I ordered for Mother's Day. When I arrived to the nursing home the flowers are totaling diff from the description on the website. I am so disappointed and my mother was also upset. I emailed to show the flowers received and their online descriptions. Where are the roses ??? That's what my mother wanted. She want some roses. Wouldn't you be mad if you paid $68 for this ? I agree with last few yelp reviews, this florist is not going by the online description to make these bouquets. Think again if you are using foryoursflowers to order.

    This is what they sent

This florist does not even deserve one star. The bouquet that I ordered from the website was nothing like the one pictured. Such a shame, as they used to have a good reputation.

Absolutely terrible! I am so disappointed in the arrangement I received versus the arrangement I ordered. Not even similar. Frankly, I am embarrassed that they sent this to my friend! I spent $85 on THIS!?!?!! I could have purchased something nicer from a supermarket!

What a terrible florist. If I ever use a 3rd-party flower delivery company again, I will specifically ask that they NOT use Grand Florist. I ordered what was called the "Egg-cellent Pastel Bouquet." They tried to switch it out for something called the "Easter Egg-Citement" bouquet. The flowers ordered were supposed to be a pastel pink arrangement, they sent yellow. The vase was way too narrow for the arrangement, didn't have the Easter eggs in it, roses and other flowers were broken at the stem. With delivery fees, tax, etc., I paid $74.82. What was delivered looked like it should cost no more than $30 - tops. When I called them to complain, they told me there was nothing they could do. The young man who answered the phone would not give me his name. A young lady came on the phone and refused to give me her name as well. I asked to speak to the owner. No luck there either. "I'm sorry, ma'am, there is nothing we can do. You'll have to call who you placed the original order from." You can call me "ma'am" and say "sorry" all you want, this does nothing to rectify this issue. I was so frustrated at their inability or unwillingness to make this right that I was yelling. Shame on you, Grand Florist. There was much more that could have been done to remedy this, but your employees took no initiative to do so. Apparently they skipped "Customer Service" training. If I could give Grand Florist zero stars, I would.

    Flower centerpieces

I would like to thank grand florist for doing an amazing job on my daughters graduation centerpieces. when I walked in to the florist, I had no idea what I was looking for, but with guidance of the professionals at this family owned Flores, I was told they know exactly what to do and I trusted them, and for sure they prove themselves 100% ,The flower arrangements were exceptional. they were so beautiful and elegant. Experience from the beginning to the end was amazing. They even came to the venue exactly the time that they said all the flower centerpieces were placed on the tables. all my guests were amazed how beautiful these arrangements were I would highly recommend grand flowers for all your flower needs. thank you Grant Flowers for making my Daughter's graduation party spectacular!!

Ordered flowers online that looked gorgeous and paid extra to get a fuller arrangement. However, that is not what was received. I am extremely disappointed in the price I paid and what was delivered to my relative. I understand it won't look exactly like the image but what was received didn't include the same flowers and was not worth the expensive price tag.

GRAND RIPOFF. My in-laws had flowers delivered to us from Germany for Christmas and were in shock at what we ultimately received. The "bouquet" we received was off by a long shot, starting with the $.99 fish bowl vase instead of the red medium vase they ordered to the complete lack of roses in the bouquet (see pics). We received a bouquet of cheap carnations and gerber daisies. Gross misrepresentation. Maybe they thought by having an order placed by someone out of the country, this was something they could get away with? Not sure, don't care. When I reached out to the store the Saturday after Christmas, to call them out on their bait and switch, the VERY RUDE male with a Greek accent offered no apology, took my information and said he would look up the order and call me back. After 2 hours I called back to get a status and he told me I would have to wait until Monday because he was busy filling orders. I told him that was it was unacceptable since the the order had been placed weeks ago and they were already paid for their service. He insisted I had to wait until Monday, and came up with multiple reasons why it was not their fault: (1) I should have called them sooner (I did not know there was a such a huge discrepancy with the order until after Christmas when I was provided with a picture of the intended bouquet), (2) it was not their fault because it was placed online and should contact Teleflora, and (3) my in laws should call then from Germany to rectify this not me. I informed him that based on other reviews this was a conman practice and said I need a call back sooner than Monday or I would visit the store myself. He then promised someone would get back to me before 2pm the next day. Which someone did and basically, although she was much more cordial, passed the buck and told me they received the order from a florist in CT. Which makes zero sense. When asked if she could email me the order from them to their store so I could understand where the miscommunication occurred, and was first told no, and then I could possibly receive it via e-mail if I didn't have a fax machine (hello, 1985). Still waiting...I don't recommend this place in the least. Send a fruit basket instead of using this place!

They were very accommodating for a last minute order for funeral flowers - called at 12pm on a Sunday and they delivered them around 2:30pm the same day. I asked for a mix of pastels with blues, pinks, yellows and was very happy with the arrangement they put together in basically 2 hours. It had really nice contrast and turned out beautiful - I'm quite picky with my flowers I thought these were really nice, very full, nice mix of types of flowers, (Wasn't just carnations/daisies, but also had some roses, hydrangea and lillies as well - note, carnations and daisies are expected for an arrangement of this size). Would definitely recommend for any funeral needs and will definitely try them out for other holidays as well.

