Parking good on both sides of hotel. Most of rooms have a ocean view balcony. Elevator on ground floor to check in on 2nd floor. A few vending things and nice sitting area. Negative was they opened up a drain into the ocean after it had rained. So it made it hard to walk the beach. I had never seen this at another beach. They dug trenches down into sand. Definitely spoiled the beach vibe.

There was a Walmart nearby, the boardwalk and boardwalk mall were close, and there were plenty of restaurants within a short distance. The beach access was in a great spot, and the entire area felt very clean and safe. The outside pool area was modern, well maintained, and very inviting. The breakfast advertised in the lobby definitely lived up to expectations. Every morning there was a fresh breakfast along with a fun waffle-making station, which we really enjoyed. The staff throughout the hotel were extremely friendly and welcoming. There was also a restaurant on the main floor with a great atmosphere, and the food was very good. There were only two downsides during our stay. The kids' splash pad -- one of the main reasons we booked this hotel -- was unfortunately out of service the entire time due to needing a new pump. We understood that these things happen. The other issue was that the rugs in the room did not seem very clean. We ended up keeping our shoes on in the room, so it wasn't a huge issue for us personally. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely book this hotel again

Loved there was a spot to rinse off the sand from beach upon entering the pool area. One of the staff members gave great restaurant recommendations. Now, the bad. You have to pay for parking. It was additional $60 for 2 nights, but through a QRC code, not on your hotel bill. There was an extra $100 (exact) tacked onto my bill after checking in. Nobody told me where this $100 came from. So, I'm now assuming a security deposit? Will it be refunded when I check out? I asked 2 different representatives, and nobody directly told me what it was for. (Edit: it was refunded, but I wished somebody said so) I would have cancelled, but was not in a position to find another hotel. The a/c unit barely worked. We were sweating during the night. The paint on the ceiling above my shower was peeling off. That's in the video I posted. We were on the 4th floor, and had to go to the 3rd for ice. It would have been nice to know that as well. We were given a wristband to wear for use of the amenities, but nobody was wearing them, and nobody was checking for them either. Overall, I won't be staying here again.

Lynn informed us immediately that the "Amenities" (ie, pool, weight room, etc.) were not available due to damage done when "Ian" came through. We booked Unit #505. Check in was quick and seamless. The unit has recently been re-done and was spotlessly clean. The king size bed was very comfortable (and mattress was new). There are 2 bathrooms in this unit. Kitchen is nicely appointed. Full-size washer/dryer. Patio furniture was sturdy and also very comfortable. The Wi-Fi was excellent. Rising Tides Bar (same owner as Rising Tides Realty) IS open on the lower level, which was very convenient. The location is great as far as going one way up to Surfside, or the other to Murrell's Inlet for restaurants (and of course, Garden City as well). We would definitely book through Rising Tides again.

The so called two parking spaces listed will fit a very compact car. It will not fit a full-size vehicle such as a jeep or F-150 pick up truck, which we have. We tried to make it work, but a neighbor complained that we were hanging out in the road. When you back all the way in, the access to the path to get to the main house is in accessible, as well as the barn doors to the boathouse being completely blocked and unable to open. When you try to speak to them and explain the situation, they gaslight you and talk in circles. We brought our family from Utah for this trip, discussed when everyone would be arriving and that our adult sons with their finances would all be here over Labor Day weekend. If you have a family and are looking to stay somewhere on the island of Gloucester, I would look elsewhere. We agreed on a price and sent them a cashiers check via certified mail (months in advance). My guess was so they could avoid the fees. It was returned that the business address they provided was not a valid address. Upon the package being returned to UTAH, we paid for a second certified delivery to the home address of the property manager. Upon our arrival a family member was kind enough to loan us their boat for our extended stay, at that time they contacted us saying we would need to pay nearly $2000 additional in added fees for using the boat dock, it says on Airbnb and their website that the dock is not included, but does not specify a separate price. The sign on site simply says use at your own risk. There was no mention of an extra price when the total price was discussed and agreed on. Even though I disagreed with the additional fees, we agreed to a reduced rate to avoid conflict. They proceeded to up-charged us another couple hundred dollars above that agreed rate as well. If it were one mishap, you'd let it slide, but something almost daily since we arrived doesn't seem like a hiccup. Lastly, the roof has been leaking since we got here. We told the PM and of the roof leaking in the bedroom in the main house and they said they were aware and plan to have it repaired. When you try to talk to Ryan he is condescending & continually repeats himself as if you cannot comprehend what he has said. It has not exactly been the seaside R&R we planned.

We will be making this place our go to hotel for Myrtle Beach.

The desk chair was ripped and we had to slam the door to shut it.. Everything is very dated and used. We did not use the pool because we immediately checked out of the hotel but it was super crowded. This was our first stay at Waters Edge condos and it may be the last stay as well. The price we…read morepaid here was about the same for a one bedroom that we have paid for two bedrooms. The bedroom is on the street side of the building and was not large enough for any bed larger than a queen. The condo was clean and we did not have any major problems. They have two elevators which worked OK when we needed to move up and down. We had heard about two other buildings had broken ones from people renting on the tenth floor.
