You can walk straight onto beach next to pier, no steps. The hotel has a access but old wooden steps with grass around it to use. Would be great to make a ramp instead. Parking good on both sides of hotel. Most of rooms have a ocean view balcony. Elevator on ground floor to check in on 2nd floor. A few vending things and nice sitting area. Negative was they opened up a drain into the ocean after it had rained. So it made it hard to walk the beach. I had never seen this at another beach. They dug trenches down into sand. Definitely spoiled the beach vibe.

It wouldn't work for some reason so I went inside and talked with Angie at the front desk. Fabulous lady and super nice. She completely squared us up. She gave me the price on the app and even upgraded us for our birthday. We had a wonderful suite on the 12th floor with a spectacular view of the beach and a small deck to enjoy the view. The room featured two bedrooms, a kitchen, and a living room. The bed was what you'd expect from a Hampton Inn; comfortable with plenty of pillows. There was a good restaurant / bar in the hotel and a couple of outdoor pools. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would come back again.

The hotel staff were friendly and professional throughout my stay. There was also a gentleman working during breakfast on Sunday morning (I didn't catch his name) who was especially helpful and attentive. He had on a red shirt and long hair. Service like that truly makes a difference. That said, there were a couple of downsides. My oceanfront room had a noticeable wet dog smell, which was disappointing. Also, the $25 per night parking fee feels excessive. I've chosen to stay at this property for quick beach trips over the last 10 years, and unfortunately, the parking situation alone will likely keep me from returning. I also want to note that the hotel is currently under renovations (it is the off-season), so that's something to keep in mind when booking. While I'm not disappointed in the staff at all they were amazing the added costs and room issue were enough to make me reconsider staying here again.

I originally qualified for this promotional trip and booked it well before I was married. At the time of booking, I fully met all requirements. However, by the time of travel, I had gotten married, something that should have been a positive life event, not a reason to be penalized. When I arrived for the required presentation, I was told I could not participate because my spouse was not present. I explained that my husband is currently deployed on active duty, which is completely outside of my control. Despite this, I was denied participation and was going to be charged a $500 "disqualification" fee. What's most frustrating is that I showed up in good faith, ready to fulfill my obligation. This was not a no-show or an attempt to avoid the presentation. It was a situation where life circumstances changed after booking and not only that, but due to military service. There was no meaningful attempt to accommodate the situation. I was briefly told someone would try to contact corporate, but within moments was told they couldn't get through and handed a number to call myself. When I did, I was simply told "it's policy," with no consideration for the timeline of booking or the fact that my spouse is deployed. While they ultimately reduced the fee, I was still penalized for circumstances that were both unavoidable and, frankly, deserving of understanding. This was charged almost instantly after my call ended. This experience felt rigid, unfair, and lacking any empathy especially toward military families. I would strongly discourage others before booking with this company, particularly if there's any chance your life circumstances could change between booking and travel. A company's true character shows in how they handle situations like this and this was incredibly discouraging and ultimately disgusting. I fully plan to share my experience with any and all family members as well as our other service members and community as I would hate for anyone else fighting for our freedom to be penalized for doing so.

It's at the beach with high volume, younger guests that probably make room upkeep hard to do. Our room was spacious, clean, had a washer and dryer, kitchenette and a great view. The down side was no room service, a icky looking restaurant and a terrible parking garage. Parking was an extreme sport, tight spaces and bling corners. We will be making this place our go to hotel for Myrtle Beach.

Beautiful ocean front views, easy access to the beach, and convenient to restaurants, fishing piers, and family fun! Again, the building is 35 years old, has withstood many hurricanes, and has areas that are a little outdated, however if you find an independent owner, that has upgraded their unit, you'd never know it was that old. ***Recommendation*** Find an independent owner to rent your getaway! Most independent owners have upgraded their units and take pride in their places! Services/Companies that have multiple units are the ones you see & hear of issues with their units! These are the "hustle in and hustle out" units. I own #604, am very picky of who I let rent my "home away from home". We've upgraded to hardwood linoleum floors, fresh paint throughout, new doors, new over/under washer & dryer, upgraded the kitchen and appliances, upgraded bathrooms, a king bed in master, 2 singles in small bedroom, and a fold out couch. This is the newly reopened pier and one word describes it;…read more WOW!!! All concrete construction with some wood accents. There will be fishing once the bait shop opens, but that's still a ways down the road. There is no cost to go on the pier and you can access it by the main road or from the beach. From the beach you can take the steps, ramp or elevator. There's also a restaurant and a wine bar in the works. The hopeful ETA for everything to open is unfortunately the end of the summer. I already have my beach house reserved for the same week next year and I'll follow up then.

This was our first stay at Waters Edge condos and it may be the last stay as well. The price we…read morepaid here was about the same for a one bedroom that we have paid for two bedrooms. The bedroom is on the street side of the building and was not large enough for any bed larger than a queen. The condo was clean and we did not have any major problems. They have two elevators which worked OK when we needed to move up and down. We had heard about two other buildings had broken ones from people renting on the tenth floor.
