hours and sometimes even during the day - the surrounding hills cover with fog and you feel like you're standing on an island in the middle of the ocean. It's utterly breathtaking. (I highly recommend staying in the upstairs bedroom! Super comfy beds, an awesome bathroom/shower, and a perfect view of the rolling hills!) A large group of wedding vendors and I photographed a styled wedding on the property and we couldn't have been happier with the end result. There are acres and acres of beautiful trails to walk, a large pond full of fish, an awesome bonfire and outdoor bar, as well as a beautiful barn on the land. The space is utterly perfect for country or outdoor weddings! I cannot wait to visit again - both for professional reasons and for personal! (Also, the owners, Sandy and Lou are two of the sweetest people I've ever met! If you love stories about history - ask them questions! They have so many great tales to tell!)

They provide you with a 3 tiered plate of options from savory to sweet. Also the option of coffee OR tea. The waiter does a great job describing each dish/item on the menu so you know what to expect. My recommendation is to change up the menu more often. Like I said earlier, I've been there multiple times and it's been the same thing every time. Their good dishes, but wouldn't be a bad thing to switch it up.
