Grand Ortho and Dr. Woolbridge are top notch. She is an excellent orthodontist and truly great with kids. She works with our twins she has taken the time to sit with us, explain options, and make sure they feel comfortable. One of my sons chose Invisalign, another went with braces, and she and her staff walked us through every step so we knew exactly what to expect. They are very flexible with scheduling, which is huge for a busy family. They work around school, sports, and everything else we have going on. The whole team is patient, kind, and very thorough. Every time we come in, it feels like visiting family. Chidah at the front always recognizes my kids and makes them feel welcome, and everyone there treats us with real care. I had a great experience with Grand Orthos staff and Dr. Woodbridge. I came in to close a few gaps and overbite in my teeth. I had braces before so my expected treatment time was only for 1 year. I appreciate the cleanliness of the office as well as the technology and technique. Their process was very efficient, in terms of scans, getting my new trays, and setting my appointments. I had such a great experience that I referred a couple of patients and was offered $250 off my treatment for each referral. I was very pleased with the discount! I am also very pleased with how my teeth turned out! They are still pretty straight today, it's been a couple years since my treatment ended. There was a discrepancy in the cost for my replacement retainers. I believed the cost was one amount and when I needed to replace them, they cost more than I expected. I cannot say enough good things about Grand Orthodontics! I had braces as a teenager but never wore my retainer so I needed additional ortho work as an adult. I returned to my pediatric orthodontist in Wisconsin and he talked me into a knock-off Invisalign System (Simpli-Five) that was absolutely horrible. I had consultations at many different ortho offices and after one visit at Grand Orthodontics it was a clear choice. Service: Dr. Woolridge is so nice & accommodating. She listened to exactly what I wanted (top braces only; keep my permanent retainer bar on the bottom) and said it wasn't a problem to complete in 6-9 months. Other orthodontists said it would take 12-24 months; that they wouldn't do top braces without bottom ones; and that it was necessary to shave down the edges of my teeth - whatever that means! All of the staff at Grand Orthodontics are professional, courteous, and competent! Also, I wanted gold braces which isn't standard, but Dr. Woolridge ordered them for me from another office for a small fee! Totally worth it! Pricing: Grand Orthodontics was open & honest about their pricing model, and sooooo affordable! The out-of-pocket cost I paid for everything was less than $1500 (which was ¼ of what I was quoted at most places in Wisconsin). They let me pay in installments. Scheduling: The office was so flexible when it came to scheduling appointments. They had lots of availability and were willing to work around my crazy schedule when needed! They even mailed me my retainers because I was unable to come to the office when I needed them. Logistics: The office is in a mini mall in El Segundo, easy to get to from Lincoln/PCH or Vista Del Mar. There are always open parking spots right out front! Office: The office is spacious & everything is super clean. Each chair has a flatscreen TV to watch while you're waiting. I'll try and keep this as short as possible, but a lot went on. This was my second time getting braces so my teeth weren't that bad. All I wanted was a tooth to be lowered, a tooth pushed out and to fix some bunching up of my teeth that my wisdom teeth caused. Originally I went to one orthodontist who sold his practice to Grand orthodontist 9 months into having my braces. I didn't know he was retiring and selling it and I had no say in the matter as whether I wanted to continue with the new orthodontist or find another practice. One day I just went into his office and it was a new orthodontist. She's very nice and obviously super smart (you don't graduate dentistry school if you aren't) but it was apparent she didn't know how to fix my bite. Every appointment I had to tell her what I (the untrained non professional) wanted fixed with my teeth...She was ready to take them off, but my midline was not even centered (she has the trained eye so I don't know why I had to point it out to her?) All in all I had my braces on for 2yrs and 3 months and with the old orthodontist it was supposed to be 1yr total. Yes, covid happened and they were closed for like 5 months, but even without covid I still would have had them on for 2yrs. And guess what, my teeth still aren't right. My bite is COMPLETELY off. It got to the point where I knew she didn't know how to fix it and I asked if she had a colleague that could check on my teeth and instead of asking a colleague she just tried to put more effort into adjusting my bite...5 months of trying and still nothing. I'm unhappy with my teeth, but decided to get them off when I knew it was pointless. On top of that, the man in charge of billing was saying I owed money. I paid all of my share that my CONTRACT with the previous orthodontist stated. It's not my fault that their loose ends weren't tied when she bought his practice. I didn't sign a new contract with Grand Orth. so my contract was still valid. You shouldn't demand money from a customer that you acquired knowing your services