Ok so I had my child there for a couple months. We noticed that the school horses were not well…read moretaken care of. One day she rode Ian and were told to give him his grain when he was done. When I did a big fat rat hopped into his grain pan. The grain was stored without lids and sometimes we're not fed at all. There stalls were mucked out once a week on Saturdays by lesson kids that received nothing in return. The waters were always low and on the dirty side. Some of the lesson horses went months without farriers(typically 4-6 weeks normally but these horses rarely got them done. )their hooves are all cracked and even when the lesson horses are lame they are still used. Vic was driven into his grave by having untreated blatter issues, cracked hooves and being used multiple times a day in lessons even when lame. Noelle also isn't good with children. Do you want a truck driver to train your children then Noelle's your gal. She is 90% on her phone and while my daughter was going there even though she was showing 2'3 and jumping courses Noell never advanced her past walk trot and on occasion canter. She also wreaks kid's confidence. There are horses living in the indoor arena and when there are lessons are put in the cross ties for hours on end. She lost A ton of horses due to her neglect Vic was only 20 when he passed I know horses well into there 30s. The horses are never turned out and never have time to be a horse. One of the girls there was paying for the farrier cause she felt so bad that Noell was neglecting them. Noelle also managed to misplace a winter blanket. In conclusion steer clear it has a terrible reputation with everyone in the area and it will not look good on your horsey resume. It will not help your kids take another $10 and take them elsewhere.

(This one is not for the Farmpark itself but for the Country Lights Drive-Thru which takes place on…read morethe grounds of the Farmpark.) This one is really, really simple. The below link tells you everything you need to know. 1. Go to the below site 2. Make a reservation for a day and time 3. Show up 4. Show you phone for the QR code to be scanned 5. Enjoy lights www.lakemetroparks.com/events-activities/events/country-lights-2020-2/ We went on a Tuesday night, and I made a reservation on the site about an hour before we got there. Everything was super easy and there was no line when we showed up for our 7pm time slot. Two small negatives: 1. The price at $27 bucks is a bit steep. I've got a place fairly close to me in Allentown, PA that's been doing a driving light display like this for years which is $10 less or I could go to the one at Hershey Park which would be more lights than here but is still technically cheaper. 2. In a sort of, it's not their fault category, the day prior it snowed and several of the displays weren't fully visible due to being some version of snow covered/snow obstructed. Overall this one is nice but small and before you know it, you're done. Is it worth it? For a Grinch like me, it's a waste of money, for someone who loves their Christmas, they might see this as a good investment.

Pretty fun park, we normally go during horse fest. Lots of stuff to do here, there are wagons that…read morego up and down the hill pulled by horses or tractors. Dog friendly because the paths are paved and are wide. There are 2 playgrounds total, one of them is on the top of the hill and the other is at the bottom. There are restrooms that are not the best but work. There are a few picnic tables most of them are covered. Lots of animals and lots of horses during horse fest. Overall I recommend going during horse fest. (My review from Google maps)
