Complete rip-off and utterly unprofessional - do not trust them with your computer I brought my laptop PC in for diagnostics because it was having an issue of showing no video output to the screen or attached monitors. I specifically told them upfront that I'd already run some trouble shooting test myself in order to try and diagnose or resolve the issue. They said they could still test and see what the issue is and charged me their diagnostic fee, only to tell me later that they "confirmed" it was a failed video card - by the exact same basic testing I'd already done at home for free. Felt like a total waste of money from the start. I naively assumed they would be doing something more advanced. They were very slow to diagnose my machine and when I came in to pick it up they had to put it together while I waited. Fast forward a year later when I opened the case myself to remove the drive - and discovered the original RAM sticks were completely missing! They had never reinstalled my 16gb memory at all, leaving a 4gb single stick in my machine. I immediately contacted them to report this and asked if they still had my original RAM on hand or could offer any remedy (refund, replacement, etc.). What followed was weeks of chasing them down - unreturned calls, excuses about being busy, not having the authority to resolve the issue, and an otherwise unavailable owner being the only person that could decide how we fix this issue. . Finally, after persistent follow-up, they told me the owner reviewed it and said they "couldn't do anything" because too much time had passed. Seriously? They steal (or lose) my components, charge me for work they didn't do, and then hide behind "passage of time" when called out a year later? No accountability, no apology, nothing. This place is either incompetent or deliberately dishonest. Save yourself the headache and money - take your business anywhere else. Never going there again read more

My 80-year old parents brought a cell phone into this store for help placing a small SIM card into the tray. They charged them $50 for 30 seconds of assistance. SHAME ON YOU for taking advantage of elderly folks lacking the dexterity to take care of such a simple task. read more

I have been doing business with a company that has a website designed by this company. I does not work! The poor people who bought the website are left with a ton of phone calls daily from people trying to get continuing education hours online, through tere company- I decided to call Grand computers to let em know the site is broke! The guy who ans. the phone says- let me get the man who developed that site on the line. He gets on the phone and i tell him that the site is broke and he swore at me and said he did not give a **** what i thought about his site! He also said who care what you think- who are you? I was thinking wow this guy is super crazy and does a terrible job at creating websites... Beware this company does not care who u r or what u think! These guys are no nonsense. They get the job done and not too expensive. I have brought several of my computers here because of viruses, etc and the got it fixed every time. The only negative is that they are real small, so sometimes when they get backed up, the take a little longer than I like. Overall though, a great experience. If you have computer troubles, check these guys out. read more

I have used this company on 3 occasions. I have had people from Augusta GA to bring their computers to this business. Unfortunately I had a system they repaired who's hard drive (they installed) went bad in less than a year. The call I received about the computer from David was the hard drive was bad and he gave me several options. I noticed a pattern after speaking with my Friend in Augusta Georgia that his system and my other computer had the same diagnosis. Which apparently is this companies default sale pitch. 1. Your hard drive is bad 2. We can put in a new hard drive 3. Charge you to download and upload material on the new drive. All of this would be fine until I questioned that they had put this hard drive in within less than a year ago. The other person responded let me open it up and look at the hard drive. I asked if David diagnostic was correct and he opened up the computer why didn't he see the date and why didn't he know it was still under warranty. He replied I am not sure But I will call you back. When he called back he said he opened it up and it was still under warranty. I expect the replacement to be free since they made several mistakes and sold me a faulty hard drive. We he called back he told me the charge would be between 39 and 79.95. I brought it to his attention all the mistakes they made. He checked with management and said that would be the price. I told him this would be the last computer they would fix and I would not recommend their service any more. I picked up my computer and was charged 79.95. read more

took my computer to those guys yes they fixed it and put windows ten on for me then I got a virus which they used the same crap that I use to get viruses off they said my computer was fixed and charged me 79 dollars to fix it got it home and it wasn't fixed I got a copy of windows ten I installed it myself and now the computer works fine the manager said he was going to call me and do a remote fix on it never heard from him I will never take my computer to them anymore they have always been a rip off. and by the way when they install programs on your computer beware if u don't have a product key yourself u will have to get one because there programs are garbage. will never do business with them again read more

Worst place for computer repair. Told me that he would not void my warranty but then he drilled a hole into the case of the computer. Has lied about the cost, his knowledge and he never returns phone calls. Held my computer for about 7 months (fault on both parties). He lost a charger of our and told us we never brought one to him. His job was ti fix a computer that was partially run over. Everything worked fine except for the screen and the keyboard. He fixed the screen and it USED to work. Now he says that it's the mother board. The screen doesn't work now either. I really think that he has no clue as to what he is doing! read more