cost more than their original dentist and expect them to pay the difference when they didn't have a say so in the matter in the first place. If I was consulted in the beginning about everything and the cost difference of course I would have went somewhere else especially not knowing her work, but I wasn't given that opportunity. That should not have been my problem and yet he was pestering me about it. It was to the point where he was trying to collect more money from my insurance (that was maxed out) and I was going to literally go to court if it wasn't resolved. Eventually after explaining to him multiple times why I shouldn't pay and talking to my insurance company multiple times, I think he understood and finally dropped it. But he said from then on out that I would have to pay for every service (checking my teeth to see if they move, adjusting my retainer...) Those were services that were included in my ORIGINAL CONTRACT and should not be on me to pay. Now I'm stuck without an orthodontist to even tighten my retainers. All in all. Super nice orthodontist, but didn't know how to correct my teeth. The billing issue just made it all worse. I am posting multiple pictures of my teeth before my braces, after my braces and pictures of how my teeth should look after consulting another orthodontist about getting Invisalign to fix the issue that shouldn't need fixing. First, I want to say that this review is long overdue. Surprisingly my desire to give a 5star review has been consistent throughout treatment and that says a lot. This place is "that place" that you will recommend to all your friends because the service is so amazing. I was recommended by a friend and have since recommended another friend who received services for(metal) braces. My review is based off my experience of receiving services for Invisalign (since 04/16). The cost of Invisalign is pretty pricy (especially if you are paying out of pocket like myself) luckily, Dr. Woolridge offers monthly payment plans and financing options. The facility is clean and has a cute stylish ambiance. Dr. Woolridge and her staff are so sweet, funny, accommodating, and professional. From the initial consultation, scheduling, appointments, and refitting of my trays; Dr. Woolrigde has really made this process fun and stress free. To reveal some background information I am a 26 year old who had braces (from a different orthodontist) when I was around 14-17 years old. I got them off my junior summer in high school. After a few years went by and my teeth had shifted to an end to end bite. This type of bite was ruining my teeth - IE: chipping and wear and tear on these bad boys that are supposed to last a lifetime - why can't we have teeth like sharks?! Anyways, so after being told by multiple dentists (was searching for a new one - found one) that I need braces to save my teeth from extra wear and tear and continued chipping. After researching and visiting many orthodontic offices I came to the conclusion that Dr. Woolridge was the best professional for the job! During the initial examination we went over my concerns, her conclusion, and I was given options and a price. If I remember correctly there were metal braces, hidden braces, clear(ceramic) braces, invisalign - etc. I went with ceramic braces. I have had them on for almost one year (May 17) and the results are awesome!! Dr. Woolridge and her staff are very gentle and they address every concern that you have. They never judge and are very friendly, warm, and good hearted people! After I get my braces off ill still drop by and say hi - they are that awesome! Her office is very clean, modern, and has a welcoming feel to it too! Their tech is definitely up to date - her x-ray machines - best tech that I've seen compared to other offices - they give off less radiation too!!! Decided to change Orthodontist recently and since I have braces I needed service done ASAP,I searched high and low for a Ortho that was very personable, friendly and attentive to my needs. As soon I walked in this office the front desk staff was so warm and welcoming, and to put the icing on the cake the office is complete and total ICANDY. The office is very neat and clean and I need that, a clean office tells alot about the staff and the Dr there, especially if they are working on the inside of your mouth!! :) Dr. Kendall Woolridge is absolutely amazing, so very friendly and nice, easy going and easy to approach. She greeted me with a huge smile and shook my hand, I loved that about her! I also brought my best friend along with me so that she can receive retainers, she also was very impressed with the attitude and clean environment of Grand Orthodontics. I brought my 20 year old to see Dr. Woolridge. He had gaps between all his teeth, and because of the cost, we waited a few years longer to see the Orthodonist. I did my research and decided to interview Dr. Woolridge. I have nothing but admiration for this wonderful Doctor. Her office is beyond clean. You can eat off the floor. The staff is friendly, and we were able to work out a payment plan! The equipment is state of the art, but most importantly, she is personable, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to see every few weeks. She said it would take a year. Guess what? It took a year. My now 21 year old son just went to see our regular hygienist, and our regular Dentist said his teeth were straight, all of the gaps were gone, and his gums were in good health. Yay!!
