We recently moved from The Woodlands to rural Magnolia where security system cameras are a good idea. Property is large, no street lights, very nice homes. I learned of AV through our Neighborhood Resident Facebook site and sent a message. Message was promptly answered and date scheduled quickly. Communication was quick and professional with any deviation on ETA. Dex came by, was so very polite and professional. We bought a newer resale who was leaving us her $2000 Cameras and DVR. My hubs tried to connect the system and just couldn't get it to work and he can do anything. We didn't think to check the system being left behind because we never needed this type of security in 25 yrs. Well, Dex gave us the news that the DVR box wasn't working (why hubs couldn't get it hooked up). I think it was the port that was bad. He gave us a quote for another, said our cameras were 1080p so were not bad, but not the best. He went to pick up the new DVD and came to set it up. It was smaller, more compact which I like better and came with a mouse. When we saw the actual camera quality we were sick. You can't see anything. Virtually useless. Dex informed us that if somebody did come up and is caught on camera, the history stays in the DVD so if an intruder showed up it would still be able to be seen on another camera. This was comforting to hear, and we are now going to discuss having Dex come back out for installation of better cameras. I paid Dextrell $700 for labor to install speakers at my house. It took him one day but he kept bringing up "problems" to sell me more things. I bought them to just get a working system. The next day the speakers stopped working and when I asked him to come back he wouldn't come unless I paid him and I need to buy more things. I spent $4000 at the end of this project and they don't work. Absolute thief. read more

I had them mount a tv in my guest room and he was fast, friendly, extremely professional and cleaned up after he was done. Such great work and very affordable! They provided the tilted mount and hid the cords for me. I only had to provide an extension cord. I can not recommend this company enough. Do not trust this man Dextrell Simmons! He scammed me out of 1,474.96. He kept giving me the run around that he had family emergencies as to why he didnt hold up to his word and commitment into installing my husband media room. I sent him deposit in the amount of $1,474.96 through cash app and when he kept giving me the run around and not responding after hours I requested a refund. He refuse to give me a refund wanting to do the work. Im sorry when you break my trust i cant have you in my home. I then tried to work things out to where he could just give me the equipment that he supposedly paid for with my deposit I was stood up. A no show! He sent me a message after I messaged him saying that things were behind and that it would take a while! I had to file charges on him through the montgomery county sherriffs office because he refuse to give me my money back!