I hope you see the whole picture. This arrangement was so beautiful.

I would like everyone to see the beautiful flowers from Grand Florist. I was so shocked at how beautiful these arrangements were. Absolutely amazing!

Ordered flowers through Teleflora and selected Grand Florist since it had the best reviews of all the places available on the delivery date I needed. I took a picture of what I ordered along with what showed up. I made extra for a premium bouquet which is supposed to be full. Looking at what showed up, it is definitely not full and it looks like the florist just grabbed random left over flowers and threw it in a vase and slapped on an ugly large bow. They tell you that they do, do substitutions due to availability but come on, this looks so vastly different! I'm starting to think with any company or shop, just to not to mixed bouquets because they end up not looking like what you ordered. Things like straight roses, or straight daisies, seem like they will be less likely to show up looking like how they were supposed to look. I notified Teleflora and they are giving me 30% off the price (with tax and delivery was just under $60) Only reason I'm not giving it 1 star is because my grandmother actually liked the flowers. She has no idea what they were supposed to look like though. Also the vase was actually kind of a cool looking vise. I would not use Grand Florist again.

    Bleeding Heart
    Maria P.

My mom passed away in June after a long illness. We went to Grand Florist to order the funeral flowers for her because we wanted the absolute best. The flowers were magnificent. I am not exaggerating. Fresh, full, stunning. We ordered the bleeding heart which was so amazingly gorgeous that we cried. The casket spray, the large cross, even the rosary beads were wondrous. I will post pics as soon as I figure out how to do that. And they were not at all expensive compared to the many florists in the Queens area. Perhaps some of the negative reviews when ordering through Teleflora are the root of the problem. You should always call a florist direct if you cannot visit them.

What i ordered on the website and did not get clearly

Although the flowers were nice per my friend whom I sent them to..... they were NOT as pictured on the website. I called to ask WHY they didn't call me to advise on the substitution of flowers they w were different color and size as well as the added greenery as you can see from the photos attached.. the man who made the arrangement was VERY defensive and dismissive before I could even finish my question.. he TOLD me I got a very nice bouquet and I should be happy!!!! WOW. Such poor customer service and attitude I am appalled and disappointed. I used this florist to support our local business and neighborhood but if he keeps up this attitude he will close for sure soon enough. As someone who's worked in customer service my entire life I would have been happy with him simply stating they didn't have xyz in stock .. instead he turned me off to ever shopping here again.

Go elsewhere, flowers arrived wilted and dead. The baskets are filled with 99 cents candies.

The arrangement shown on the website was a beautiful bouquet of vibrant pink roses arranged elegantly in a tall vase with full presentation and volume. I expected to receive exactly what was advertised in both quality, color, and arrangement. Instead, what my mother received looked completely different. The roses delivered were peach-colored, not pink, and the arrangement did not look like the picture shown on the website at all. Peach is not pink, and this was not a slight shade variation, it was an entirely different color. The flowers did not resemble the advertised product I ordered. I accidentally selected the following week for delivery instead of Mother's Day weekend, but I caught the mistake the very same day and immediately called the store. I explained the error and clearly stated that if they could not accommodate a Mother's Day delivery, they could simply cancel the order. I was told it was absolutely no problem and that they could accommodate it, so there was no issue with timing. The real issue came when I called to ask why peach roses were sent instead of the pink roses I specifically ordered. The man who answered said he was the owner, and instead of professionally addressing the concern, his first comment was a snarky remark asking if I was the one who "ordered last minute." This was unnecessary and inaccurate since I had corrected the delivery date the same day I placed the order and was assured it would not be a problem. He then told me he chose the "pink shade" he thought was best to send. Peach roses are not pink roses, and I did not ask for him to make that decision for me. Rather than acknowledging the mistake, apologizing, or offering a proper resolution, he became rude and dismissive. He asked if the problem was that my mother didn't like them or if I didn't like them, completely missing the point. He then states if she doesn't like it we can go and pick the flowers up and this is after they had already been delivered, which is both impractical and disrespectful. I also explained that I had previously worked with someone else at the store who kindly sent me photos of the pink rose options they had in stock so I could confirm the exact shade before delivery. Instead of appreciating that effort, he responded by saying she "went above and beyond" and that they are not supposed to do that. Sending two quick photos when a customer is ordering from out of state is not extraordinary customer service, it is basic professionalism. If a florist cannot provide the exact color or arrangement being advertised, the professional thing to do is call the customer and allow them to decide how they would like to proceed. You do not make substitutions income without approval especially when I spoke to someone at their store regarding the pink shade and then argue when the customer questions it. What is the point of showing customers pictures of specific arrangements on your website if you are just going to send whatever you want? If you cannot provide what is being advertised, you should communicate that first instead of deciding for the customer. This entire experience was disappointing, unprofessional, and disrespectful. I paid for pink roses and received peach-colored roses that looked nothing like what I ordered. The owner's rude attitude and refusal to acknowledge the mistake made the situation even worse. I would not recommend this florist based on both the product quality and the unacceptable customer service.
