I love this place to buy bags of coffee for gifts! They even have a punch card for buying bags of coffee. They have names like Apres-Ski, Fraser's Finest, SingleTrack, Tabernash, and Organic Winter Park. They make great gifts for the coffee lover. I also brought our construction crew pumpkin latte's last year for Halloween and they gave me a punch card for latte's too. They loved getting warm coffee while building a home in the frigid cold. I don't buy coffee very often but this place is the place to go. I prefer it over the Starbucks across the street. This coffee tastes better. read more

Given that I've stopped in here a few times this summer I thought I should look it up and write a review of it. It's the only good local coffee shop in the area that I've found so every time I drive by I stop in and refill. They have lots of different types of brews that are self-serve. If you order for-there then you get to pick out your own mug. My only complaint was the last time I stopped in I got the Ethiopian and it tasted like Play-Doh. I think it was not a problem with the brewing but rather just the bean or the roast. I've had bad luck with Ethiopian coffee in the past from other places too. Maybe some other people are into that but I should have stuck with the Sumatra. They've got a comfortable lounging area and decent restrooms, too. It's a quick stop right off highway 40. read more

This is my first Yelp ever I don't feel great about it. I've been drinking rmr since I was a kid living in Fraser. But the last couple times I come in and ask for a double (or sometimes quad) shot latte, all I can taste is milk. I have a coffee addiction people. I need the bean juice. I don't know if the baristas are new and don't know how to calibrate a grinder, or time a shot, but the spro is weak. The baristas are kind and lovely (even though they didn't call out my drink when it was finished so I stood there like an idiot for a few minutes only to find my latte is weak like earth worm). That being said; I have gotten up to par coffee from their new granby location. And will continue to stop there instead of the Fraser location. I would rather get weak coffee from rmr than stop at a Starbucks anyday.... Ugh I hate myself... read more

Alright coffee, decent breakfast. Important to note that the burritos are frozen (I assumed that they would be fresh). The women's bathroom was not that great, men's was better. Good service, Ok coffee (best I have found in town so far) NO FREE WIFI Yes that last one confused me as well. I am not paying tourist coffee price and then forking out extra for WiFi on top of a tip and state taxes. Think of it as a cost of doing business. An affordable necessity for Cafe's around the world. I have come to believe that WiFi in Cafe's should be a standard. So that makes me confused that a small town operation like this that seem to have it going on are not offering one of the staples of cafe's everywhere other than Fraser. I am a tourist, in a tourist town during Summer!! (Off season) Embrace me, entice me to spend more $ than I do on my morning coffee. Spend that $50/month and it will be repaid to you with more people like me spending more money in your establishment, more often. You won't win more people but you will retain them. I know I would be there everyday of my trip. So, do this by offering an environment where I can sit down, enjoy my coffee (and order another one) as well as a light breakfast while catching up on Social Media/friends/business. I might even take a picture or two and show other travelling money sacks how good this place is which in turn leads to more business for you. Don't mean to rant (actually I do) but complimentary WiFi in this day and age is a bare necessity. Still a 4 star review. Please don't anyone reading this see it as a negative. The cold brew was amazing and the iced specialty latte my BF got was like dessert in a cup. Great atmosphere but that's about it. Smoothie (not a smoothie!- flavored sugar juice mixed with ice!!!) and cinnamon rolls ( no way they're homemade) were not worth the wait or the money. Simply put, I was served the greatest latte I've ever tasted in my stop in here. There was very low acidity to the cup, paired with warmed almond milk, vanilla and cinnamon it was the smoothest drinking coffee I've ever had. On top of that, the staff were very pleasant and courteous. read more

One of the best lattes I've ever had, and they have the toasted marshmallow syrup (my fav). Great coffee, cool atmosphere, delicious peanut butter chocolate chip cookies, and very friendly service. This is a hometown coffee shop with little of the unnecessary glam of big box competitors. In house roasting makes for coffee roasting just they way they want it. Free WiFi available even if not listed on their website. Be sure you have a full charge as the plugs for power are scarce. Open later in the afternoons than other area coffee shops (to the west). The space is quite big for the area they are actually using right now. Does not feel like a ton of seating (30+ seats at 9 tables and two couch areas), but it seems that most of their business is grab and go. Was told by the staff that the shop is undergoing a remodel currently. Noticed that the furniture is older with many of the booths in need of repair. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Baked goods and loose leaf tea offerings as well. Only stars missing is for the worn decor that may or may not be fixed during the remodel. Will be back because of great service, good prices p, free wifi and tasty drinks! read more

When I was a local in the late 90s, this was my spot. It wasn't as big as it is now, but I still loved that I could pop in, with my RMR travel mug, fill it for a quarter and pop out. Now, I live in Boston and still have my coffee shipped from the Rocky Mountain Roastery. Gifting it is also a plus... Being that I am not a local any more, it is different to drop in and pick up a few bags. The service is different for tourists, but I suppose that is to be expected. While my daughter was at CCO this summer at the Y of the Rockies at Snow Mountain Ranch, I did drive down to the Roastery a few times for my coffee. I would have stayed if there was wifi, but instead, I got my cup, a few bags of beans and went back to the Y. That really is the only reason I drop it to 4 stars. I LOVE the coffee here. Right now, in late August, I am sitting on my porch, outside of Boston, having ground my Fraser's Finest and having a great pot of coffee. I love going to this local coffee shop to use the new free wifi. The new owners are in the process of remodeling. They've added more lighting and I think it's heading in a great direction.
