He definitely saved me from a time consuming mistake with poor outcome that I would have made, because where I set my mount would have been awful! The mount/TV combination was unusual and not something Wesley had encountered before. Before doing anything he made sure he understood that the mount would work for the TV, and that he understood exactly what needed to be done. I really appreciate the attention in the "planning" phase. Work looks great and TV is still up! Thanks!

There was never one company that stood out from the rest. There were either very high installation fees or DYI installation with cheap products and always very mixed reviews. I was starting to get pretty desperate but luckily stumbled across Home Star Protection on yelp. I never thought I would rave about an alarm system but can't stop telling everyone we know how great Home Star Protection is. Tim was great at explaining everything and only sold us what we absolutely needed. Having that initial consultation really sold us on the company. Jes was very professional throughout the installation process and took his time reviewing the entire system to us. I love that they use the current system your house already has and just upgrade it as needed. I feel so secure having this system. The alarm.com app and mymoni.com are very easy to use and offer a lot of great options. It's nice to know there are still good companies out there that won't try to take advantage of their customers. You will not regret choosing this company. Thank you so much Home Star!!

If no stars was an option, that's what I would rate it. This company was recommended to us by our…read moreinsurance company and let's just say there's a reason we got a "good deal" for our security system. We had it installed the first time in April but there was an issue with the connections (it couldn't connect to the monitoring service). After four additional installation attempts (that finally seemed to work properly) and three months later, we were given a smoke detector that is supposed to set off all of the other smoke detectors in our house as consultation for our time. Turns out, that special smoke detector never worked and neither did our alarm. The alarm would go off randomly at all times of the day and night, while we were home and not at home. The company was supposed to call my husband if the alarm was set off and if he couldn't be reached, they were supposed to call me. I never got any calls when they couldn't reach him. Now we are relocating and they want us to pay the full amount to cancel the contract, which I would be happy to do if our alarm ever worked properly to begin with. We did call to have it serviced multiple times, and each time no one would call us back to set up a date and time. Don't waste your time with this company, go with someone more reputable.
